Unlike most other Lurmens, Harleen was not born on Mygeeto, this poor sould was instead born immediately into the criminal life in the swamps of Nal Hutta... life on the hutt controled planet could never be called easy, but Harleen had an advantage, loving parents..
Her story is a little different than most others that worked in her profession, her parents worked hard, and sometimes very long hours to provide for her and her brother, they made an honest life on the dishonest planet, and Harleen's father often made sure to include them in his work, teaching them valuable skills that would let them "Stand on their own two feet with pride.." he'd always say, as the whole family worked in his shop. If it ran on power he could fix it, and made sure the whole family could as well, so tinkering was much much more than just a hobby to the Voyou family, it was a legacy.
As much as Harleen loved her father, and as hard as he tried.. The adrenaline of the criminal empires that loomed nearby would call to Harleen, more and more as she grew older, and Harleen's first experience with a thermal detonater would seal the deal.. in her early teens a local street gang would clash against the criminal rulers of the planet, and only a few blocks from the Voyou family home Harleen would watch as they used the explosives to silence the small gang, the fire that reflected from her eyes that night would never leave, though it would take her a handful more years before she did..

Harleen's nickname says the most about her personality, she loves to see things explode.. though when not busy causing wonton destruction, Harleen can often be found dedicating her time to several other passions of hers, such as pick pocketing, a hobby she has turned into an art form, or more commonly, tinkering around with her droids, guns, or ship, a practice she picked up from her father.
In full truth, Harleen cares for only two things, above all else is her brother, the two have spent their entire lives entwined in the shady side of life, and Harleen would topple buildings for him, a close second is credits, her and her brother often flow in the direction of available credits.
