"No kidding," she coughed out. Tann slurped down her slushie trying to get the awful taste out of her mouth. That's when a quick feeling of relaxation hit her. She sighed and hummed a little to herself. Was that the drug? She had no idea.
Segri stood and Tann looked up after one final cough. She smiled and took her hand to get up and together they moved to the bar. Segri would throw her cup away but Tann had a few more sips of hers to gulp down. She went a little faster than she should have, but slowed once the brain freeze started to kick in. Still, after she too deposited her empty glass they'd make their way into the club.
Tann's heart was racing. She was so nervous, but also extremely excited. This is the sort of stuff she wanted to get out and do. Live! That's what she was doing finally. She was living her life. Music was roaring all around them making her head hurt a little. Yet, she wouldn't have it any other way. As they walked to find a seat Segri tried to offer some rules of engagement to which Tann replied "Oh you mean like you are?" but the words were cut out by the sounds of the music.
Sitting down she scooted her way into the booth and looked around the bar now that she wasn't trying to push through people. Her lekku were swaying back and forth behind her head showing her enthusiasm. When the waitress came however, another blush came over her as she realized not only was the woman a Twi'lek, but she was seeing far more of her species than she'd want to. It shouldn't have been any different than any other dinner she'd eaten at, but this just felt...gross? She pitied the girl. After that talk of slavery she wondered if someone forced her to wear that outfit, whatever there was of it at least.
After taking their order and giving Tann a look of amusement, Tann tried to return the smile but it more than anything looked like someone who knew they'd get in trouble for just being here. She had zero confidence to speak of. In a way, it might be adorable to some. To Tann though, she was flushed with shame.
"Can I get back to you on that later...?" she'd respond nervously.
