Hannibal's Hunter Suit

A set of armor Hannibal put together in advance of getting started in the wide world of bounty hunting, the suit serves to protect both his person and identity. As practical as most of the things he wears, the outer suit is composed of durable and flexible moisture-wicking fibers with an armorweave underlay similar to some jumpsuits. The first layers are usually comfortable undergarments. The helmet was custom-molded duraplast and contained a number of Hannibal's preferred features including variable vision modes, a multi-option voice scrambler/amplifier, air filtration system, internal comm unit and audio entertainment system, and easy hookups for slicing equipment. The front mask of the helmet can lift up and away utilizing side joints style commonly hidden by the hood, and can be entirely removed for easy maintenance or repair, as can the plate covering the nose and mouth. External inobtrusive controls placed on the sides of the mask piece control comms, voice scrambler, vision modes, audio entertainment, and a custom bit of work that serves as an electronic vaporizer for a variety of liquid cartridges, commonly nicotine based. The last important piece is a translator inside, set primary to convert Epicant to basic.

The belt contains the connections for slicing equipment, accepting a wide variety of computer systems, so long as they can be reasonably attached. Modular belt attachments contain the standard variety of Jedi goodies, including his usual magnetic plates or hooks for Lightsaber attachment. Overall light, durable, and allowing for the sort of combat style common to a Jedi Knight.

Functions

Function 1: Filter

  • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
Function 2: Voice Scrambler

  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 3: Computer Spike, belt mounted

  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
Function 4: Armorweave (Underlay)

  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
Function 5: Vision Modes

  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
