Hi everybody!

I am new to Star Wars roleplay but am not new to roleplay in general. I am thinking of many character ideas in my head at the moment but am not sure which one to choose. There is still a lot of lore I need to catch up. Hopefully I get fully caught up soon... Though that is unlikely. I look forward to roleplaying with you all!

Thank you I finally thought of an idea! So you can have a max of three if I choose the Sith I can have two Sith character does my third have to be independent or something different? Thank you kindly!

Yes Tin correct.

You can have two Sith characters at max. The third does have to be of the Indie faction.

The Tech Section has many things that can be used by pretty much anyone on the site. It also has the rule for tech, as well as information about what kind of tech would be setting appropriate.

There's also the player workshop where anything with the label of generic tech on it can be used.

In general though, unless it's something really specific and extraordinary, you don't really need to worry about it. The site setting is before the prequels, so if you want to say that "yeah it's a an astromech droid that looks like that one from SWTOR" and there's nothing really super about it (i.e, it doesn't turn into an unstoppable murderbot, or have extreme hacking skills) and is mostly there for fluff, you can just leave it at that most of the time.

Thanks! You could say that I do review Sith profiles, but it's really just out of boredom. I hold no jurisdiction in the approval of such profiles, and my critiques should not compel you to actually make any changes.

But that's awesome to hear! I always love seeing new Sith join in the ranks. :D

As for tech, @Shalken also has an amazing list of most of the approved tech here if you get as lazy as I do when it comes to finding tech.
