Welcome to the site mate! You should have a PM from Padme about the site and that we're about to go through a timeskip. I'd say start at making a character profile though, just to get your feet wet.

Welcome aboard! Generally starting involves putting up a character profile, looking for others to do RP with, and then jumping right by starting threads in The Story section. The thread stickied at the top of New Members area has a lot of useful stuff. We're also undergoing a transition to a new setting, a lot of details can be found on that in this of the forum, and if you're looking to get involved with that stuff there's a planning section here.
