I'll need to check up on the character and faction rules and info for this timeline, been forever since I read, if I remember correctly you can be in one main faction at a time? I'll take a look at which ones suit my interests. Thanks for the heads up

Yes, you can only be in one main at a time. You can be in as many indie factions as you want however.
