hey there I'm new in these kinds of websites and i have tons of question to ask
1. how do i find a character id like, now i know you guys must be saying how stupid i am but please id like any information on where i can get a character.
2. how do i start role playing now i'd really like to know cause I've been looking everywhere and i cant find where to start role playing i am a really good role player i know how to Id call myself semi pro at role playing since i don't know everything
3.now this is the part Id like some serious help, you see I know there are different languages in the star wars languages and your character can speak different ones, does everyone still speak English pretending that they guy/girl speaks that language or do i actually have to speak the language and use a translator or something like that?
4. this one is more like a request can someone post a link to an example for a character template please.
5. and now here's the last question how do i join a faction and if i do join a faction can i betray that faction or be taken as a slave by another to become their faction?
PS. please post any good websites i can get characters from.

Welcome dude!

My apologies for missing this welcomed thread. I've sent you a message. Check your forum inbox.

Essentially, in order to role play (RP), you'll need to create a character profile (CP), and post it on our CP board. I've sent you the link in your inbox.

Once you create your CP, you can find or join OPEN threads on our Story board. That said, we're on a cusp of a timeline change. Again, be sure to read my message in your inbox, as it cotains all the pertinent forum thread links and details.

As for the forum IC language, Basic is the more common one, but on the OOC end, everyone pretty much just writes in English- well, save a few Mando diehards.

Any other questions? Just post them here or inbox more.

Glad to have you!

Cheers!

thank you for telling me, i was just having some troubles with where I Role-play, as for my character I'm almost done making it, and also I have a question about the message you've sent me, I took a look at it but I'm having minor issues understanding the factions, so say if i wanted my character to be say In the New Sith Imperium do i have to wait until Weiss/Dmitri say that i can be a Sith and i have to stay independent untill they do or can i be in the sith faction as part of my story and already know some sorts of force powers or do i have to add in the force powers later?
and one more thing is my lightsaber forms can i choose to start with any lightsaber form, can i only start with the first form or do i have to have a master to train me in a form first?

You can start RPing as soon as you post your CP.

Once you apply for the Sith (in the Sith application thread) you can start looking for other Sith to RP and train with. If you don't hear back about your Sith application within 24 hours, poke the Sith assistant FL- @Clayton.

Insofar as force powers, you can assume that your Sith knows the basic, and or RP it out in a training thread. As for combat forms, you're allowed to learn up to two forms- either through training threads, or self training.

All of the above is in reference to this timeline. If you want to RP in our upcoming new timeline, you'll have to sit tight and wait, as most of our rules, and all of our FLs will change.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers!

Hey I was wondering cause I accidently pressed save on my signiture/ my Character Profile and then I saw it says that theres too many words, do I have to have a certain amount of words, is there a way that i can extend the words or do I have to stick with that amount of words?

Right.
Signature section has limited characters. Just copy paste what you did and inbox it to yourself. I save forum stuff that way all the time.
