HOLCOMB GARAGES
INFORMATION
Holcomb Garages is a small starship manufacturer and tuning garage owned and operated by Tolvite Lepi ace pilot Helen Holcomb. Founded using funds awarded from Helen's participation in an attack on the Zann Consortium, it was originally based on the planet Kessel; unfortunately, the company has had to pack up and move in a hurry after the recent Hutt takeover.
The stated goal of Holcomb Garages is to create high-performance spacecraft blending Tolvite design principles with Galactic technology. To this end, Helen hired a number of engineers from her home planet, representing as many of the local nation-states as possible in order to achieve a broad perspective. In addition, she has hired engineers from other worlds more familiar with standard Galactic technology. There are also support personnel, including laborers, test pilots, security personnel and management.
Overall, Holcomb Garages is a very small company, employing around 30 full-time staff at present. Having had to abandon a great deal in the way of resources on Kessel, including production tooling and a prototype starfighter which was damaged on landing and subsequently scuttled, the company is currently in the process of acquiring new facilities and equipment.
INTENT
Holcomb Garages is intended as a business run by my character, Helen Holcomb. After further development, it is intended that they will manufacture starfighters and other small spacecraft on a bespoke basis at first, gradually becoming larger and more diverse over time.
