It would be an understatement to say that the application of forging a weapon within the binds of the force was a beautiful thing to witness. Watching with keen interest, she dwelled in the turmoil, the strength and the motion poured into this magnificent object.

"Well done Param." Cyu swooned excitedly. Her opal eyes moved from the silver haired Echani and upon the sword she had made with all her might. "I'm proud of you."

The pureblood pulled on the chain, finally closing the forge after the day's work was complete. She couldn't help but imagine doing one for herself some day, perhaps even in the ways of the old ancestors. It must have been an impressively long time since one such object was forged, although it wasn't impossible to not be aware of its occurrence.

Before they would be able to properly celebrate her victory, nor either leave, a loud banging could be heard thrashing against the large main door. Concern immediately shot through the pureblood as her senses tuned in its direction, her mind sharp and focused due to having only limited involvement in the ritual.

"Fuck." Her words told Param all she needed to know about the situation. "Give me your saber." Cyu bellowed, as the beast finally crashed through and let loose a powerful roar. Not only did this monster have a terrible number of weapons at its disposal, it was also highly venomous. "Don't let it touch you." She yelled, stating the obvious, even if Param had no idea what it was.

In her current state, Param was a practically a liability, forcing Cyu forward to cover her.

When all was said and done, Param's eyes burned. Her arms were tired, her stamina with the Force exhausted, and she felt as if she could sleep for days if she laid down. There was a banging and crashing, getting louder and louder until finally it peaked with the door being ripped down. The creature stepped in with a roar. It was terrifying, but Param found herself not scared. She found herself oddly defiant of the creature.

She stumbled over to Cyu, unclipping her lightsaber hilt and tossing it to Cyu. She brandished her new sword, sliding the scabbard through her belt so she could hold the sword with both hands. The obsidian colored blade didn't glow; she could barely sense the thing in the Force. It was like she was normal, thought she was physically exhausted too. Cyu would have to do most of the fighting.

Param refused to be useless. Refused to just sit back while Cyu did everything. "You attack, I'll keep you defended," she said. It was clear in her voice that she was exhausted.

The switch in her eyes to prioritise the new threat pushed forward, igniting the blade as Param threw it to her. The pain she'd feel if the beast destroyed the forge and the surrounding knowledge would be immense, but certainly less than the pain of being trampled into dust.

Cyu dashed forward and away from Param, discharging an immense blast of force lightning, which consequently slammed into its armored face with minor effect. The hulking beast charged, sliding across the stone floor as the pureblood moved across in front of it. A loud snap echoed through the small room, bouncing off the walls as its jaws slammed shut in a futile attempt to grapple its prey.

Distracted, the monster turned to chase Cyu giving Param a moment of respite.

Seeing the beast charge, and Cyu charge it, Param's silver eyes watched the beginning of the battle. Like watching a holo-movie in her mind, she predicted where each combatant would go. They were dangerously close to a workbench with several tomes on it. She'd only get in the way if she tried to defend Cyu, so what better than to defend what Cyu found important?

As fast as she could move, Param put herself between the beast and the workbenches. Just as predicted, the beast lurched backwards, winding up it's vicious claws to swipe at Cyu. If Param wasn't there, the creature would be taking the workbench and the tomes with it.

But she was there, and even exhausted, the graceful martial arts of the Echani were shown. She ducked beneath the claw, swinging the sword in a wide arc above her. The obsidian blade met flesh, and sliced through. The creature roared, blood pouring from the deep wound in it's wrist. It twisted, trying to bring the new thread within sight, but to do it would have to lose sight of Cyu. Param moved the sword back in front of her with both hands, the hilt at her waist and the blade pointing toward the creature. The tomes were safe for now.

The throes and exhilarations of combat seduced an excited smirk from Cyutadakyr as she slid across the ground. Despite her obvious fatigue, Param wasted no time joining the fray, causing the beast to have to pick between the two. The alternating focus would ultimately prove its downfall, if they could just avoid being struck by its venomous claws and teeth.

The vicious attack launched by Param was the opening that Cyu had been waiting for, as the creature turned to face the former. With renewed vigor, the pureblood turned and raced forward to attempt a slash from its side, which would surely end its life.

Unfortunately, as her attack arrived, the beast spun back towards her, its massive fists backhanding the pureblood and sending her flying. Acrobatics being one thing, her less than soft landing and skid sent her across the floor. But it wasn't all bad news, the scorching attack had carved a hefty wound into the beast and its roar confirmed this.

It would take a few seconds for Cyu to be back in the fight, and she could only hold Param could hold on that long.

With Cyu out of the fight, it was up the Force exhausted Param to draw a weakness out of the creature made purely in the Force. It was bleeding, which was good. The creature would most likely end up bleeding out at some point; it was just a matter of if Param and Cyu survived the encounter. Face to face, toe to toe, Param wasn't going to last against the beast. She could however, draw it away and give Cyu time.

Param turned and ran as fast as her exhausted legs would allow her. Which was to say, not very fast at all. She narrowly dodged a swipe of it's claws by a stumbling roll. Tucking her arms in she rolled along the rough forge floor until she could get back to her feet, putting the sword between her and it.

The beast reached for her, and every time Param put another cut into it's fingers, forcing it back momentarily. She wouldn't be able to keep it up though, and the beast was learning that it could overpower her defense quite easily. Param's silver eyes turned to Cyu, laced with pleading.

Recovering from the tumble, Cyutadakyr jumped back onto her feet and rushed the monster again, lightsaber in hand. Since Param had taken its full attention with her heroics, the adrenaline thrashed through her body as the prospect of potentially watching someone so near and dear to her being clobbered by a monstrosity held her full attention.

Enhanced by the force with every step, Cyu shot another blast of intense force lightning into its back in a successful effort to turn its attention back upon her and away from the vulnerable Echani. As the beast attempted to turn, it hadn't realised just how close the pureblood had gotten, missing her dive between its legs as she slid through.

The sizzle of blade meeting bone rocked the chamber as Cyu's saber sliced through one of its knees from back to front and throwing it into a spin as it fell. Angered, pained and out for blood, the beast was still a potent threat, but together, the pureblood was sure, they'd put it down for good soon.

Param breathed a sigh of relief when Cyu took the beast's attention. As the beast spun and toppled, it tried grasping at Cyu with its free hand. Quick jabs and slices at its fingers kept the hand down. Every cut bringing out more blood, more painful roars from the beast. It would almost be sad if the beast wasn’t a literal spawn from the Dark Side.

The Echani moved around the large, clawed hand. At the wrist, Param slammed the blade down. The gracefulness was gone, replaced by sheer, brutal desperation. She hacked and slashed, cutting through the wrist and bone. The creature howled, tried to thrash but was stuck.

Finally, adding a scream to her desperation, Param cut through, and the creature lifted its arm, the hand stayed on the hard, forge floor. The feat left Param physically exhausted. She staggered backwards, dropping to a knee. Her new sword, tip down on the floor as she rested herself on the hilt was all that was keeping her up.

Once fully slid through under the beast, Cyu pivoted back up onto her feet, ducking to avoid the incoming claw swipe as it tumbled. This foe was proving to be quite resistant to all but the most powerful of attacks, but she quickly recognised that without ending the fight soon, Param was in danger.

While the Echani danced with death once more, the pureblood raised lightsaber towards its chest and heaved its fiery point into the beasts' chest, aiming for her approximation of its heart. Instantly, a bone rattling scream pierced the darkness as her attack met its mark and seizing up its badly damaged limbs.

A thunderous crash signalled its sudden and brutal end as the body collapsed into a heap before the pair. Adrenaline pumping, Cyu remained ready to strike as if somehow doubting the killing blow would be enough to topple the monster, yet its return never arrived.

Panting as the thrill and exertion caught up with her, Cyu switched off the blade. A wave of concern battered the powerful warrior as she turned to see Param barely holding on. "Are you hurt? Param?" She winced, pouring her eyes over the Echani looking for wounds or other such injuries before reaching out to support her.

Param shook her head. "I'm okay... just tired," she said between pants of breath. Taking Cyu's arm to help her up. Param carefully shook the blood from her sword and sheathed it at her belt. "What was that?" she asked, her silver eyes fixed on the creature. It was terrifying, even in death. Massive, venomous claws and teeth. Param didn't feel like spending much more time looking at it. "Can you take me back to the garden?"

When they were out in the garden, Param sat down amongst the tilled soil and freshly planted seeds, laying down with heavy breaths. It wasn't long until she fell into a deep sleep of recuperation.

Cyutadakyr watched ever so carefully as Param responded, a little more at ease as she did. The ordeal of force forging a sword in itself was an arduous one, let alone then being pitted against a monstrous creation. "That...was a Terentatek, I believe." She stopped to watch it again, ensuring once more it was properly dead.

"They are supposed to be guardians, protecting important places, but I thought this place was completely abandoned." It was a frustrating oversight, but one that had somehow worked out in the end.

Nodding, Cyu took Param into her arm to begin leading the pair back to the garden they had started. In time, perhaps she would return to investigate the creature further and take a trophy. But for now her entire focus and attention was on ensuring Param was safe and comfortable.

Once back outside, the pureblood retraced their steps back toward the pretty little green spot in the middle of a vast desert. It was clear there was much work to be done, including finding some droid assistance, but in a way the seed had been planted and with a little help it would flourish.

Sitting together in the garden and under the gaze of the lowering sunlight, at last, they'd rest.
