Vincent was impressed by Kal's ability to avoid the lethal barriages of punches whilst eating shots, it was not easy to keep composure in the face of such a violent assault. As she pulled him down onto her, looking to roll, he dropped another elbow aimed towards her face, this one coming down with the full weight of his body behind it before he planted his chest onto hers and his "trunk" to the hard floor. Her attempt to roll was largely nullified, but he was put off balance by the maintaining posture to the point that he couldn't throw more strikes right then.

As his elbow slammed down, Kal diagonally shifted her left arm, which was aiming to push his face away. Her elbow collided with his and allowed her to avoid the brutal slam to her face. Kal coughed as he fell right on her, sending another wave of pain up her body. However, she relaxed her body, giving him the signal that she made no move to attack. Kal's face lacked emotion and blood continued to flow freely from her mouth. She spat some off to the side before looking up at him, their faces mere inches apart. She could smell his blood and sweat, a true testament to the battle that had taken place. Kal knew he was a worthy leader, a well-rounded fighter that was fierce in all levels of combat. She was not trained well in ground fighting, but he knew even that. Kal finally managed a small grin, not attempting to hide her missing tooth. Her voice was barely above a whisper.

"Mandalore."

Vincent stopped in his tracks as soon as she did, a mutual understanding that the combat was finished. He mirrored her bloodied, bruised and battered grin with one of his own, except his teeth were still intact after the battle. A strong sense of accomplishment washed over him as he finally gained the acceptance he spent the last four decades fighting to achieve. The word left her lips and sent a chill up his spine.

"Mandalore."

He had defeated Kal Solus, the former Mandalore, in the truest form of combat and proved everyone whom had doubted him wrong. Vincent stood up in her guard again, this time offering a hand to help her up instead of raining down punches. After she was upright again, he re-donned his armor quickly and opened the exit ramp to his ship via a quick verbal command in Mando'a. A protocal droid came out pushing a large durasteel crate on wheels down the ramp and next to where Vincent stood, a few feet from Kal.

"You must be famaliar with the ideals of cin vhetin, that once one takes up their armor their past no longer matters. Today, I offer you a chance to erase the wrongdoings of your past and re-join our people."

With another click, the walls of the durasteel box collapsed and revealed Kal's suprise: her armor. It had been updated and modernized to include new technology, anything she didn't want could be removed and anything she wanted could probably be added eventually. It was, well, beautiful for a set of armor.

"I hope you'll accept this. It took quite some time to find all the pieces and update it."

Kal was usually completely devoid of emotions. However, when the box opened and she saw the familiar designs and pattern of her armor, she was hit with a wave of emotions. She almost staggered back, the effect of seeing her armor more powerful than the impact of a physical attack. Kal slowly approached the box, her eyes widening. The beskar armor was comprised of various parts all modified to fit her and allow room for agility. Kal almost shook as she reached for it, noting that it had been upgraded. She silently put on the plates, pulling on the bracers and shoulder plating. Kal also placed her crushgaunt gloves on. She had designed her armor herself, knowing it inside out. Kal put everything on except for the helmet. She picked it up and gazed at it fondly, as it bore the symbol of her clan. Kal could not be more grateful as she glanced back up at Vincent, a hint of a smile gracing her features. The expression was enough to thank him a million times, though she was too proud to say anything out loud. Kal did not put her helmet on, pondering for a moment as she met his eyes.

"What rank am I to be given, Mandalore?"

Vincent smiled as she took in the sight of her newly updated armor and fitted into what would have essentially been her skin for years as she fought for the Taung people. Being reunited with your armor was like seeing your offspring again after years of seperation.

"Alor."

Vincent's words carried almost as much weight as her's did moments ago, though he was not certain his would mean as much to her as her's did to him. He had accepted her fully back into the fold, placing her as the second-in-command of the Mandalorian forces, answering only to him. He put his crushgaunts on her shoulders, obviously not squeezing so hard as to crack the new armor.

"Welcome back Kal."

Kal was surprised at his words. It was truly an honor to have such a high title. Her life had taken a dramatic turn in a single day. She had expected to live out her life within these marshes, always like a primal beast and never facing her past again. Kal remained silent after he spoke, simply looking down at her helmet. She had worked all her life to climb up the ranks, ultimately gaining the title of Mandalore. However, she felt this man before her deserved the title. She could put aside her xenophobic line of thinking simply because he had proven himself in combat. Kal was shaken out of her thoughts as he placed his hands on her shoulders. She nodded in response, truly elated.

"Thank you..."

Kal finally raised the helmet, slowly lowering it over her head. The metal hissed as it clasped on, giving her the appearance of a true Taung warrior. The HUD displays activated immediately. She stepped back and saluted him as her superior.

"Clan Solus is proud to follow you. And I am honored to serve as Alor. We shall bring glory to our people and rise as one."
