With the current round of battles ending, the Empire is ready to redeploy. We’re going to have a few surprises this round. Please review Tusa's announcement here.
At this point I’m only going to release our intent and only one of the specific Hutt deployments- the rest have already been established but will not be released until closer to the date. Please check the Battle Rotation thread. If you’re in a defensive squadron then you’re generally not going to be participating in these assaults. HOWEVER, this round we will be drawing one of our defensive groups into offense to compensate for our strategy.
Also unlike the previous battle agenda thread, I will not release the full details of the operation as they are subject to change. Rest assured that this is the plan and we will stick to it- I just don’t want to post details until they’re completely finalized.
We will be fighting in three theaters of battle.
Theater 1: Assault on Taanab Pt. 2 – Electric Dance Boogaloo
Historical Information: A newly civilized planet located in the Inner Rim, Taanab is notable for its agriculture and the fact it rests on the Perlemian Trade Route- a road that leads directly into the heart of the Republic.
Situation: Taanab’s space has been overrun with Hutt Imperial forces, giving the Empire ample time to deploy against the stationed defenses. As space is already secure, the fighting will occur primarily on ground.
Mission Objectives: Deploy on Taanab to subdue local defenses and capture the planet in the name of the Empire.
Expectations: Resistance will be cut off from external support, while Imperial forces will have the valuable asset of aerial support. Presence of both Jedi and RMC is highly possible yet unconfirmed.
Assigned Squadron: Steel Rain Armada
Theater 2: Battle for Bilbringi
Historical Information: Nearby the freshly-captured Dorin, Bilbringi (and more specifically Bilbringi VII) is home to the invaluable Bilbringi Shipyards- a massive building ground for the Republic Navy. A heavy portion of the Republic war machine rests on Bilbringi’s shoulders, justifying an attempt for capture.
Situation: During the Dorin campaign, Darksaber Squadron made moves against the Bilbringi shipyard’s defenses and power grids. Should everything go to plan, defenses and power will be shut off to the shipyard until it is safely under Hutt control.
Mission Objectives: It is ideal that the Empire capture the shipyards. However, if this proves to be impossible destruction of the shipyards is the only alternative. Partially built Republic vessels should be kept in tact and captured.
Expectations: Due to its status as a major Republic shipyard, Bilbringi will be heavily defended from the Republic Navy. Many half-built and defenseless vessels will be in construction, and the Navy will certainly make efforts to protect these vessels. Exploitation of this fact is recommended.
Assigned Squadron: Emperor's Eyes Armada, Mandalorian Armada
Theater 3: Esstran Sector Invasion
Historical Information: Located in the Outer Rim Territories, the Esstran sector is home to the formerly-mysterious Dark Jedi of the Bogan as given by his almighty Tusa Ujalli Hai. Due to recent transgressions against the throne, this gift has been revoked.
Situation: Not much is known about the Bogan Empire’s war situation, as Hutt Intel operatives have been tied with Republic inspection. However, it is suspected that the Bogan have a high amount of troops with a small amount of naval vessels. Orbital battles are expected to move in a timely manner, while land battles may quickly turn into bloodbaths.
Mission Objectives: Using Jedi assistance, secure the Esstran Sector by destroying the Bogan Navy. Afterwards, occupy the planets and round up all members of the Bogan Order. None are to survive.
Expectations: It is likely Bogan forces will center themselves on defending their three planets- Conscio, Thule, and Ziost. Religious fanaticism is expected- brutality is the recommended course of action with the natives. Remaining resentment towards the Bogan may be exploitable. Ysalamiri and vornskrs have been focused to your fleet, giving you an abundance of the force-fighting animals.
Assigned Squadron: High Admiral's Armada, Republic's Folly Armada, Akela Armada
Theater 4: Keep-Away with the Kolto
Historical Information: An aquatic planet in the Pyrshak system, Manaan is home to the Selkath and the only source of kolto- an invaluable healing liquid common in medical procedures. Five years ago, the then-Council members Tusa and Jorv purchased all kolto plants on Manaan, creating a monopoly for the Hutts. They have been secretly stockpiling across the galaxy since then to fuel Tusa's war.
Situation: A technically neutral planet, the Selkath are politically friendly to the Republic and economically friendly to the Empire. The Empire has no formal space fleet defending Manaan as their presence was formerly secretive. Battle will be done in the cities and on the seas, using the local firaxan shark rider natives and factory workers alongside Hutt troops and agents. Vehicle support will be present in the form of naval vessels and air support- Kohsev Helicopters and Drone droids will be prominent, with Sicarius tanks in the cities.
Mission Objectives: Repel Republic assault long enough for the Imperial Navy to secure the planet. Should it prove impossible to hold off the Republic, the kolto must be destroyed in its entirety along with the kolto plants. The kolto may not under any circumstances fall to Republic hands.
Expectations: We will have the home-field advantage in this situation. Due to our generous treatment of the Selkath, many natives support open Hutt occupation and have chosen to take sides with the Empire. Use this advantage to maneuver our submarines into advantageous positions and to repel Republic intervention.
Assigned Squadron: New Armada
@Star Raider Armada - You WILL be deployed this round at either Esstran or Manaan. This is to be decided and will come at a later date.
