FENN-TASTIC! Zaa Fenn back!

Once the dominant criminal organization in the galactic underworld, the Zaa Fenn Crime Family has emerged back on the galactic stage after falling foul of the Independent Systems Consortium (ISC), which led to their apparent demise. However the Herald can reveal that the Zaa Fenn are back on the galactic scene once more.

Former leader of the Crymorah Syndicate, Preef Zaa Fenn, the infamous gunslinger who is better known by his birth name of 'Callo' has likewise returned. Presumed dead at the hands of an unknown assailant following his public execution of the previous Hutt 'Supreme Mogul' Durr, he subsequently announced his return to the galactic underworld nearly a year ago.

However, with several appearances in Hutt Space, the gunslinger has now been spotted in a risky blasterfight on Coruscant to foil an assassination attempt on a local politician!

It has also reached the Herald -through a source on Mos Espa, Tatooine - that the new Boss of the Zaa Fenn, Kara Zaa Fenn, has began doing business from the family's new headquarters there, called the Belching Frog Saloon. Though the person in question has not yet been spotted, she's rumoured to be grooming her son to take on an essential role in the family business.

Nobody is sure what that business is, however, a Herald investigation has discovered that it involves a gang of gunslingers that are wanted in most of the Mid-to-Outer Rim and a surprisingly large amount of Mandalorians. Of course, both Preef and Kara are known members of the esteemed Bounty Hunter's Guild, so some suggest the endeavour is entirely above board.

Yet, given their background - that seems hard to believe.

DEC-OVERY: Daring expedition begins!

The Discovery Exploration Corps has launched an expedition into the Unknown Regions. In what has been called a "daring and dangerous flight", a group of adventurers has headed into the Unknown regions in what could be one of the most influential scientific ventures in recent years.

Based on the DECS Pathfinder, this scientific exploration troop has already begun searches for lost treasure troves, new space anomalies and much more.

Headed by Captain Lance Priam, the crew is made up entirely of volunteers, facing the "real possibility that they may never return" according to sources close to the group backing the mission. However, observers have hailed the mission as 'a revelation', with the galactic scientific community keen to know what it turns up.

Mere days into launching, however, the group faced a ration shortage; the Herald was informed. Allegations of thieves on the Pathfinder abound, but the crew have taken to finding new ways to shore up their food reserve. As well as this, members of the crew have taken to charting new sources of mineral wealth in space, and trying to uncover lost ship wrecks.

We'll keep you updated on their progress in future editions.

MORE HOT AIR: Galactic Senate meets to hear Imperial address amid rumours of reforms.

The Galactic Senate meets again, with an address from the Emperor, in which he is expected to outline his plans for his new regime. Focusing on 'Prosperity & Stability', the Emperor has confirmed his regime remains committed to tackling the threat of the Sith Order.

At present, there has been a muted response from the broader galactic community, with the only speeches made at the time of printing being from the Ubrikkian Senator, Dimon Fee Simm. The ISC have yet to comment on the agenda of the new Emperor.

Later in the session, the Herald can reveal a proposal to reform seat allocations in the Senate rotunda has been suggested, again my Senator Fee Simm.

The Senator confirmed to the Herald that the motion would "transition the Senate to be representative of the galaxy, not its Governments" following a "series of governmental collapses, that have enshrined power in the hands of very few". Senator Fee Simm suggested the move would "realign representation back to how it was prior to the present system, namely seeing Sectors represented in the rotunda.".

BE-CZERK: Is Imperial Czerka better than the main branch?

New Emperor and former Grand Moff Davik Emer-Drast has allegedly made a deal with the Czerka MegaCorporation, to spin off its Imperial holdings as a self-sustaining and self-governing entity within Imperial Space.

Imperial Czerka, which was formed when former ISC-governor and Blackwell Executive Julia Hipori was appointed CEO, has shot to prominence in the region, with some experts saying it won't take long before Imperial Czerka surpasses the main branch.

Will they stick together and be able to fend off the rising threat of the Blackwell Corporation, or will it evolve into inevitable infighting, and will the new subsidiary eventually split off from Czerka entirely? Only time will tell, but the Herald's financial experts agree that the latter is the more likely scenario."

OOC - Thanks to @Eccles again for the text, which has been adapted from his submission. Please do submit stories ahead of the next edition!
