Killik threat 'neutralised' as FWA finds steam

  • Dozens of Alliance ships engaged Killik vessels desperately to safeguard free space.
  • It comes after numerous attacks on Alliance worlds leave millions displaced or missing.
  • Victory for the Alliance was hard-won, with a hostile Killik fleet left for scrap.

This week, dozens of Alliance ships engaged a hostile Killik war party following a tense stand-off.

It comes after months of sporadic fighting with the Killik, which saw many planets attacked, and millions of civilians displaced and killed.

The Alliance confirmed the engagement and victory to the Herald late last night.

Early reports say the battle was 'furious' with casualties mounting on either side.

In the largest fleet deployment in recent Alliance history, the Navy saw off the Killik menace, which was made up of 'joined' New Republic warships.

'This was a joint effort of Alliance planets,' said Commander Bugsmasher of the FWA, who led one of the ships in the battle.

'I'm confident we've seen off the bulk of the Killik forces,' he told the Herald.

Killik fleets had posed a significant threat to the Alliance and other governments across the galaxy. But, unfortunately, they refused to engage in diplomatic work.

A report from the Alliance confirmed that the battle, which took place over Commenor, had 'neutralised the bulk of the Killik forces', adding that 'the Alliance [was] confident that they now had the upper hand'.

The write-up commended the combined operations force and Senator Aezz, who emerged as the strike forces leader.

Other political leaders had been involved in the attack.

The current whereabouts of the remaining Killik have yet to be discovered.

COMMENT: Liberals in Alliance fail to protect Senators.

Following the death of Senator Stythani, Liberal Senators prove they cannot even keep their own safe.

Senator Sythani was found dead last week following a meeting with the Jedi Grand Master.

Having been detained in Consortium space (without due process or a trial), she was bundled off to the Jedi whilst the Liberals in the Alliance sat on their hands.

Afraid to step up and protect their citizens, again, the Alliance, indeed, has blood on its hands.

Citizens across the Galaxy are left demanding footage of what happened and, more importantly, proof that the Senator was given representation ahead of her extradition.

From where we're standing, she was carted off to a Jedi execution without the protections she deserved as a free citizen.

Yet again, the Jedi have killed with impunity, perhaps even executing a Senator without trial.

And our political leaders seem intent on doing nothing.

What happens next?

Are any of us safe from these force fanatics?

It seems like we aren't.

If a former Senator can get detained and bagged off to foreign space, to be executed, what chance is there for the rest of us?

You don't see this happening to Consortium citizens.

Only to Alliance members!

If the Alliance cannot keep people safe, what's the point of it?

We're left at the mercy of a hostile galaxy, with the Liberal political class failing to do their job, and keep the ordinary hard working people of the Alliance safe.
