| Freddie sat meditating on the cold stone slab, and was trying his best to focus, but was having trouble. Nothing but some good ol’ meditating at first light. He felt himself smirk, and opened his eyes. Ugh. Sometimes Freddie hated being a Jedi more than not being at the temple. The only reason he was here was because of “A sense of weakness on the planet.” Now, if meditating on a slab solved the problem, Freddie didn’t see the point of this. He stood up and headed to a bar, hoping to rid of his mind of boredom. Walking in, he gestured to the bartender for a drink. Once it was prepared, he grabbed the glass and walked out, ignoring whatever the bartender was saying to him. He took a sip, and decided he might as well enjoy himself for the moment. He sat at a bench, and waited. Maybe this job isn’t so bad. He thought, smiling. He put his arms over the bench, and decided to rest for a little bit. He thought of his boyfriend, who was studying at the academy at the time of his rest. He saw a hooded figure staring over at him, observant. Freddie cocked his head, but just decided to leave the bench and head back to the temple. |
