Imperial Marshall
Training Guidelines

The Imperial Marshall's are small but tight knit group. Without any ranks to speak of the most important things a Marshall can gain are experience and knowledge. As such Marshall's are encouraged to take part in training with their brethren so that they too may pass on this expertise and put to good use in service of the Rebellion. However the resources of the Marshall's are limited. There are no holocrons for self training, and not much knowledge has survived the different destruction faced by the Marshall's predecessors, the Imperial Knights. Regardless there are many different types of training available to a Marshall:

One on One Training
Training between two individuals alone allows for a great deal of depth in a certain area. Any two Marshall's may train together and may pick up new skills in the use of the Force and Lightsaber. A Marshall may also train one on one with another member of the Rebellion to further advance these skills, and of course to gain skills in areas other than the Force and Lightsaber.

Group Training
Group training as the name would imply is done between several different Marshall's. Many times these are done in the same strain as classes with one Marshall educating the others, but it can also be a more equitable training session where everyone learns something new. Group training with non-Marshall's participation can also be done, although a Marshall can obviously not learn a Force or Lightsaber skill from these men and women.

Self Training
Self training as a Marshall can be done to improve an already existing Force or Lightsaber skill, but cannot be done to learn new ones the same way a Jedi or Sith could. The Marshall's do not possess a library of their knowledge at present at they currently making use of other Rebel facilities and have yet to completely settle in to their new role.

Missions
Using ones Force or Lightsaber skills during the course of a mission to aid the Rebellion can improve ones skill in it as a Marshall learns to utilize these skills during high pressure situations. Some missions can also be undertaken to ancient ruins of the Jedi, Sith, and other Fore-Practicing groups in hopes of uncovering some shred of knowledge for consumption.

The safest place for a Marshall to train is in the confines of one of the Rebel Bases. With the current political situation widespread use of Force powers and Lightsabers in public can draw the wrong kind of attention. This does not mean a Marshall should never train outside of the bases however, just that they should avoid more public areas and always be on alert when doing so.
