Tiamat gave him a look as he described her iced exterior that sealed away her warmth inside. Though it was probably more him using the term "ooey gooey" that caught a look before she protested the comparison, with scoff, but couldn't think of a definitive argument knowing she was a sucker for romantics. Instead her cheeks turned red and she had to bite her lip with much effort from giving in to a snicker.
He sat up next to her and it took her a moment to decide to slide away to give some space between them, or remain put, letting him sit as close as he wanted. This was all different for her, things she imagined that just happened in holo's were transpiring now, and just like Altair, Tiamat was still wrapping her head around how different this trip had become. Though to add to the unfamiliar, he now was asking about her family. Tia glanced at him, following his gaze to the pictures and was silent for a moment, trying to find her words as though she had forgotten how to even talk about them.
"No, they didn't like them, the jedi or sith, it didn't matter who they were." she started, remembering dinner conversations as her mom and dad complained about the latest jedi to tell them how to do their job. "They were Sector Rangers; they were murdered when the Ranger headquarters was attacked on Corellia. I didn't know I was force sensitive until way after and used to think they would have hated to know their only daughter was one of them." Tiamat frowned, "But then I decided they would have changed their mind. I think they would have been proud of what I have been able to accomplish with my power." she smiled, glancing at Altair before she return her gaze to her portraits.
"I remember they were always busy after the Jedi started intervening, but they always made time for us to go to our vacation home by the ocean. We'd sit outside, look at the stars, listen to the ocean..." her smile grew wider thinking about it. "They are some of my favorite memories."
