In the market for a pirate class ship

Yo ho a pirate's life for me hahaha. Basically I'm planning to reboot an old pirate character and fit her into this timeline. The thing is I am trying to find a ship for her. Does anyone have a recommendation for a pirate style ship and how many NPCs could she be allowed to lead as a captain RP-wise?
