Coruscant Underworld
Level 1313

1313. The heart of the criminal underworld on Coruscant. This place? It didn't care who ruled the surface. Empires, Republics; they come and go. But the kings and queens of this level and those below ruled eternal. The Jedi and their light, even the Sith who were used to the dark rarely visited this sordid kingdom.

And some of those that did, rarely returned.

It was here a new...power? No. Perhaps that wasn't the right word for Vex. Nevertheless he now walked among these shadows. From one criminal underworld to another. After his success on Nar Shaddaa he decided the next logical place to visit was Coruscant. Despite his Force Sensitivity and unaffiliated stance, he wasn't worried.

The Cybernetic man had arrived two weeks ago. Making deals here and there, sometimes for credits, but primarily for information. He still wasn't sure what he was looking for or hoping to learn. What path his clawed feet were leading him down. For now he was but a wanderer. Drifting from place to place, keeping to the shadows. He could feel...fate? Destiny? Perhaps it was his own ambitions beginning to surface?

It must be ambition.

Been a few years since I felt that. It must be for I don't believe in destiny. I believe in a fate we weave for ourselves.

Vex managed a weak smile to himself as he continued his aimless walk through the streets. No destination. No current target. Mission. Just wandering...one never knows what awaits around the next bend. What surprise, opportunity, or change was a breath away. "Actually...I'm kind of hungry. Maybe I'll look for a diner."

On this busy day or night or whatever time it was in this dark city, another lost soul was wandering. But unlike Vex, she had a purpose. Her name was Valerie Black, but her true name was Verisha Condorro. She had come with her brother, Virion Condorro, to search out a crime syndicate and remove it from existence. Naturally they wouldn't find it by walking down the street and heading up to their front door. They decided to split up and cover more ground with the thought that the gangsters might target Valerie due to her being a woman...and alone. But she was never alone. She had with her the Dark side of the Force. While not the greatest fighting in terms of hand to hand combat, she was a powerful and dangerous sorceress. Any fool dare challenge her would surely perish in her wrath. For this reason alone she carried her single-grip lightsaber proudly on her hip. She was a Sith. She was the Law.

Valerie was wearing a heavy brown assassin style outfit made of thick leather which covered from her shoulders down to her shins. The arms as well as the front were laced up and were each covered by another layer of leather; gloves with thick padding covered the backs of the hands, while a corset covered the torso. The skirt of the outfit which fell down just after the corset was cut into four pieces. The sides were the longest of the them and covered most of the legs. The back and the front simply covered the gaps that would be exposed when in motion, such as spinning around or jumping. While standing still the whole skirt would fall into place and look like a simple long dress. Under the leather skirt she wore tall boots with just a little heel to them that also laced up the front. She looked like someone who could defend themselves, but she was still a woman and aside from the saber really didn't seem too threatening. It was only a matter of time before someone came along to stir up trouble.
