INDYANA, WAKE UP!
The galaxy rang with the sounds of many voices, cries in the dark. Despair, anger, fear, and pain sang out in the darkness, and in her grief she left the Order she once so loved. Walked away from the grief she could feel through the Force. She had lost two that she loved, and one she looked up to like a brother. She once stood in a sunlit council, walked with Grandmasters, held children and trained them, even when she herself questioned her place through it all.
And yet the moment her faith was tested, she wavered. She turned her back on her students, on her people. Shut herself off from the galaxy when her people were attacked and prejudiced and did nothing while her few remaining friends suffered in the world she abandoned.
Broken, useless, traitor.
She had used her grief as an excuse, flying away from everything to bury herself in her work. Forgetting Roland. Forgetting Maxims, Hannibal, even Alex. Forgetting Byron.
Leaving the Jedi.
Until she fell down a crevasse. Left alone for days, starving and wasting away on an unknown planet. Certain she would die here, alone and forgotten. Unable to block out the voices, the pain, the agony that filled the galaxy once more. When she clawed to consciousness, only one thought rang in her head, that spoke of things left unsolved and the path needing to be set once more.
To stop hiding. To stop running. After all...
It was in a Jedi's nature.
But first, she would have to rebuild, and survive this cave. There was work to be done.
