Inner Circles

So, in this timeline, each of we four councillors have more responsibility when it comes to our temple, and those who would specialise in our area. With the masters and knights 'belonging' to us.

I figured the natural extension of this was to have something akin to an 'inner circle'. For me, obviously, this would be something like an Elite strike force, comprised of fantastic swordsmen. For the diplomats, a team of expert negotiators. For the Sage's, a team of force warriors or somesuch.

Basically, I was wondering if you guys were planning anything like this, or had any idea about how to collect your circle?

My plan, as it stood, was to collect the 'best' practitioner of each lightsaber form, (including Jar'kai and Double bladed) and then train them further, as a team. My plan to do this was to hold a blade only tournament, and then take the highest placing character for each form to begin building my team with.

Did you guys have any plans like this?

Oh, I'm aware that atm, It would take all the knights and a good chunk of padawan to fill the team so obviously it'll take time (especially considering I want the team to be made up of knight/master level characters).

That's not a bad idea at all. I might have to put some thought into how to distinguish my better negotiators from another, which could prove to be slightly hard as well since there's not as much interest, but I'll find a way. :)

I had thought about something like this too, but you said it much better than I was thinking it. I agree that this should be done over time.

I'm going to build an information network of Jedi who (combined) know pretty much all there is about the Sith, the Jedi and the conflicts between the two. These people will be sent on missions to find out movements and intentions etc. of our soon-to-be enemies, and would report back to me (who'd then report to Will). It wouldn't be completely unlike the Jedi Shadow of the previous timeline, apart from that they would be on purely information finding missions as opposed to assassinations. As Lecchamemnon is a pretty hard-to-gain-trust-from guy positions within this inner circle of "librarians" would be very limited and dished out on a strictly case-by-case basis.

Any good, or should I stick to the usual librarian/historian sort of stuff?
