Cy-botted: Intimidation Factor
Cybot Galactica's CEO could use a bit of a personal touch in being convinced to sell. His estate lies on Etti IV, in Corporate Sector space. Find him at night when he is home and intimidate him, and leave a good 'lasting impression on the man'. Feel free to rough him up, but do not kill him.

alexander-house-sci-fi-abstract.jpg

It was rather easy to charm one's way into someone's favor when said someone lacked the capacity to recognize subtle hints of manipulation even if they stared at them on the face. Granted, Hrist hadn't even resorted into using the Force yet but the man she was talking to didn't even bat an eyelash and began to talk about his employer when she sweetly asked where he worked.

She disliked being touched without her consent but she let the man’s hand linger on hers, up to her arm and bare shoulder, as he bragged about how certain he was at finally being made head of personal security for Cybot Galactica’s CEO one of these days. As the man grew progressively drunk he began to share more about his employer, including the latter’s assets and – she would've fought the urge to mentally roll her eyes if she didn't need any and all information about the target – vacation plans. Hrist was glad that she left Xeno in her ship, instructing the Acolyte to meditate or whatever he deemed crucial to his learning while she went out to gather intel, or else he would have murdered the CEO's employee for touching her. Knowing how charmed he seemed to be towards her, Hrist knew that it wouldn't be beneath Xeno to do exactly that. Now was not the time to make use of the violence he was capable of – at least not yet.

One dead guard later, his body left to be discovered in a dingy alleyway long after his unknown killer had departed, and the two Sith were off to their next destination. It would not take them long to track down the target who was staying in his estate on Etti IV – the combined influence and public data regarding the head of Cybot Galactica were more than enough for Master and Apprentice to formulate a plan on how to undertake the mission they accepted.

Jaskier Meridna's estate was, as expected, were being patrolled by guards who were armed with blaster rifles and stun batons. For someone who dealt with technology, Cybot's CEO seemed to rely more on organics rather than droids for his estate's security. They looked capable enough of securing any threats to their employer's safety, she could give them that, but they were not trained to combat Force-users. Hrist's eyes glowed red beneath the cover of her helmet as she reached out through the Force and tapped into two of the patrolling guards' minds. Met with no form of resistance she stepped out of the cover of the darkness and strode towards where the guards stood motionless, knowing that her student was following close behind. With a flick of her hand and a nudge to one of the guard's mind, the man pressed on the commlink to his ear to give his and his partner's report about their patrol area.

"Notus – south side – all clear. Requesting other patrol status, over."

"Euros, all clear."

"All clear, Boreas."

"Zephyros, all clear and ready to make a shift, over."

The female Sith's focus shifted on the other guard who pulled out a key card from his pocket. Turning away from his post, Hrist tipped her helmeted head in a gesture for Xeno to follow as they walked after the guard. The man swiped his key card on the panel on the door and it slid open with a hiss. Knowing that Xeno would follow still, the Marauder stepped inside the entrance to the estate's south wing, her grip in the guards' minds still present. She made the guard who opened the door for the two Sith to walk back to his post before relinquishing her control over them, the two guards blissfully blinking back into awareness and unheeding of the manipulation they have just been subjected into. Had Hrist not been adept with the display of power she would have already damaged the minds of the two men with her initial prodding to their mind with the use of the Force.

Now inside the target's estate, Hrist turned to Xeno and reminded him why they were here in the first place.

"Remember, dear: We're only here to intimidate the target, not kill him," she told the Acolyte. Xeno already knew that, he was with her when they received the mission from the Blackwell Tech client who wished to remain anonymous. But a little reminder wouldn't hurt anyone, would it?

Patting a gloved hand on his bare chest, she smiled wickedly up at him and offered in consolation, "But you're allowed to... rough him up. Feel free to join me with doling out threats, though. After all, we are here to leave a lasting impression that will haunt him even in his sleep."

Entering the south wing with his master Xeno surveyed the area. His expression on his face was blank until he felt the hand of his master. Snapping back into reality he heard her words as he looked her in the eye. Yes of course there was no killing the target. Xeno knew this, he also knew that all others are fair game.

“Of course my master” Xeno looked at her and let out a smirk. His eyes filled with desire, but this time for destruction. He wanted to kill something. “Shall we split up master? Or do we clear the rooms together?” Xeno still feeling her warm touch, he hadn’t wanted this to end but duty calls. The contract must be fulfilled and he urged for carnage.

The room they were in, looked be a feasting room. Or dining room as some would say. Glass windows all around and a large table. This is a large open area. “Whatever we decide, we should hurry.” Xeno’s gaze laid back on his master.

Split up? Clear rooms together? Oh, her student was so adorable that Hrist had to refrain herself from swatting a gloved hand to the back of his head. She shot him an impassive look, the twinkle of amusement gone in her eyes at his suggestion. It was both logical and painfully obvious but he seemed to be forgetting something. Two Force-sensitives in search for a single target who could be anywhere in his estate, unaware and unprepared of the threat that now existed within the safety of his home, and Xeno wanted to look for Meridna the old-fashioned way?

The Marauder turned on her heels and headed for the nearest door, already extending her senses through the Force to ascertain their target's position as well as any security personnel assigned within the estate. She also kept her eyes peeled for any motion sensors or any other tech that could alerts anyone of her and Xeno's presence.

“My sweet, darling Zabrak boy,” said Hrist with a hint of subtle condescension, clearly unimpressed as the door in front of her slid open to reveal a long and spacious hallway. “Why would you burden yourself with something so tedious when you can use your gift in the Force?”

As if to prove her point, she let her mind brush his, letting him feel her slight disappointment as well as the location of the nearest guard who was standing at the end of the hallway. Two more were posted further ahead of the first, guarding a room where another individual was staying. Hrist withdrew and narrowed her eyes at him.

“I know one need not to rely on the Force all the time, but use it when you could. When it sways in your favour.” She stepped out of the hall, already reaching out through the Force to overpower the nearest guard's mind and bend it to her will. “And we have no need to hurry. The target will give us all the time in the world.”

Gesturing for her student to follow, Hrist's mind touched his once again, letting him feel the same desire for carnage he felt. But she stayed her own and instead brought up another reminder for Xeno. She was sure he would not like it, but Hrist wanted to make sure that any deaths that would occur within the estate would not be tied to the Sith in general. The galaxy didn't need to come to the conclusion that Blackwell Tech rubbed elbows with the Sith should anyone come to the conclusion that the reason Cybot Galatica sold itself to the former was because it was threatened to do so.

“One last reminder, my dear Xeno. Never use your lightsabers if you want to kill someone so badly tonight.”

The guard at the end of the hallway was now staring blankly ahead as the two Sith approached. Footsteps sounded from an adjacent hall and before the new approaching guard could speak Hrist's hand shot up and lifted the man off the ground with a powerful Force Choke, the sound of cracking bones finally pulling a smile on the Marauder's lips.

“A reward awaits you if you refrain from cutting anyone open with your lightsabers,” she told the Acolyte, her smile widening a little. Equal parts teasing and sincere she added, “I can be persuaded to give you anything you want after this, but within reason. And if it's something to my liking. So start thinking now.”

Pulling the guard's corpse to her, Hrist's gaze found an empty, hidden guard nook a few steps to her left. Searching the body for a comm and finding none (what the hell kind of a security personnel was this one) she unceremoniously stuffed the body in the guard nook before walking off ahead towards their destination.

Xeno really had much to learn still. The force was a useful gift given to him, and he should be using it a lot more. So as his master had been explaining to him he decided he would use the force when he was given the chance.

He followed his master, who let him feel her disappointment. Right after the feelings of disappointment surged, he sensed the location as well. Of course he could sense it, his master gave it to him through the force. The Zabrak continued down the hallway and witnessed what his master was teaching him as she lifted a man in the air using the force choke. In awe of this Xeno watched. It was quite attractive to see his masters power.

The acolyte listened to what she had to say about a reward. This did intrigue him, but now he needs to be focused and not dare touch his lightsabers. This was going to be quite interesting to see how well Xeno can use his force abilities. “I’m sure I can think of a thing or two..”

The two continued through the room and as Xeno used the force to feel any other life forms nearby he could feel two coming to enter the room they are currently in. Xeno had let the two enter as he shut and locked the door with the force. He could feel the fear of the two men you quickly went to draw their blasters. Xeno had anticipated that, grasping their hands with the force and crushing them. The acolyte used both arms to channel the force as he lifted one man in the air and brought the other to his knees. He began force choking the man held in the air as he though him into the one knelt on the ground. Once he had seen the out come of the two men he walked to them and twisted their heads in a complete 180 degree turn.

“If they weren’t dead before, they are now.” He went on to say. “Looks like this one has the comm you’re looking for my mater. Although it seems to have broke upon the impact of the ground.” The Zabrak disappointed himself.

She could feel that they were closing in on their target as no other opposition blocked their path. Hrist let Xeno do as he pleased with the two guards, only glancing towards him when she heard the familiar sound of snapping bones. Remnants of fear hung in the air as life fled from her student's victims. She smiled.

The disappointment she felt from the Acolyte surprised her a little. It seemed that she had created a little misunderstanding. She was looking for comms, yes, but only to make sure that any other guard wouldn't get wind of having intruders in their employer's estate. She sailed across the room towards him, one gloved hand patting him on the cheek with as much affection as she could imitate from her father.

"Don't mind that now. You did nothing wrong, sweetheart," she assured him with a nod before pulling herself away. There was another room at the other end of the room, and Hrist extended her senses through the Force once again. From the other side of the door she could feel a hint of curiosity. Footsteps followed, the door sliding open to reveal Jaskier Meridna, wearing a suit and a quizzical question on his surprisingly youthful face. The man looked young, ambitious, and possessive of what he owned. Perhaps those were simply a few reasons why he refused to sell Cybot Galactica to Blackwell Tech.

A wicked smile crossed Hrist's face. Men like Meridna were her type – certainly not in the romantic or sexual sense. It always entertained her to see ambitious men meet their downfall and tonight she and her student would make sure that Meridna would not be getting up tonight nor for the foreseeable future. Figuratively, that is.

"Who the hell are you?" the CEO of Cybot Galactica asked rather brusquely, but the fear in his eyes spoke loud enough that he was just trying to maintain a sense of bravado, though false it might be. "How did you get in–"

Hrist lifted a hand to shut the man up, the Force wrapping around him in a stasis. She then Pushed him back into the room he came from, following right after him. Meridna lay crumpled on the carpeted floor, still unable to move and the only thing he could do was to gaze up at Hrist and Xeno with a wild, horrified expression.

"Good evening, Mr Meridna," the Marauder greeted him with a curtsy. She wanted to crush his skull beneath her foot, but she wouldn't gloss over being polite. It was one of the many things Father taught her, after all. She was a good girl, and a respectful lady at that – albeit an unstable, bloodthirsty one. "Perhaps you could spare me and my dear student a bit of your time? I know you're a very busy man, but we really need to discuss with you a matter of great import."

With a flick of her hand the CEO was hauled up onto his feet by an invisible force. Hrist floated the man towards a plush armchair by a fireplace and pushed him down to sit. Pulling one chair towards her, the Marauder sat down and motioned for Xeno to take his place beside Meridna. With a predatory grin, she shifted her focus to Xeno while still binding Meridna to his seat with the Force.

"Xeno. You know what to do."

It was once again quite the sight. His master using the force at such eloquent speed and power. She was very subtle with her approach. The acolyte could feel a sense of Good cop Bad cop goin to play out.

The man named Meridna sat in a chair pinned down by the force. Xeno was eager to rip him apart but he awaited his orders. Just then he was sent to his side and like music to his ears he heard her words. Xeno smirked as he looked down to this puny man.

“She may be polite, but I’m not so nice.” Xeno then drew back his fist and sent flying across the mans face. Xeno ripped the tie of the mans neck and tore his shirt open. “Now anything she asks you answer! If not I get to have a lot more fun. Do you understand?” Then man spat at Xeno. The Zabrak became enraged by the disrespect. Then Xeno’s eyes began glowing with yellow and red. “Get bent you horned frea-“ and then the acolyte struck the man again. Xeno grabbed the man’s left arm and twisted it to a point where it’s not broken but in a serious amount of pain.

“I believe he might talk now” Xeno looked down to the man. “If not, guess we’ll find out how flexible he is.”

Her dear student was eager to please – too eager, of she was to be honest and yet Hrist did not complain. Having someone serve her was an experience she still wasn't used with and, as far as she was concerned, Xeno's enthusiasm remained amusing rather than grating.

The Marauder leaned back on her seat and crossed her legs, head tilted to the side as she regarded Meridna with a malicious smirk. It vanished, however, when the man blatantly showed disrespect to her student. Her jaw clenched with unexpected anger. Did that mean something? To be angry in someone else's stead?

Curious.

She filed the thought away for further investigation for much later. The sentiment reminded her of an ex-Jedi she was supposed to be supervising, but she shook the image of Algus off of her mind. Instead she focused on the display before her, the anger on her face melting into a blank expression as Xeno twisted Meridna's arm.

"This won't be fun if he talks too soon," she told the Acolyte, her thoughts brushing against his own, ruby eyes locked on Meridna's pained expression. Then, out loud, she continued, "But I guess he deserves to know why we invited ourselves in."

"If it's credits you want, I can give you plenty," the CEO snarled through gritted teeth, face twisted in mounting agony as his left arm remained under Xeno's mercy. Blood beaded on the man's split lip. "Or were you sent to kill me? Whoever paid you, I can double the price if you turn against them instead."

One perfect brow raised at the seemingly generous offer. Hrist's gaze remained on Meridna, unmoving until the man was the first to look away, quite possibly creeped out by her emotionless staring.

"Is that why you think we're here?" she asked back, faking curiosity as she folded her hands on her lap. "You would be nothing but a corpse by now if me and my dear Xeno were here to kill you." The corners of her lips slowly turned upwards in a charming but sinister smile. "If you're going to make an assumption, at least make an intelligent one."

Meridna had the gall to grin and scoff at the Marauder. "Trying to play smart, aren't you, woman?" he shot back rather condescendingly.

"I am not trying, Mr Meridna." Hrist's smile widened. "I want you to do something for me." She leaned forward, elbows resting on her thighs as she rested her chin on the back of one hand, the other pointing a finger at the CEO. "Sell Cybot Galactica to Blackwell. Simple, isn't it?"

The man grimaced then scoffed again.

"So this is how they choose to play, huh?" Meridna mused. "They answer my refusal with threats to my person." He tutted, glaring at Xeno over his shoulder before shooting Hrist a disdainful look. "Go back to your boss and tell them I'm not selling. Over my dead body, you karking witch."

The acolyte had enough of this man’s disrespectful attitude tow his master and himself. Xeno snapped the mans arm at the elbow and folded it backwards while he smiled in the mans face.

“Wrong answer.” Xeno laughed as he swung his knee to the mans face making contact with his nose, causing it to break on impact. “Now maybe we should try this again? Sell to Blackwell and you’ll leave with all of your limbs.” The acolyte was ready for more torture if he denied him.

“How about you go screw yourselves!” Meridna let out a laugh after his comment. So did Xeno. When Meridna noticed Xeno’s evil laugh he immediately wiped the smug look off his face. He knew that he had just caused more pain for himself.

He is a tough one, I’ll give him that. The comment sent through the force to his master. Xeno slowly walked over to the right side of Meridna and grabbed his right leg and began twisting the ankle. “It’d be a shame to lose the ability to walk wouldn’t it?”

"Kes you" the CEO said to Xeno, in pained defiance, even in under violent duress, the the Cybot Galactica leader would endure his hardship. He knew that being a CEO in Corporate Sector space had it's advantages as well as disadvantages. Those disadvantages involve being a target for others, corporate or personal. Many people in the corporate realm wished to see him go down, and the CEO had to be able to thrive in a cutthroat environment to get where he is today, even if that involves wronging people.

Newton was on the property of the Meridna estate, he had been on some time, monitoring the situation from afar. This is one of the three contracts he put out to bring Cybot Galactica to it's knees, but this one involves the least amount of risk of getting shot, unlike the others. Yet this one is probably the most delicate of them, hence he wants to be close. Just in case, Newton can be paranoid like that. Newton made his way onto the estate, dressed like a servant. Infiltrating like this is kind of risky and he kept his wits about him, but the 'lapses' in security caused by the two contractors he hired made it easier to sneak in. After that, it's a matter of looking like you belong.

He would then find the room the CEO was being held up in. He would nod at the two contractors, letting them know that he is on their side. Newton would then walk behind the CEO as he was pinned, making sure Meridna won't be able to see his face in the process

He would then put his hands on the Meridna's shoulders in a cold manner. He would then say this to the CEO. "Hello there Mr. Meridna. I see that you are in a bad predicament. I know that you are set on protecting your company, even when threatened with grevious harm. Butfor your own sake you should make it easy for yourself."

Newton would then pause. "If you sell, you will walk away from without further harm. You will make a profit while Cybot Galactica will be in good hands. You can retire, go on vacations wherever you want in the galaxy, enjoy the easy life on all the resort worlds that come to mind."

"If you continue to resist however, you are only making it harder for yourself. I will no longer be able to guarantee your safety. I'll let these people do as they please to you"
Newton would look to the Sith.

"So think about it, will you sell your company, be retire rich and wealthy, as well as healthy. Or you could be a cripple for the rest of your life, or put in coma. Or worse... dead maybe if something goes wrong." Newton would look at the Sith again, then back to the CEO. Planting that the possibility of death is on the table if the CEO is too sturborn or if the Sith get a bit over zealous. Either way. "Consider your options, carefully. You can can either live on the high life guaranteed with no worries, or live a painful, broken life best case if you resist. I pose this question to you, is Cybot Galactica worth it to you, to be subjected to this?" Newton would give the options to the CEO.

Xeno listened to the Blackwell suiter speak his words. He would admit that Newton was a great speaker. His words were sharp like a blade but delicate as glass. The acolyte kept his grip upon Meridnas leg awaiting his answer. Hoping for him to defy once more.

“The day I sell to Blackwell is the day that Droids grow flesh.” A fire grew inside of Xeno as he listened to the defiance continue. “You really are foolish Meridna, and now you will pay the price.” Immediately Xeno snapped the ankle within his grasp. He then moved up to the mans knee. Sending a forceful blow with his elbow into the mans knee Xeno broke it almost in two. After he destroyed the mans leg he laughed as the cries of pain from Meridna grew. This is exactly what Xeno lived for. He loves to hear the pain of the people against him.

After Meridna stopped his pathetic screaming Xeno looked to him and said “Well now you might not walk properly ever again. Are you happy? Wait.. don’t answer that. We both I don’t care.” Pacing back and forth in front of the business man he looked to Newton and then back down to Meridna. “Perhaps you’re willing to sell?” Meridna looked to Xeno and yelled “Kes you! This is my life!” Xeno stopped and looked to the man as he smiled. “Pathetic to place your entire life into a single company. Maybe you truly aren’t a man. Maybe you’re nothing but rubbish.” Xeno grabbed the mans right hand. Then began breaking his fingers one by one. Stopping at the mans thumb he looked back “I will continue to break every bone in your pathetic body if you choose to defy me once again!” The acolyte yelled thunderously. He stood awaiting the answers of the corpo as he looked to Newton in assurance that the man is breaking or dying soon.

Newton wasn't a fan of torture like this, but it had it's uses, and he really wasn't bothered by the suffering inflicted to him by the contractors. He doesn't play around though although it does seem like he gets off on it. When Xeno was taking a break, the CEO's veneer of resolute was falling apart, Newton picked up on it. Phyiscally injured, the CEO was becoming a mental wreck as well. Newton can pick up on it, the body language, the groans of pains, the fear .etc

The Blackwell employee behind Meridna would then add more to what he said before "Your bravado does you no favors, it's actually making things worse. It's best to quit now while you are still ahead" the CEO was unable to respond, terrorized, as he knows that the contractors show no qualms in making good on their threats, and the torture applied to him already.

The manager would then look at the Sith. "I think he's had enough" Newton can see. Although it would be good to force him to sell right here, right now, the mission objective here was to make a 'lasting impression'. With the other missions his contractors are taking out, Cybot's fall will be assured when they are completed. Not only will Cybot be purchased from Blackwell, Cybot's value will be driven down to a low amount. When it happens, everything will fall down at once. Now that the lasting impression is made, the CEO will be very much inclined to sell. With the other factors, In the end, Blackwell will come out on top. He'd hate to have to interrupt the contractor's fun, but all good things must come to an end eventually

"Blackwell will be in touch with you in good time. I trust you know what choice to make" the CEO would then fearfully nod his head rapidly, Newton would pat his shoulder, in a faux-friendly manner before taking his leave.

Newton would then check the hall ways left and right, and then gesture the contractors they can leave. "You both have done well today. You both will be compensated as agreed on." Newton would present the credit chips to the two Sith, for a good amount. Looking at the CEO, he's about to pass out

The acolyte looked to his master as they agreed to take their leave. It was fun to torture the man but of course he knew it wouldn’t last for long. This was Xeno’s first true mission and he succeeded on his doings. It looked to be that he pleased the likes of the Blackwell manager. Assuredly this will create a good alliance between them and the Sith.

“Pleasure doing business.” Xeno would say as he took his payment and looked down the hall to assure the coast is clear. The acolyte began down the hall way with his master and eventually out of the estate. The sights of the planet were quite decent. A days work done. Making the acolyte proud of his doing and the Sith live up to reputation. Not everyday you get tackle work like this. Something about torture really made Xeno happy.

The two Sith arrive at Hrists Ship and entered. After setting the coordinates for home they began flying out of the atmosphere. Once breaking the ozone they pull the vessel into hyperdrive and go about their day. A job complete. A job well done most would say. A business made happy.
