And then suddenly the area disappeared and the training room appeared.

Quentell stood there in the middle of the room. The thug and the girl were gone.

"Well done." he said. "You succesfully used Force Lightning. How did the Dark Side make you feel?"

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden was shaky on the question. He didn't really get used to it, but it didn't mean he didn't like it. "Okay" he replied to the question. He was hesitant though.

 

[D.C.]

"That's probably the most perfect answer I've ever heard from a student." Quentell said. "You're feeling okay? Then that means that the Dark Side didn't have much impact on you, am I right? If so, then you are able to control it, without having it controlling you."

"Do you have any questions? If so, now is the time to ask them before we continue."

 

[FaMiLy]

"No, I want to continue to train again." Raiden said, "Wait, wait! Actually, what else am I going to learn? I want to know so I can concentrate on it in the time to come."

 

[D.C.]

"I will not tell you what tasks you will be given. In the real world out there, you won't know what you'll face either."

Quentell walked over to a control panel on the wall and typed in a code. A door next to the panel slid open and a dummy appeared.

"This dummy is here to train offensive Force Powers on, like Lightning or Grip. I'll give you a demonstration of a very powerful wave of lightning."

The Shade Knight took a few passes back and stretched out his right arm. He aimed with his hand and suddenly a wave of blue Force Lightning was unleashed from his palm. It struck the dummy and the lightning danced around it. It was very high voltage and very lethal, but the dummy could take it. Slowly the lightning disappeared and Quentell lowered his arm. He looked over to Raiden and said: "Try to use Grip on it. Concentrate on the target and use the Force to 'choke' it. Of course this is not a living target, but it works the same. Tap into your anger and hatred, but keep in control of it! Don't let it take over! Then command the Force to choke this dummy."

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden seemed motionless for a few seconds, he was streaming into the course of hatred.
But he controlled it, he motioned his hand our wards and grabbed onto the dummy's neck through the force. He pulled the dummy slightly into the air, and he squeezed his hand beginning to choke the dummy.

 

[D.C.]

Quentell watched and he was satisfied by the result. "You are learning quick, Raiden." he said. "Very good. You now know how to use Grip and Lightning, two very lethal Force Powers."

He then walked over to the control panel, after Raiden had released the dummy, and he typed in the code. The doors slid closed and so the dummy was hidden behind the doors and out of sight. "Now, we'll move on to the next objective. We will perfect your saberform."

Quentell walked towards a chest in the corner of the room and opened it up. Inside were serveral training lightsaber and he pulled two out. He tossed one over to Raiden and ignited the saber he kept. A blue blade appeared.

"Alright." He said. "We will use trainingsabers for now. I will try to teach you Juyo."

He showed Raiden the moves and Raiden had to mimic them, so he would learning the moves.

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden grasped onto his training saber and ignited it, a orange blade flung out. He followed his Master's moves and did them as he did. He wanted to keep on the "perfect" level and learn quickly. He wanted to be successful.

 

[D.C.]

After training for about two hours, Quentell saw that Raiden was learning the form.

"Now, I think we've done enough training against imaginary enemies. How about a sparring match. I will use my own form and you will use Juyo against my Shien/Djem So form. We will use these training sabers. Let's see what you can do."

He raised his saber high above his head and so he took the Djem So opening stance. He awaited for Raiden to open the duel with a strike, for he was the one with the offensive form.

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden assigned himself into his Juyo form and raised his saber around to his side, he rushed to his master using force speed he pushed off the ground and delivered a high blow to his head, then spun around past the back side of Quentell striking to his knee area.

He pushed backwards hoping to avoid any thrust from Quentell

Quentell blocked the strike that came for his head and quickly turned around to block the strike that was aimed for his knees. He then stepped forward and launched a fast but powerful strike to Raiden's left shoulder.

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden moved his saber in time to block the shot, he then thrust his fist into the side of his Master's hip and raced over to his other side with the saber slinging around towards his head. He realized it would be blocked so he swung it low and went down into his knee again.

 

[D.C.]

Quentell got hit by the punch but he quickly established himself and could block Raiden's blow.

The Shade Knight then reached out his left hand, still holding the saber with his right, and he sent a powerful Force Push at Raiden. After the Push, not waiting to see if it worked, he leapt into the air and raised his saber. As he came down he smashed it down, delivering an overhand powerblow.

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden viciously fell backwards and onto his back, as his master came down with the blow he blocked the saber with his own, and kicked his master back. After that he reestablished himself and waited for the next strike. He was in defensive mode now.

 

[D.C.]

"Don't!" Quentell said. "Get up and stay offensive! Keep on striking and stay agressive! But stay in control!"

He stepped back allowing his apprentice to stand up. In a real fight, Raiden would be defeated by now, as the attacker would not step back but keep on striking until Raiden would be beaten.

"When a similar situation occurs, try to Force Push your attacker off you so you can get up and recover and then utilize Juyo again. Now let's continue this match."

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden nodded, and ran after his master, he forced jumped over him swinging his saber at his head while he was in the air. Finally as he landed he force pushed his master away from him. Then he continued to run after him waiting to use a big blow.

 

[D.C.]

Quentell could block the attack when Raiden leapt into the air, but he was too late to do anything about that Force Push.

He fell over and dropped his training saber. Then Raiden ran over to him to strike, but just before he did, Quentell Force Pulled the training lightsaber back to his, ignited it again, and quickly block the attack using a little bit Force Speed. He then rolled aside and jumped up, quickly recovering and then launching another attack towards Raiden's right shoulder.

"Good move!" he called just before he swung his lightsaber towards Raiden.

 

[FaMiLy]

Raiden quickly blocked the attack swinging around with his saber and he swung it down at
Quentell's hip. He turned then once more and struck over towards the other hip. It was a quick move, afterwards he force pushed the master back and ran after him using force speed. He motivated himself to the side of his master and flung his saber towards his head.

 

[D.C.]

Quentell used Force Speed and dodged the slash, after he got Force Pushed again. He leapt into the air and landed just behind Raiden and he struck his padawan's back with a quick powerful slash. If he was using a real saber the slash would be very lethal.

Raiden fell onto his one knee. He turned around and looked at his master. "Ah... you got me master." he smiled.
