Hello everyone!
To be perfectly honest, I was not initially looking for a roleplay forum like this. However, my interest was piqued when @Vosrik (my twin) brought this forum to my attention, and I've been thoroughly impressed and intrigued.
I first started roleplaying on a Warhammer 40,000 forum, after which I moved on to roleplay (in small amounts) on multiple online games, such as Guild Wars 2, TERA, SWTOR, Minecraft, Spiral Knights, and Terraria. Most of my experience in roleplay is from playing Starbound. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to play traditional roleplaying games, like Dungeons and Dragons.
Like Vosrik, my knowledge of the Star Wars universe is vastly less than what I would like it to be. I haven't read any books beyond those from the Star Wars films, although I've recently started researching a great deal more about the universe.
I'm actually quite glad that there is a bit of a waiting period for the new timeline, because that gives me time to finalize the ideas for my characters.
So, overall, this experience is going to be a big learning opportunity, if nothing else. I definitely hope to have some fun along the way as well.
