The TIE starfighter exercise had come to an end and the Marauder was glad to be coming back into the Sith base. There were some older surplus and mothballed designs found that Wiley had advocated on keeping rather than scrapping. On his arrival to Malastare he knew some of it was a bit outdated but still useful designs if put in the right hands. There was no point in good ordnance going to waste. Then again, the Starblade he had been allowed to test fly a few times seemed like a completely different creature. Coming towards the hangar bay his ship was easily nestled into its place by the time Wiley was already practically hopping out of it. Today he was dressed in the same low profile garb as he had recently adopted for ground work since the exercise had only been in atmosphere and he knew what the rest of the day could hold.

Malastare had always been a place the man had wanted to visit for some time. This was true since the first time he saw a pod race recording onboard among of the Ossein fleets. Those days were long gone and he was happy to be in the service of the Sith Order. Life couldn't have happened any other way. This was destiny unfolding and now he was meeting with Darth Malicia. This was the first time he was meeting her directly and if she was anything like Darth Kravos, he felt both excited and a bit afraid.

Grinning with confidence all the same, he made his way to the meeting as he passed by others. Most people didn't seem happy and plenty had resting-bantha-face but Wiley smile didn't seem diminished in the workplace. The man looked like a jackal ready to holler at a moments notice in most cases. Well of course luv, gotta offset this bloody drab mood round here. Or something to that effect was usually said. Truth be told he took pleasure in power as well as the recognition of it. Holding the attention of others, be it through entertainment, fear, respect, or want, it had always made him feel good. Now with the attention of a Sith Lord, things were looking up for Wiley Winnz.

It'd been a few days since she'd slept. Most of the days she'd spent in her office, which was where she was now, catching up on reports from her cultists labelled as important. She'd have to speak to some of her cultist commanders about what she considered important, even though she'd given them her opinion and orders on everything. Some of it they didn't need her input on.

Over her head she had her hood, and her mask hissed as she breathed in deeply when one of her cultists at her door spoke up. "Wiley Winns is here," he spoke up.

The Sith Council member looked up, allowing her cold gaze to drift to the door. Her cultist knew Malicia well enough that he pressed the control on the door to open it and let the marauder in. She'd agreed to hear him speak because he'd been involved in a handful of successful battles.

Wiley didn't walk in until the doors were finished moving. Actually, he remembered technically coming across the Sith Lord after Sullust. It wasn't a noteworthy interaction so there was no point bringing it up. The man had ended up being pretty drunk later that night anyways so that was likely why he was only just recalling it now.

"Darth Malicia, thank you for granting me an audience." He bowed a little and made his way into the office. Wiley's eyes looked around the room and its shadowy corners, noting the cultists in the room. Returning his gaze to his superior the man could tell that there was a different type of danger that radiated from the woman than the other Darths he had come across. I remember that. Of course she hadn't been a member of the Sith Council at the time. Yeah, gotta remember that.

Stopping before her, Wiley cleared his throat a little before speaking again. Start with a compliment. "You look as intimidating as ever." It helped that the compliment was true. "I was hoping to talk to you today about taking the Anoat sector for the Sith Order."

The man knew a few things about space travel and plying the void as a lifestyle. The expanses between the stars and the great emptiness was what Wiley called home. "And then maybe if you have time, the Corellian Trade Spine."

Malicia's expression remained cold and unwaveringly forward. Her eyes were nearly voids, though the Darth was still there. Maybe she'd appear uninterested but she was thinking about it. To someone who paid close attention to her, they'd know what her hangup was. The Anoat sector. Despite the usefulness of it in general.

The Darth remained quiet for a few seconds before answering, "I usually operate around Old Sith space." She was fully aware that that wasn't the answer he was looking for.

Whatever he expected, it didn't really matter, she still left the floor open to him to speak, at least. There were plenty of avenues left for the man. He could explain why she should lend him men, or simply lay out his plans if he thought they were good enough to convince her or perhaps even change his plans to better line up with her. He had her interest, for the moment.

The man didn't have a map at his disposal. In hindsight it would have been better to have brought one. Hearing Darth Malicia's response made Wiley nod his head a little. "Of course....and yet you're here on Malastare. Which tells me that you still value important assets."

"The Biox Detour connects Malastare with the Rimma Trade Route thanks to the position of Kafrene."
There was also the matter of the independent system Takodana but they were not as likely to pose a threat given Wiley's estimations. "Malastare is already on the Hydian Way, one of the galaxy's largest trade routes, Lady Malicia. The same could be said for the Rimma Trade Route where Sullust resides." Now he really wished he had a map.

Eriadu and Malastare were already strongholds for the Sith Order on the Hydian way. Sullust was on the Rimma Trade route and had already fended off a Jedi assualt. The following days had seen Eiattu and other nearby systems being moved on. That part was fine and needed doing. Darknell was being moved on too which would benefit the order greatly but Wiley thought it best to grab something bigger."The Anoat system is to Sullust as Kafrene is to Malastare, only it connects the Rimma Trade Spine to Corellian Trade route rather than to the Hydian way."

"With both of Biox Detour and
Incisor Sidestep, we would solidify the our presence in the galactic south the likes of which haven't been seen since the Galactic Empire." The Marauder let it hang in the air. That was the potential reward for taking two systems. Essentially all traffic passing from the core to the outer rim would have to go through Sith space at some point on any of the major trade routes and be under the woman's control in turn as a result. But he waited to see what the Sith Council member had to say or any questions she posed him.
