Rattatak, a barren mountainous and dusty world that held such potential for resource mining and trade partnering with the neighbouring planets - had it not been for one key problem. It was often ruled by Warlords, for as long as memory and perhaps even recent records could tell this had been the case. That was until recently, where the planet had fallen into an uneasy state of unrest among the populace.

Dropping out of hyperspace, a YZ-775 medium transport, escorted by a flight of two U wings, all decorated in the markings and colours of the Bakuran planetary security force adjusted their trajectory in preparation for making the breach into the planet's atmosphere. Within the onboard briefing room the blonde Sith Lord, looked over her data slab for a brief moment, before reaching over for the chamber's lighting controls and diming the lighting levels so that the holonet screen could be clearly seen. Static flashed up on the screen for a moment as she started to stream several images and short videos that had been brought to the woman's attention.

"To continue on, our purpose here is to extend a hand to our planetary neighbours. Whilst historically in the past Bakura has kept contact with Rattatak to a cautious minimum, owing to the nature of their governance, under the rule of Warlords" Alyse spoke out as she returned her attention towards the gathered diplomatic envoys and the heads of security that had been brought onboard, before her gaze shifted over to her side to regard the blonde silver eyed figure of Emryc. "This had been the status quo for as long as any of us could claim to remember, up until the recent past months when this occurred" she continued, pausing to direct the room's attention to the holonet screen, where an orange haired female with various cybernetic implants could be seen on the screen bludgeoning a muscular Quarren over the head and back with an archaic looking shield.

"Information as to who this person is or where she had since gone to is speculative at best, however what our intelligence has gathered is that the Quarren was Warlord Bok, the current ruler of the planet at the time, who had got goaded into fighting in a gladiatorial event, by this individual and her associates" The Governor continued, before cycling through the images and footage clips to show the red headed figure seemingly and effortlessly jumping between the various platforms of the arena with an agility that was unnatural for those not gifted with the Force. "As you are all aware, our guest here has raised a well rooted and clearly founded concern towards these Force Using Jedi terrorists disrupting the status quo of planets. Their meddling has left Rattatak in a state of civil unrest, the majority of it's denizens are trying to adopt the rule of democracy, whilst small fractions are vying to lay claim to power through their more traditional means" she added, whilst briefly gesturing to her fellow Sith beside her before calling up the latest footage showing a mixture of civil unrest, clashes and shoot outs in the middle of a Rattatak City street.

"We all know, that being on the fringe worlds of the Outer rim, the Free World Alliance is slow to react or even show care. As it has been evidenced by their inaction and unwillingness to lend assistance to the string of attacks on our trade convoys" she spoke out after brief murmurs could be heard among the gathered dignitaries. "If the Alliance Senate is unwilling to assist, then it is down to us to be the ones to be that driving force for Change, and take the lead to support our planetary neighbours, afterall if we cannot rely on the FWA for assistance then who can we seek aid from?" Alyse rounded off, before her gaze briefly flicked up to the chronometer, her eyes narrowing as she briefly pursed her lips in thought figuring that there would be just a short while until the Bakuran Envoy ships touched down on the planets surface.

"We have about ten minutes until we touch down, So feel free to get yourselves ready, Please remain if you have any further questions?" Alyse conclulded as she powered off the holoscreen and gradually returned the conference room's lighting back to its normal state.

Emryc hadn’t worked with Ceryx before, but she had carved a path for herself among the Sith. He liked how she operated - independently and without making too much of a fuss. She had quickly climbed the ranks and had installed herself into a position of power on Bakura. The two had connected shortly after Emryc made his Holo address. Invitations to meet had been pouring in, but Ceryx piqued his interest the most.

Silver eyes took in sight of the videos, watching the woman completely unleashing on the warlord. Emryc was dressed in fashionable civilian attire - he wasn’t playing the role of Sith today. This also meant that he had to be accompanied by others for protection and feign the inability for combat.

Ceryx laid out the mission brief and Emryc kept his gaze on the videos. By the end of it, he was impressed with how thorough she had been. The half sephi turned to look at her, considering his words. He had a fake nervous look on his face to sell it to the other diplomats gathered.

“Have any quarantine or lockdown measures been taken? This person is at large and a threat to the general public until she’s found,” He looked at the Holo again, “Our position when we arrive needs to be the people’s safety first, investigating the incident second.”

Emryc had little else to add until they landed. He had never been to this planet before, but he eased into his new political role quickly enough.

Today was a glorious day in the life of the young Acolyte, and one that many potential Sith yearned for -- their first real task. It was a moment to prove himself to his Master and to himself on the skills he had learned in the Academy. There were no doubts that she would not be monitoring his progress and his reactions to the day's events.

Though Davin did not know much about his Master, he had learned that she managed to run operations mostly independent from the large Sith infrastructure. What little talks he had with her had proven that she had intellect and an affinity for cunning deception.

It was only rational to assume that this first mission would not be that of a typical Sith Ordeal, there was no black robes and a blatant display of red sabers to be had. This was a con-game, and a long one at that. Most Sith sought simple destruction and mindless pleasure, but the real work was always done behind the shadows.

Dressed in a simple security uniform and helmet, Davin carried a blaster rifle and a vibrosword was planted along his back. His saber had been left behind for this venture, and it left him exposed and naked. The plan or the meaning behind the mission was unknown to the Apprentice, his job was to simply blend in. Blasters, such a crude weapon.

Pursing her lips in thought, as the blonde female turned her attention towards the half Sephi representative and face for of the drive for planetary independence. The fellow Sith come proxy politician had raised a rather curious comment with regards to the measures that had or would be taken regarding the at large Force wielding terrorist. A light resigned sigh escaped the Governor's lips as she slightly lowered her head. "Regrettably the Bakuran Security Force's are lacking in appropriate means to properly capture and detain these Force Wielding Menaces" Alyse spoke, as she raised her gaze back up, firstly meeting Emryc's gaze and then that of those who had remained within the briefing room.

"However, our security detail has been armed with stun weaponry, and some aboard the troop transports do carry incendiary based weapons. Articles that I have been informed have been proven effective when deployed prior to the founding of the Galactic Empire when the Jedi staged an insurrection against the Republic Senate" the blonde continued, offering a faint attempt at a reassuring smile towards the dignitaries that were gathered in the room, before taking a deep breath, as if she was drawing upon some air of determination and resolve. "However, whether this terrorist is still at large, or has long since fled. We have made too many compromises already with the Jedi, they invade our space and we fall back, they assimilate themselves into and take over our worlds and we stand idly by" the governor spoke, her voice and facial features becoming almost steely with an air of purpose. "Not again, the line must be drawn here, this time and no further. If they wish to wage their senseless wars on our worlds. Then we will make them pay" she concluded, before taking a step back away from the desk.

Her chestnut hued gaze, scanning over the various nods from those who remained, before her attention was shifted towards the ship wide PA system, as it gave indication that they were about to commence their landing approach. "Now, let us help our neighbours and bring them into our protection and care" Ceryx concluded, before finally dismissing the room. Setting aside and placing her dataslab down onto the Desk and making her way towards the ship's boarding ramp, accompanied by Emryc, and their security detail lead by her latest student, Davin.

As the Transport finally settled down on it's landing position, and the loading ramp started to lower itself. Ceryx could for the first time take in the sight of the barren and dusty looking world for herself in person, it was a world far removed from civilised worlds she had often tread, but that will change. Stepping down the ramp, the blonde cast a gaze over to the sides of the transport as the accompanying U wings opened up and the rest of the security detail filled out, and worked to establish a perimeter.

All that was left to do for now was to await the arrival of the leaders of this fledgling democracy, so to offer the hand of support and aid to bring peace to this world.

Emryc listened as Ceryx continued her inspiring words. When she mentioned about how the line needed to be drawn and no further, his eyebrows furrowed just a bit. He could have sworn he heard that line from one of his absolute favorite Holomovies. Perhaps not… He was tugged back to reality as the exit ramp opened up, none of his thoughts betrayed on his always stoic face.

They stepped out and were met with a group of people. There was a tall Dathomirian woman waiting for them. She eyed the two men that strode out with Ceryx with mild distrust before flashing her eyes to the Governor.

“Greetings, Governor,” She said politely, “I am Kinara Dil and I am representing Warlord Bok today on account of him still being in the medical bay,” She said with a grimace. The woman began to lead the way towards a building just ahead of them, “The people here are restless and we have had no help. I have advised Bok many times that we needed to have a hardline approach to avoid incidents like these, but he hasn’t exactly been a man of action,” She paused and looked at the trio for a moment, “Forgive me, it is not prudent to speak ill like that.”

She walked the rest of the way in silence, her feelings on the matter very clear. Emryc glanced over at Ceryx briefly. Whatever position this woman held, she sounded far more amenable to changes from the status quo. He wondered if Ceryx arrived at the same conclusion.

Davin stepped down into the dusty world, his finger resting along the safety of the blaster as his head shifted left and right. There was nothing particularly interesting about this place, it was backwater and seemed to be barely scraping by as is. Raising his right hand, he would motion the troops exiting the other U-Wings to form a VIP like security detail.

Quickly the security forces would position themselves around the Sith Diplomats with Davin taking a stance to the side of the two of them. His eyes focused on the area them as the group spoke, his eyes hidden behind the visor of his helmet. "Keep a lookout, watch for anything out of the ordinary." He would channel through the helmet's internal comms unit.

If anything was going to go down, Davin wanted to make sure he was prepared and ready to handle it.

Nodding in a respectful greeting to the Dathomirian, who introduced herself as the hospitalised Warlord's representative, before listening in silence as the woman began to give them a run down on the current events and the turmoil that had gripped the planet in the wake of the unknown Jedi assailant. Her brow furrowing as she sensed the unease surrounding the Dathomir's outspoken stance against the disgraced War Lord, her gaze shifting over to meet Emryc's gaze, casting an inquisitive arch of her eyebrow, giving a subtle indication that the planet's plight had peaked her interest.

"There is no transgression to forgive, Kinara Dil" Alyse spoke out, as she adjusted her pace to draw level with the Dathomirian woman. "You may speak your mind freely" she offered, before gesturing her hand towards the surrounding streets, the Sith Lord's gaze doing likewise, taking in the state that many of the denizens had been reduced to, dishevelled, lost and clearly at unease over the uncertainty that their daily lives were presently in. "After all, if a world is to grow, then it would need leadership that is willing to speak their mind in matters regarding the safeguarding of those under their care" she added, casting the Dathomirian with a reassuring smile.

For a silent moment, the blonde Sith's gaze fell on the path ahead of her, lips pursing with a contemplative expression as she mulled over her thoughts and words. "Perhaps it is War Lord Bok, should be the one to seek forgiveness for failing this world. Keeping his borders closed to neighbouring planets, choosing only a path of planetary isolationism for his own self preservation" Alyse commented, as she came to a standstill, and reaching to place a hand on the Dathomirian woman's arm. "One would say he had invited such actions from this Jedi Terrorist. Knowing that Rattatak would be left to deal with the fall out alone." she added, before cocking her head to the side slightly, eyes narrowing slightly as she regarded the Woman's reaction. "Perhaps, it is time for a change in leadership, in favour of those that would be open to reaching out to worlds that would help ensure the safeguarding and future prosperity of Rattatak"

The Dathomirian pursed her lips at the Governor’s words. She looked around nervously, not used to anyone speaking so boldly. Emryc could read the tenseness, and he knew she would grow defensive. He cut in before that could happen.

“Representative Dil,” He said quietly, “We understand that the citizens of the planet are on edge. Both the Governor and I will not rest until we work with you to find a solution to make the planet safe and gain the confidence of the people once more. While it’s unclear exactly what drives Warlord Bok’s actions, our actions can speak for themselves with the focus being the citizens.”

Emryc glanced over at Ceryx and then back to the Dathomirian, “Then it would follow quite easily that the people would call for a change in leadership if that is to be the outcome.”

The Dathomiran chewed on her lip for a moment, considering the words. She liked the idea of the people calling for the leadership change rather than her attempting a coup of sorts. Her talents lied in diplomacy, not in brute strength. Her gaze lingered on Emryc for a while before she glanced over at Ceryx.

“Where would we start?”

A light sincere smile lingered over her features, as she nodded in agreement and affirmation of Emryc's words, seeking to put the Dathomiri woman's mind at ease. It was useful to have the second opinion and view point to help alleviate the representative's concerns. Knowing all to well that she possessed a frank and direct approach to her political manner, something that she had more than likely taken on from her Father's teachings, or that she was educated within the very same academies that he had been.

Her gaze returned to meet the Dahtomiri as she questioned where they would start. A warm smile curling on her lips as she nodded in response to the question, before opening her arms out and gesturing to their current surroundings. "Right here" Alyse spoke with a light chortle, "Direct engagement with the populace brings them the governance they want. Let their voices be heard here and now, give the Citizens their ability to engage and be heard and change will come peacefully" The governor offered as she turned around to gesture towards the crowd that was starting to form around the visiting envoy.

Turning her attention briefly to the envoy's guard, the Bakuran Governor gestured for them to fan out, and stay their weapons. The guards nodded before fanning out, leaving large enough spaces for the crowd to approach the political envoy, but keeping enough of a vantage point to look over those they were assigned to protect.

"People of Rattatak" Alyse called out, addressing the crowd around them. "I am Governor Ti'Varnus of Bakura, myself and my fellow dignitaries have come here in the wake of a recent terrorist attack, to offer you our support and aid" the Sith lord continued, as she held her hands out to the side, and gesturing to the various representatives that accopanied her. "But we also offer you the opportunity to bring change. We understand that you have long been oppressed by Warlord Bok, a man who would sit back and allow you to all suffer whilst he turns a blind eye to your needs" She continued, as her hands continued to move around in open gestures - whilst subtle and faint strands of the Force emanated out from the Sith lord and into the crowd, reaching out, touching and starting to lure and manipulate the crowd.

"Come and speak with us, let your voices be heard, let us know what you need and what you see should be the way forward to not only improve and safeguard the future of Rattatak, your home. But what would also empower you all to rise from the oppression of the past and these uncertain times. And together we shall work to achieve a better prosperous future for you all" Alyse continued, as she continued to influence the currents of the Force around her, her actions and manipulations so subtle that only those with the level of strength and experience like herself and Emryc could sense.

A wide smile holding over her features as she watched the various faces in the crowd look amongst themselves and then back to the various members of the Bakuran envoy. Looking towards the Dathomiri woman, Alyse nodded and guestured to the masses around them. "Now we engage with your Citizens, Representative Dil" the governor kindly spoke in a guiding manner, before advancing towards the local citizens. Her hand extending out to the closest person, a middle aged female Quarren. "Governor Ti'Varnus, Pleasure to meet you, What would you like to see change? How can we help you?"

@Sreeya OOC: Understand that TWD26 is currently putting his Sithy on the back burner for now, so just gonna be the two of us to wrap it up :D
