Jace Darklighter

Jace Darklighter was a male human pilot from Tatooine. Discovered to be Force sensitive during the battle of Byblos, he was invited to fly with the Jedi and train to become a Jedi himself.
Biography
Born and raised on Tatooine, Jace had no interest and almost no talent for working on his family's moisture farm. What he was good at was flying. Once he was old enough, and had saved up enough to buy himself a ticket off Tatooine as his parents refused to give him a credit to support him if he left the family business, he made his way towards Core. But with what he had he only managed to get as far as Byblos. He enrolled in the planet's military academy, barely passing the written exams but acing the flight simulation tests. During his time in the academy he made a name for himself as a natural in the air, and upon graduation he was one of the few to join the planet's meager defense fleet as an active pilot. In the years that followed he was involved in local and sector level conflicts, pirates, smugglers and the sort. It took him years to shoot down the five enemies that earned him the title of Ace, one of the few on Byblos. So it was when the Sith attacked the planet he was part of the fighters who went up against the Sith forces. His first real conflict of this scale, Jace considered himself lucky to have survived, but the de-briefing after the battle made him realize luck had nothing to do with it. One of the Jedi who had also flown in the battle informed him that he had been unconsciously using the Force while flying. The Jedi offered Jace the opportunity to fly with the Jedi, and in return he would receive training to become a Jedi. While he was indifferent about the Jedi, he had heard stories of the Jedi pilots of old. Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Plo Koon, legends one and all. If what the Jedi said was true then he wanted to see how much Jedi training would improve his flying. So he agreed, resigning his commission and leaving with the Jedi to begin a new chapter of his life.
Personality & Traits
While Jace is no saint, a man of many faults as many of his past flames have pointer out, he is at his core a good man trying to do his best. His one true love is flying, and is never happier than when he is behind the the controls of a ship.
Powers & Abilities
Jace is an ace pilot, capable of flying anything airworthy. As a military man he had basic combat training and is a decent shot. He is also Force sensitive, having unconsciously used the Force to guide himself while flying.
