Jakrev is a intelligent child, if a little stubborn and hotheaded. His medical problem serves a problem however. Being unable to talk he finds it very hard to interact with the other children. He instead spends all his free time studying in the library or in the gym, watching the older students practice martial arts and trying to mimic them. He certainly has a temper, and there is no doubt as to his other senses, in fact I’d find it safe to say that his hearing is above average as more then once he has attacked a student for saying something about him, despite the fact that the offending student was across a crowded room or on the other side of a field.

Jakrev has really thrown himself into physical exercise. He seems to have an insane need to prove himself to everyone else. He spends every amount of free time he has in the gym, learning martial arts, the gym instructors love him, he is always ready to learn and of course…..never talks back. The Kith Sjet Marine recruiter seems to have taken an interest is Jakrev.
Age 17:
Jakrev graduated in the upper twenty percent of his class. He received an immediate invitation to join the Marines of Clan Sjet despite his muteness. Apparently his martial skills, larger size, and intelligence impressed the recruiter enough to overlook his lack of speech. Jakrev immediately accepted, no doubt thinking he could further prove himself to be more then just his medical problem.

Case 490342
Name: Sergeant Jakrev Sorin Kynev Sjet
Sergeant Jakrev stands accused of disobeying a direct order from a senior officer and also stands accused of murdering said officer during a raid on a smuggler base. Defendant pleads not guilty.
Defendant’s case: Sergeant Jakrev submitted his defense in written form due to his inability to talk. In his report he says that his superior officer, Junior Lieutenant Hiltop, was using explosives and napalm to clear rooms, even if the smugglers inside we pleading for mercy and attempting to surrender. Sergeant Jakrev says that in an attempt to stop the junior lietenant he disobeyed a direct order and left his post. He confronted the Junior Lieutenant and in the ensuing struggle Sergeant Jakrev claims he killed Hiltop to preserve his own life.
Ruling: This court finds Sergeant Jakrev guilty of disobeying orders and murder of a superior officer, however due to the extenuating circumstances and the Sergeants previous bravery and excellence he be honorably discharged and not expelled from Kith Sjet. Case closed.
Kith Sjet Civil Guard records
Missing persons report: Jakrev Sorin Kynev Sjet, former sergeant in the Marine Corps and age 24 has been reported missing, landlady says she has not seen him in weeks and he is late on rent. Upon investigation we found his apartment empty of all clothes and travel supplies, he appears to have run away. Investigation closed.
