New Map!
A new map is now in effect for SWRP, that now has the faction territories. You can view the map here. That is also the place to request updates for the map, for example if a faction takes a planet from another faction in battle threads.
Great Treasure Hunt Event Extension
The Great Treasure Hunt event is now being extended, with the end date of the event now being January 31st, giving everyone more time to have fun with their treasure hunts!
Lightsaber Resistant Armor Update
Following some recent questions regarding lightsaber resistant technology, the following has been updated within the technology rules: "Pieces of armor made of phrik, cortosis, or pure beskar are extremely rare, and so only one or two minor components of armor are ever made lightsaber resistant - typical pieces include the gauntlets or pauldrons. Armor made of these materials can fully absorb one strike from a lightsaber, blaster, or melee weapon. Obtaining additional pieces can only be done on a limited basis and in specific site events."

Story Spotlight
After Trys Aran handed herself over, @Talak Rand after finding some leads, then lead an assault on a prison on Sullust, spearheaded by Jedi, as well as others such as Trys' son Crix as well as some Senators. The Eternal personally showed up in defense, commanding a terrifying yet enigmatic presence on the field of battle. The Dark Councilwoman Darth Vyrassu followed him along with many other Marauders.
Although the Jedi forces retreated, Talak and Crix were able to rescue a heavily tortured Trys and killed the Magistrate Phoeya in an explosion on the building. The Eternal was not too worried, as the Magistrate Phoeya would be replaced by her daughter Phoeya II and most importantly...
The Defiling of Ajan Kloss
Grandmaster Oota and along with the Jedi Councilor Sada-Nau lead the defense, buying time for others. Although they heroically stood their ground and fought valiantly, they could not hold out against the Sith onslaught, and before too long, they would fail. It wasn't without cost, as Darth Invictus died. Still, a grievous blow to the Jedi.
That wasn't enough, while the Grandmaster became one with the Force. as @Renfry with a magick ritual cursed the temple with the soul of Sada-Nau. And with her hunger, @Darth Malicia would drain the temple and surrounding area of all life as well tainting it with the Dark Side, leaving the land defiled. They also left with the ancient Grandmaster Wyck's Holocron, along with Oota's own holocron and lightsaber.
Mission to Mandalore Continues!
However that wasn't the end, as a few venture to the former royal palace to homage to their ancestors with an ex-jedi and her droid arrive to find thier Mandalorian crew member. The Mandalorian party and plus company are ambushed by Nagai pirates looting and defiling the palace before the latter slaughtered by the vengeful arrivals and cleansed from their ancestral homeworld.
This incident and subsequent information about the additional pirates’ activity in the system leads to further collaboration.
Currently one group is going after the pirate base on the moon of Concordia while another goes the remaining Nagai brigands still on Mandalore.
State of the Galaxy
After the Judicium of Ajan Kloss, the Jedi would regroup on Yavin IV to process what ha happened, to mourn, and to discuss their future. Hannibal was promoted to Jedi Councilor. And it was from there the Jedi would plot their course of action.
With that, the Jedi would team up with the Sector Rangers to free Kessel from Five Syndicate hands, teaming with the usual partners the Sector Rangers. It will not be easy as the Five Syndicates are rallying members and other allies, with even Sith defending. While that is taking place, the Jedi Order is also taking measures to reach out to the Free Worlds Alliance to get them on their side and gather good will with them.
The dataplague that @Darmus Onn gave to the Eclipse finally paid off, with it giving a ping and revealing his location. It is on Nar Shaddaa, which presents it's own problems. This presents an interesting dilemma for the Sector Ranger, with a number of ways to approach this, but it will be interesting to see how the encounter with the mass murderer responsible for the Courscant Ranger HQ bombing will go.
The Zaa Fenn Crime Family have been rising in power within the Five Syndicates. The Zaa Fenn has it's own agents as well as others to carry out tasks with a plot all with one goal in mind, oust the Gori Xaa Hafven as Crime Lord of the Crymorah Syndicate.
The Sith are only becoming more and more powerful as time passes. The brutal massacre at the Ajan Kloss and the killing of the Jedi Grandmaster cemented this. In addition the Sith, lead by @Darth Malicia, have conquered Malastare, absorbing the planet into their young, renewed empire. With this the Sith continue to gather momentum as they look forward to the next conquest.
