DESCRIPTION​

Jire Xokie, roughly translated as "Flower Mother," is a curved sword of Echani design. It was Force forged in a geothermic forge on Korriban. Due to the metals used in it's forging being old, and the single edged blade, the blade is weakened, and susceptible to chipping and breaking if it is exposed to too much hard blocking, even from lightsabers. The scabbard, made of the same cortosis woven metal, shares the same properties. Due to the bled kyber crystal in the hilt, the blade will give off a faint crimson glow if the Force is channeled through the blade to enhance it, usually only needed when combating lightsabers for an extended time. Constant exposure to lightsabers (such as locking blades together) will eat through the Force imbued protections and the cortosis weaving.

Every part of the sword and scabbard is meant to represent a piece of Param and her life. They were forged to be a weapon pair (one being a blade and the other being a glorious stick), rather than a weapon and its keeper. The black blade is representative of the ruthless edge of the galaxy. The rose guard represents Param's affinity and love for plants. The white, silk wrapped hilt represents her embrace of her Echani heritage. And lastly, the pommel represents her freedom from chains.

INTENT​

To create a sword and scabbard as a weapon pair that was unique to Param. Allows her to have similar efficiency to wielding a lightsaber without the connotations of being a Sith via a bright red blade.

RESTRICTIONS​

If the blade edge is used for blocking there is a good chance it could chip. Enough chips and the sword will break. It can be strengthened using the Force but that requires some concentration and will drain a user's stamina.
