BIOGRAPHY
Joda Tac was born on Corellia in 118 ABY. After dropping out of school she spent her time searching for beats and instrumentals on the Holonet which she used to create her own music. She taught herself to sing, rap and produce music whilst at home without a job, frequently making music and uploading it to the Holonet. One of her songs caught the attention of a record label executive who signed her to their label and publishing company when she was aged 17. Two years later she released a debut album.
After releasing subsequent singles, one of her tracks became a sleeper hit after a dance challenge went viral on the Holonet. The single charted well on the core worlds of Corellia and Coruscant. Her second album was released in 141 ABY but was largely ignored by critics and failed to chart in any market, though in more recent years it made it onto the Corellian album charts. Later that year Joda uploaded a self-produced music video for her song "Mooo!", a novelty song with absurdist lyrics in which she fantasizes about being a Bantha, to the Holonet. The video garnered attention and viral success. Due to popular demand following the music video's viral success, she released a single version.
The following year, Joda released two singles alongside the announcement of her third album. It received generally favourable reviews on release and peaked high on charts across the galaxy. Her fourth single from the album gained wide popularity on the Holonet and resulted in her first top-ten single in the charts on her homeworld of Corellia. She is currently in the middle of touring for this album and has sold out venues in hundreds of systems.
