''Because this is more fun, and i want to know if what i heard about you is true.'' He replied, flashing a fanged grin. ''If you can't tell by my complexion, i'm not suited to sunny areas, so could i have your answer?''

Jenileigh took the datapad and the paper. She read over the paper then looked at the stranger again.

"You've heard of me, but I have never heard of you. I will take it for you"

 

[Will]

Vàli smiled, and nodded. ''I'll see you at the location.'' He stalked off, heading for his ship, the black hull of The Bird of Hermes gleaming in the heat.

 

[Santoro]

Caden simply sat in the booth, refusing to move with the newcomers. He looked at them, and smiled, waiting for them to make the first move.

 

[Cailst]

In the brief lull that had occurred, the arrest hadn't occurred by the hand of the republic officer. Also, Hayvan managed to hear that the man talking to the woman was a pirate. Obviously justice had to be served even if it was a little harsh and semi-hypocritical.

Hayvan then turned to the man professing to be a pirate and pointed his blaster at him. His lightsaber was in his other hand in the pocket.
"You are under arrest for admitting and committing piracy," Hayvan said then turning to the man who was still sitting. "You are still under arrest so get in the slammer!"

ooc: Okay, I'll just finish arresting Caden and then find something else for Hayvan to do after that

Caden laughed, and again made no action to move.

"You still haven't given me good enough of an excuse for an arrest. The day you come up with one is the day I'll come along peacefully." He took another drink of his liquor, and pushed the glass away. He placed a credit chip on the counter, and looked at the Jawa in his path.

"Pardon me."

 

[Cailst]

"I'll take the way that you go in jail, you apparently are stuffing bantha toys with blasters and using that as your way of smuggling, isn't it? You will rot in the slammer so bad that even a Krayt Dragon won't eat you." Hayvan said adding a bit of imagination to his statements as he really wanted to get the guy in jail and was willing to be seen a looney to do so.

 

[Santoro]

Caden rolled his eyes, and stepped around the Jawa.

"Sure pal, keep telling yourself that. You and your vigilante justice doesn't scare me." He headed towards the front door, and winked at a group of Twi'lek dancers as he walked by. He headed towards the starport, assuming the Jawa wasn't stupid enough to try something in the light of day.

 

[Cailst]

The jawa was stupid enough to do something in the light of day.
"It will scare you," He announced.
Moving beyond mere threats, the jawa put out his arm and did a force pull on the man in order to pull him back into the bar.

 

[Santoro]

No stranger to the Force, Caden felt the tug coming, and braced himself against it, leaning into it. At the end of the pull, he stood only half a meter closer, and he drew his pistol, holding it tightly in his fist. He pointed it directly at the Jawa's head, and with his right hand he drew his rapier.

"Don't make me get angry, I'd hate for the bartender to have to clean up your carcass."

 

[Cailst]

"She'll have no mess to clean up as blood cauterizes well." Hayvan said still in the deep voice.
He then tilted his head putting some of his hood in between his face and the blaster and then used force pull again but on his blaster instead of his body. His lightsaber was still in his other hand waiting to be ignited and not ready in an instant.

 

[Santoro]

The pirate had expected this, hence his firm grip on his blaster. Instead of releasing the pistol, he let loose a torrent of red energy blasts, using the distraction to run out the door at full speed and out into the busy streets.

 

[Cailst]

The red energy blast hit all over his robe and left a few burn marks because the underlying material of his robe was mandalorian iron. It was made to be flexible and worked great at saving him from mere blaster shots.

However, he had a criminal to catch. He did have force speed and his own natural speed which would enable him to run faster than pretty much anything and a big human would be an easy target to catch and find.

So he ran out straight at the man with his lightsaber ready for activation once the man's feet were in range.

 

[Santoro]

Using his natural agility and grace, Caden proved to be a tricky man to catch. He blended with crowds almost seemingly, and wove through congested areas with ease. Eventually, he got to the safety of the star port, and headed towards his dock.

In front of his ship sat Diz, his battle droid. He nodded, and headed up, starting the warm up sequences. The droid headed in, and the two waited.

 

[Cailst]

Continuing to track the man, he came across the man with his trusty battle droid. Given that Hayvan did not want to face the droid if he didn't have to, he sent an EMP grenade flinging like a frisbee into the droid as he swept in and around the ship meanwhile shooting his blaster pistol at the man.

 

[Santoro]

While the EMP may have been effective should the droid have been on the ground, the surge did little past the Eros's hull. Caden took manual control of the lower laser turret, assigning Diz to the top. The duo spewed low impact laserfire at the Jawa, lethal enough to kill the little being but do no more than scorch the pavement. It was then that Caden made a comm call.

"This is Caden Danderfluff to Starport Control. I'm being attacked by a strange Jawa, in hangar twenty five. He seemingly has access to high grade explosives, and is currently taking shots at my ship and property. Requesting assistance." He smiled. Sometimes it was best to use your enemy as your friend.

After a brief acknowledgment, Caden sat back and continued to fire, looking at his engine readouts... Almost ready for liftoff.
