Kadavo is considered an ugly, barren planet in the Kadavo system of the Wild Space. It is under the control of the Zygerrian Slavers Guild and is the location of both the Zygerrian Labor Processing Hub as well as the Kadavo Slave Processing Facility.

Before the clone wars, it was under the control of the Zygerrian Slave Empire, which also used it to process slaves. Not much else is known about this planet, as operations are not well known on the planet aside from the slave populace and the Zygerrian's that control them.

The Zygerrian slavers built a labor processing hub in one of the larger calderas of a supervolcano on the planet. The hub was a tall cylindrical building where a large number of slave were kept while awaiting sale. It was kept aloft above a pool of lava by several powerful repulsorlifts. It was also anchored in place by four cables attached to the sides of the caldera.

Kadavo is a rigid, dusty, and cold planet with temperatures consistently below freezing year-round. However, due to the dry nature of this planet, surface ice is uncommon apart from near active volcanoes, which are also rare on the planet. Kadavo had a very thick smoggy atmosphere that caused the world to look purple from space.

The particles in the atmosphere were caused by numerous volcanoes and lava pits, which covered a majority of the barren land masses and islands present on the planet. These volcanoes also assisted in creating huge spiraling cloud formations and other weather systems that could be seen from space.

The entire planet is almost covered entirely with dormant volcanos and dangerous terrain, making above-ground travel extremely difficult without a hover-craft. Most activity is located in the floating slave facilities that make up the planet's entire economy.

Kadavo Slave Processing Facility

Not much is known about the history of Kadavo aside from its parent planet Zygerria. The planet has a long history of slave trade and labor, and that makes up the entirety of the economy aside from the spice and minerals that are shipped out.

A Togruta colony that was abducted by Count Dooku in the Kiros system was kept there for a time. After an unsuccessful rescue attempt, the Jedi Order's Obi-Wan Kenobi and Galactic Republic's Captain Rex were also sent to the planet.

They eventually managed to escape thanks to a Republic intervention and destroyed one of the many facilities that make up the planet. Since then, no public or popular contact has been received or made with Kadavo, leaving the slave organizations to rebuild what they had lost.

Kadavo Slave Processing Facility Overseer

The government of Kadavo was hardly a government at all, but rather a communist regime headed by multiple slave-masters, and ensured by the guards that protect them through the authority of their king/queen.
Slave-masters are either chosen or forced into the job in advance on the Zygarrian home world and sent to oversee any of the numbers of facilities that the planet has. The entire operation is seen by a monarch of the Zygarrian homeworld, who often visits to ensure everything is running in order.

One of the many facilities

They were ruled by a monarchy, who was served by the Prime Minister and the Zygerrian royal guard. They patrolled on the backs of flying brezaks and brandished electro-whips to control their slaves.

Their ears inspired the hairstyle known as Zygerrian-style faux crests. The hairstyle was sported by Razoo Qin-Fee, a Kanjiklubber who once participated in an underground Zygerrian fighting circuit on Nar Kanji. They lived in a rocky natural habitat.

Philosophy

"Slavery is the natural order of things. The weak deserve nothing more than to kneel before the strong, bound to our service."
―Queen Miraj Scintel

The Zygerrians were cunning, ensuring that they had the upper hand in any situation, and traditionally settled their differences with an unarmed fistfight. They believed that it was the natural order of life for the strong to dominate the weak, so slavery was normal for the species.
Any display of weakness could mean death or enslavement in their culture. Those unfortunate enough to become their slaves were viewed as inferior species by the Zygerrians. As such, a slave market thrived on their home world of Zygerria as well as Kadavo.

Language

The official language of Kadavo is Galactic Standard Basic, though Trade Languages are also taught as compulsory during initial education on Kadavo. Their language was extremely primitive before the discovery of the galactic community, and as such they experienced a massive leap in not only intelligence but ability to communicate, quickly adopting outside languages.

Additional Information

The slavers were also in control of the Triellus Trade Route, which provided access to the planet Ryloth, the homeworld of the Twi'lek species. At the height of their empire, the Zygerrians provided slaves to other powerful factions operating in the region, such as the Hutt Empire and Chevin slavers.

During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, the planetoid Zygerria Four underwent bombardment in an attempt to drive off slavers who had settled there.
The bombardment drove away many slavers, with one rich slave trader abandoning an entire palace. The bombardment also uncovered the ruins of an underground city on Zygerria Four, which various archaeologists gathered to study.

The write-up looks fine although some questions

Can you clarify this? The Galactic Republic (died at the Clone Wars) and the Sith Empire wasn't a thing. Did you mean CIS? Or did you mean the New Republic and the First Order? (Which did have an actual Cold War)? Or something else?

    Sith Empire

Just an FYI the Sith doesn't do slavery, the previous Empress abolished it. Although the Five Syndicates would def has interests on the planet, the Sith haven't shown any interest in anything Zyggerian releated. I'd probably omit the Sith and if they interact with the Zyggerians they could be added back.
