"It is said that the eyes are windows into the soul. I'm not sure what people see when they look into my dark, sapphire blue eyes. Most of my clients tell me it is my eyes that draws them first, though *chuckle* I doubt much of that. You see, I am a companion, a woman who offers that which another desires with no ties, no guilt afterwards. Many who have never experienced the company of a companion are quick to judge, yet if you have indulged, you know the truth of it. I am not a prostitute."
With eyes as dark as the finest sapphire and skin as pale and flawless as fine porcelain, the five foot eight inch Kaori is what many would consider beautiful. Long, chestnut brown hair and lips as red as raspberries frame her startling blue eyes. She often wears her hair down and rarely exposes her back, which is rumored to hold another mark of beauty (a tattoo of a red rose that runs the length of her spine with sharp thorns dripping blood). It has been said that with a simple smile, she has softened the crudest of tradesmen hearts. Many who can afford her services call upon her to help seal a deal or for a simple night of escape.
Having studied many cultures and the fine arts, she can offer the most intellectual conversation to scholars while also singing or playing a melody from another land to soothe her clients. Always soft spoken and agreeable, she is quick to find out that which her client enjoys and becoming that for him/her for one night. Never does she push anything upon any of her clients.
One will never find Kaori wearing something that is not in current fashion. She wears the best and even is known to have her own private seamstress to craft original gowns for her to wear so she never wears the same dress twice, unless a client requests it.
There is but one habit that some find disturbing about the young woman. She often carries tarot cards on a whim and seeks their guidance before the day begins and before each assignment. Some clients come to her specifically to learn of their future while others ask her to not speak of the occult.
As for protection, the young woman of twenty carries only a dagger hidden within a garter belt beneath her skirts. Rarely has there been a time in which she has been forced to draw it, yet when it is drawn, blood is usually spilled. The most beautiful of roses still have thorns.
There is one thing you will never see the young woman remove. A finely sculpted white crystal hangs from a silken cord around her neck, stopping just before her bosom. Why she wears it and what it symbolizes no one has found out. Just as Kaori keeps her lips sealed on what her clients wish from her, much of her past is not known. Where there is secrecy, danger lies. Heed this warning well should you wish to delve into that which was never meant to be discovered.
