Thread Prefix: Fanon (New Creation)

Name: Kiev'arian Dragons

BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION:
  • Breathes Type I
  • Average Height of Adults: 2.3-2.5
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A?
  • Skin color: white [ but scale color varied from greens, blues, browns, oranges, whites, beige, etc. [ most colors stayed within the spectrum of white, blue, red, and green]]
  • Hair color: brown, blond, black, red.
  • Distinctions: wings, horns, tails, clawed hands[ in some cases where they are purposely grown out]. All Kiev’arians are born with semi-developed wings, which grow larger as they age. Young Kiev’arians' scales are dull until maturity, and the colors darken. Females of this Species Tend to be slimmer in nature and Feminine in appearance.
  • Races: They had four Races. Each is Appropriate for its Colors. Fire Dragons, Water Dragons, Earth Dragons, and Air Dragons
  • Force Sensitivity: All

Breeding: Reproduce via eggs. They advance into biological adulthood through various life stages: hatchling, juvenile, adolescent, adult, elder.

Strengths:
  • Poison/ disease immunity. Due to the aggressive nature of their white blood cells
  • Flight[Wings]
  • Heightened Hearing
  • Heightened Eyesight
  • Biological Fire Breathing.[Provided by a secondary set of lungs. Which stores methane gas. And a special set of bones is located in the throat called “Sparking bones,” which act as their namesake and spark, igniting the methane gas as it's released. Giving the ability to “breathe Fire”
Weaknesses:
  • Due to the hyperaggressiveness of their blood, any foreign bodies that would otherwise affect the body in any manner are destroyed. EX, alcohol. Bacta. And other healing items. Leaving them to lean on their own Natural Healing Regeneration
  • Sensitivity to loud Noises
  • Sensitivity to Very Bright light
  • Living force - being removed from the force or being in areas where the force is nonexistent. The species themselves pose a weakness of their bodies begin to shut down. As their biology relies on the force to function fully

Diet: Carnivore.

Behavior/Temperament: Varied among the four dragon types, ranging from aggressive to philosophical, reclusive, and stubborn.

Communication: Spoken language, primarily Draconic, with the ability to learn other languages.

Culture:
  • Mannerisms:
  • The Dragons of Kiev’ara lived in kingdoms and villages. Each of the four types inhabited biomes that matched their attunement. Fire Dragons inhabit hotter climates, earth dragons in the lush forests, and water dragons in lakes, oceans, and river beds. Air dragons in cold climates such as mountain peaks and other elevated areas. The four kingdoms themselves have their own dialect and accents

  • Life Cycle:
  • Keiv’arian dragons live upwards to 1000[100 in Dragon] years, beginning to become frail around eight hundred years. And beginning to lose their color. The equivalent of 10 human years = 1 dragon year. A kiev’arian dragon starts its life as a hatchling 0-40 then they become a juvenile 41-60 adolescent 61-90 adult 91-800 elder 801- 1000. Dragons all crossed the four kingdoms retain laying eggs and hatching at roughly the same time[ given 2-3 years in between]

  • Ideology
  • The ideology of the four kingdoms varies drastically. Earth dragons are more philosophical, wanting to learn and record history. In contrast, fire dragons are more forward and aggressive. Being more warlike. The water dragons themselves are more reclusive and shy-natured. And the Air dragons are level-headed and stubborn with a tinge of self-pride. All dragons hold honor very highly. And remain loyal to the law that no dragon shall kill another dragon.

  • Social Hierarchy
  • The social hierarchy of keiv’arian dragons allows for a barter system of sorts. All individuals are required and expected to contribute to their society in one way or another. If a dragon cannot find anything to do, it will be given a job requiring extra manpower. Most commonly, a dragon is born into its role. Depending on the role of their parents. For example, a farmer is born a farmer, and a soldier is born a soldier. Each dragon is raised and trained in this manner until they reach adolescence. In which they are then [ along with every other dragon of their age] are given trials to help them decide what they want to do/ where they truly belong. They may then choose another profession, or if they so wish, they can remain where they were born. The only exception to this is the royals, as they have no choice in their career choices. But they are allowed to marry without prejudice. Each dragon is born into a family, which is presented with a family crest on their right shoulder. The family's status is usually represented by their task/ job.

  • The worship of the two brothers
  • Saura’vix is worshiped as the god of death. Being known to guide those who left this land into the next. They had black scales that absorbed any light around them, with piercing red eyes with little to no iris. He was responsible for Taking the Souls from the Dead and blessing the world with New energy. Dra’ko is the god of life and creation. He had glimmering white scales that irradiated and reflected all light that touched him back into the world. His eyes were a swirl of gold. He was credited with creating the entirety of Keiv’ara.

History:
The Dragons of Kie’vara Originated on their Home Planet of Kiev’ara. Early in its existence, the Planet benefited from an Infinity Gate brought to them by the Kwa. Although Technically, their Species was only in the Mid to Late Medieval era, the Gift of the “realm Gates” didn't have too much effect on the Species as a whole as they Assumed the gate was a sort of magick.
With their Planet connected to the network of gate systems. Kiev’ara Prospered from both Migration and trade deals with others of the gate system. It wasn't until after the gates Mysteriously went offline that Trouble started to appear. They had begun to Rely on the boosted trade from the other worlds. The economy soon began to plummet once Shortages began, so did the war.

In a War that enveloped the entirety of the world. Every race was at each other's Throats, attempting to vie for power and Stability. Leading to mass extinction events, having entire Species killed.
Reclaiming their home world, the Kiev’arians' victory would be short-lived. As in 30,000BBY, the Rakatan Infinite Empire would arrive Enslaving the Planet.

The Kiev’arians were used as a Power Source for Rakatan Ships and Technology due to their heightened Force Sensitivity. By the time the Infinite Empire Dissolved, There were Very Few Kievar’ians Left alive. What was left of the Species Eventually Found their way to Tython. Using the Rakatan Ship, they were Enslaved to escape to a new home.

Planet: Kiev’ara (destroyed), currently residing on other planets within the galaxy with what few remain

Technology: Galactic Standard as per last records.

Intent: To introduce a richly detailed and unique sentient species with a complex cultural and biological background for role-playing purposes. The Kiev'arian Dragons offer diverse narrative opportunities, ranging from their struggle for survival to their deep-rooted cultural beliefs and practices.

So, it looks like the images are broken? But it seems like these are humans with dragon features? Honestly, that doesn't really seem star warsy or scifi-esque. I would be more fine with `dragons with humanoid shape` (like dracthyr from Warcraft or Dragonborn from Baldur's Gate 3) however.

Anyways that aside, the species has an awful lot going on with it. It's immune to poison/disease, can fly, has claws, has super senses, can breathe fire, are all force sensitive, long-lived .etc. Honestly, the 'draw backs' are rather situational and don't really balance out how powerful the species is. Among the thing listed, I would remove a number of them to better balance out the species.

The fire breathing needs to be further elaborated on if we want to keep it. If it can be weaponized, how it works, how much damage it can do, how long and often it can be used, range .etc and other details need to be clarified so others know how it works and how they can use it.

The species being all force-sensitive and `heightened Force Sensitivity` I would encourage to drop. I don't think it does any favors for the species. It prevents people from playing non-force sentitive Kiev'arians.

On a minor note, do note somewhere that the Kevarian Dragons would be classed as a reptilian species, same as the Krayt Dragons, the Arkanian Dragons .etc

Last thing, I would remove references to the Infinite Empire. While it is canon, details of it are still forthcoming atm, and at this time we would rather not pothole references to it in case in the event more details of the Infinite Empire are canon.
