The lower level of the temple the cultists had taken over was vast in size but not in terms of complexity. There were a single door ahead at the end of the stairs and nothing else of note. If a Force blind person were to decent the stone steps they would find the stone walls and stone door rather dull, the room nothing out of the ordinary save, perhaps, for being a touch cold.

But none of those venturing down was Force blind and the entire experience was different to them.

Every surface was pulsing, almost in a grotesque parody of breathing, the stone flexing and pulsing as the Dark Side ran through them. Each stone was dripping an ichor visible only through the Force, the taint of the Dark Side growing so strongly that it was visible in ways that it otherwise wouldn't be. Max took a breath and stepped at the base of the staircase.

The Dark Side had been like a cloud hanging over their every action from the jungle and it had only gotten worse here. There was more beyond the doors but Max knew, instinctively, that with the Force so against them, there would be no chance of victory. Kneeling down at the base of the stairs, Max reached deep into the Force, into the well of the Light he kept within himself. His connection to the Force was a warm lake to him and he needed to widen it - to burst it open until it was closer to a sea than a lake.

"I will pierce the shroud of the Dark Side so that it doesn't impede your connection to the Force."
he spoke up to the others with a grimace, "This may feel... slightly unpleasant to begin with so I apologize."

Battle Meditation was not something Max had some suddenly amazing skill in. He wasn't some kind of prodigy of the art but he didn't need to be; all he needed to do was touch the minds of his allies... so he did. Through the Force he reached out and connected to each of his allies, each one adding a weight to his shoulders as he forced their connection to shine brighter. For the Light to flow through him, into them all so that the Dark could not obstruct their own connections to the Force, to the Light.

"We shall succeed."
he closed his eyes closely and the next words were repeated within the minds of his allies, "May the Force be with you."

The doors opened.

Doorway.jpg

The doors were carved from solid stone, taller than any of the beings who would seek to step through them by many meters. They had been carved through the use of the Force long ago, to be stronger and heavier than they had any right to be. But despite this, they were eeily silent as they swung inward.

Beyond the doors the bottom floor of the Temple was a wide hall, lined with stone pillars that supported the floor above them. Light from a dozen torches affixed to the pillars lit the area but not fully.

Shadows lurked at the edge of sight, promising things that were not actually there.

At the end of the hall, a figure of stone sat upon a throne of marble. So like a statue that it was almost impossible to tell that it was breathing unless you watched it closely. With it's hand resting at the bottom of it's sculpted chin, the creature stared at the Jedi without eyes.

The Dark Side rolled off of the creature, a being that should not be.

A Dark Side Abomination from ages past.

It's sight was not based on actual eyes but on the Force that it could feel more acutely than most people. And it's attention was firmly placed on the Jedi who stepped foot within it's domain.

How do you like my new form? If you had been earlier, you would have seen me in my mortal shell...

It's head tilted to the side.

Unfortunately you were so very slow.

Drastus could feel it. The power of the Dark Side. Chills ran up and down his spine and where the last two they fought were easy claps, this monster would definitely not be so. His hand ached from where he held the grip of his beskad. Even through the insulation, he felt the singe of the electricity, perhaps the beginnings of a faint scar on his hand. Luck had blessed his motions so far, and he just hoped Lady Luck had a few more tricks to offer.

With no one else stepping forward, the Padawan would descend the steps first into the great and dark hall of the Stone Boi, beskad in hand, he knew this would be a reckoning of sorts. He'd glance back at the others, offering a nod to Isen, the other Padawan that had made some magic happen with him, then to Venn. "Better get a better souvenir than 'All I got here was a dead stone sith and this stupid shirt'." he said with a grin, trying to hopefully inspire some calm in the minds of his allies. Some of them were hurt, so he knew a lot of what lie ahead fell to him and those that managed to escape much of the injury so far.

Focusing back on Darth StoneEdge, Drast held his blade in the off-hand, off to his left yet still at the ready. This foe would be mighty and he'd need to be extra careful this time.

Perhaps it shouldn't be so, but Isen found himself eager to take part in the danger should danger be necessary. As such, he was right on Master Max's heals going down the stairs along with the rather obnoxious and egotistical padawan that had joined them. It wasn't the Jedi way to look forward to combat or to seek out these opportunities, but something burned inside Isen to be a part of it. He was fortunate to still be mending. He was roughed up back in the original confrontation before they knew where the temple was. Broken ribs, a punctured lung. He couldn't be more thankful that Izel Thral, his master and teacher, was with him and very adept at healing. He still had some residual effects, but it was a pain he could manage.

He had come virtually unscathed approaching the temple and fighting against the Warrior guardian up the stairway. Isen knew that he had to guard against being overconfident based on his recent success. If any overconfidence found its way into Isen's mind, the Dark Side which permeated the stairwell going down to the door and beyond the threshold eroded whatever bits of conceit and swagger Isen might have had.

The Darkness started to lessen around him, but Isen knew that this was not a result of whatever darkness would be found beyond the door retreating. He could feel Max trying to promote his light side essence into each of them, and it worked to act as a repellent against the Dark Side from infiltrating their mind.

Then the doors opened. It was a grand hall, carved out of stone. It appeared that it may be that Max would stay behind. Isen wasn't sure if he would be able to help in the fighting or if he would have to stay in meditation. Isen suspected that Max may not be able to lend himself to physically attacking. But, Isen knew that his role was more important than any other if they would be successful against such a powerful, dark foe.

The young Kiffar stepped inside the hall and stood beside Drastus. The fellow padawan was a little cocksure and talkative for Isen's taste, but he seemed to handle himself well in a fight. Isen didn't respond to his joke. He was stoic and focused on the stone figure in front of him. It had every appearance of a statue, but the Dark Side of the Force was pouring from it. It was very much alive.

"How do you like my new form? If you had been earlier, you would have seen me in my mortal shell...Unfortunately you were so very slow."

Isen didn't know much, but that clearly sounded ominous. It became pretty clear that whatever dark ceremony the Jedi came to prevent, they were too late. It was complete, and Isen supposed this was the dark and horrific result. The hints of doubt started to prick at Isen. Even with Max's battle meditation, the padawan was still a padawan and this dark entity was clearly very powerful. Would the lightsaber be effective against such stone? Must this battle be won by control and knowledge of the Force? If so, Isen may not be quite as helpful as he had been up to this point. He also knew he was too stubborn not to try the lightsaber...

Drow fortunately had become well-practiced in Force Heal so he was able to quickly fix his injuries from the debris on the move. It had been a rushed job and he wasn't a hundred percent still but his foot no longer ached with every step and he wasn't actively bleeding any longer. It would be enough. It would have to be for this monstrosity loomed like a dooming plague about to sweep the galaxy. Drow, who had faced gunships, Gammorreans, and grenades in his lifetime felt the first signs of fear creep into his normal courage. He tried his best to stifle them down but this being was sucking away the very Force they drew upon. And for the Ishi Tib that had regained a purpose in life from the Force, to have it rendered so helpless was truly disconcerting.

"Honestly, I think you could have done better with it! Maybe try again?" Drow taunted the abombination when asked how the Jedi liked his new form, trying to reassure himself that this was just a normal battle by defaulting to his standard battle taunts.

The thick corruption of the Dark Side was even worse down here than it had been above. The Ithorian nearly gagged as he came down the staircase but he managed to withstand the assault upon his senses as he raised the barriers around his mind and spirit to protect him from the vileness in this place.

The shadows seemed half alive in this place shifting this way then that as though the darkness itself possessed ill-intent towards the intruders.

Oorrl turned his eyes towards the end of the hall where the terrible still figure sat upon this throne as if a King of the ancient Temple. Even its words stank of the Dark Side causing the Ithorian to narrow his eyes slightly in disgust at the creature. More obvious was the rank arrogance in its words. So quick were those of the Dark Side to declare their own power and sneer at the weaknesses of those around them. That was the trap of their power of course, it blinded them to reality.

Feeling the light flow from from the Jedi Master into him and through them all the Ithorian smiled. “The Darkness is strong here.” he conceded in a clear voice unafraid of the abomination before him. “But at it’s heart lies it’s greatest weakness. It takes but a single candle to hold back the Dark and we are many.”

Holding his unignited weapon casually in one hand the Ithorian added. “Perhaps you will be wiser than your unfortunate friends above? Surrender yourself to our custody and you will not be harmed.” he offered the Dark Side Abomination. No matter how lost it was Oorrl believed in the Jedi way and he believed redemption should be offered to all who had fallen even so far as this poor thing.

Fiach had managed to escape the initial trap unscathed – but appreciated that this rarely meant that things would get easier. She was a Jedi that avoided conflict wherever possible – but beneath her robes, she carried enough scars to disabuse anyone of the opinion that she shirked her duties when it came to confronting beasts and Darksiders alike.

As they progressed, it was clear that the challenge they would face would be multi-faceted. Yes, she was prepared to defend herself physically, but she suspected the mental attacks had not abated.

She slowed her breathing and connected as best she could to the Force – looking to maintain the connection through the cloying nature of the Dark-side that permeated the area. It was a challenge, but she had faced similar trials all too often now – and was prepared for it. Not that this meant she found it an easy journey – the sticky oiliness of the Dark-side was oppressive and diminished her connection to the Light. But she pressed on, regardless.

And then, suddenly, she felt the connection grow stronger and the Light to shine brighter. She was obliquely aware that Max was making it happen – but how (and to what personal cost) she had no idea. Or rather, a few ideas – but even now she would defer speculation until after the event, when she could ask him.

“May the Force be with you,” she echoed, innately, as they walked through the doors.

At the end of the vast hall sat a statue. No, not a statue, Fiach sensed that now – her abilities boosted somehow by Max. It seemed as though the Dark-side emanated from the figure, such was its power.

But they were here for a reason and so Fiach took confident and steady steps forward. She did not fear death. Death was inevitable. One day, she would re-join the Force. Only the date was to be decided.

The overflowing darkness in this place was enough to make the Vratix cringe in displeasure, her antennae twitching as her senses were nearly overwhelmed with the insidious energy. It reminded her of Flood's lair on Nar Shaddaa, the cave on Ifrane, all her most horrid memories being dragged to the forefront of her mind. Thankfully Max was there to rally their spirits. His battle meditation was immediately enough to strengthen the Knight's resolve. To assist his efforts Izel used her own Force Valor learned from the master to help bolster her allies' morale. Then stepping into the next chamber, she joined her comrades in standing against the cult's leader. It was powerful, that much was clear, but their numbers, and the waxing power of the light side gave her confidence she might not have had alone in her current condition.

"You should listen to him." The Vratix spoke up as she nodded towards the Ithorian. As much as she would like to avoid it she had a feeling the leader would be no different than it's followers. "Your 'transformation' will not help you. Your cult lies in tatters, and you are all that's left. And we accomplished that with far fewer numbers then stand against you now." She raised her hands, prepared to stave off any assault through the Force. "Or would you rather test your newfound immortality?"

Not exactly the most 'Jedi' thing to say, but it was clear by now these fools didn't respond well to reason. It was unfortunate, but the evil here could not be allowed to persist. If this creature was really as powerful as it insisted, it should be able to survive the worst they had to throw at it, even if it was just barely. As she stood beside her Padawan Izel gathered all the light side energy she could to herself, prepared to lash out with the Force on a moment's notice. They hadn't come this far to be stopped now. If this thing wanted a fight, it would have it.

Rah’la did not linger within the chamber with the dead guardians, though the touch of Fonwim’s hand upon her shoulder did, accompanying her while she descended the steps toward what lay beyond. Though there were massive doors sealing the chamber, she was soon to see, the waves of the Darkside seeped through the joints around them more easily than dust during a storm. It hinted of the danger that lay before them which she could feel would not be so easily defeated. Clearly all those two now dead Sith were for was to delay them. She could feel the hunger of what waited in the dark; it wanted them to face it, it needed them…

Whetting her lips...razor sharp…

The Nautolan mentally gasped as she felt the touch of Knight Toinson pierce her focus and with him bringing the light. Then she felt the delicate touch of Izel Thral and even the lingering traces of pride and warmth she had felt from Oorrl. Calm spread through her as the doors opened and instead of making a sound, she swallowed and drew in a deep breath causing her nostrils to flare. They would meet the darkness and prevail.

Keeping near Master Fonwim, Rah’la held her unignited lightsaber in her left hand and passed through the doorway to the room beyond. It was cavernous, as the massive doors suggested it would be, and filled with a fetidness of illusive bile. It reminded her a bit of when oil was spilled into water and felt there was no escaping that slimy film that coated the atmosphere. The whole setup was designed to draw focus to the throne at the end of the room, a needless expenditure of effort for it was impossible to miss the rancor in the room nor from where it originated.

Content to remain silent while the Abomination and the Knights ‘greeted’ one another, she drew on the light side of the force preparing for assault in whatever form it might come.

The Abomination upon the Throne observed the Jedi and their allies as they came to stand against him. Arrayed before it were a scattering of different people, different species and different skill levels. Some of them spoke in taunts rather than sense.

Truly the Jedi have fallen far if they send such pitiful creatures against me.

The Abomination rumbled.

Childish fools who think to taunt and fools who believe I would willingly reach out to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. No...

With slow movement, the stone Abomination rose from the throne it had seated itself upon before they arrived. Rising to it's full height, a towering and imposing 12 feet, it raised both of it's arms slowly, uncaring.

The Dark Side shuddered around the Jedi expedition, pulsing eagerly as the Abomination reached into it and began to pull. Began to demand that it bow to it's might... and it did. Tendrils of the Darkness began to curl around the stone form of the Abomination.

Bow and live.

It was the last chance it would give the Jedi and their allies, the Dark Side coiled tightly around it to strike or defend. The last, gloating, chance for the Jedi to prove that they did not have the strength of Will to continue to fight the Darkness.

"Ah kriff nuggets.." Drast would muse. "Of course he does the swirly osik.." he'd look back at Master Oorrl "Master, do you have one of those shockwaves left in the gas tank? Anything to break the stone might be more effective then sabers. Force him to focus on keeping himself together." he'd say just loud enough for his team to hear. "Also, grouping up may not be the best idea with this guy.." his right hand dropped to his blaster and he pulled it free from his holster. Sure, he was a Padawan and he damn well did not expect anyone to listen to him, but he felt like he might have been onto something at least.

Distract the tendrils seemed like a decent enough idea. The gods knew he wasn't going to be slinging objects at StoneEdge any time soon. He would break left from the group, his aim focused on no particular point on the massive stone, he just wanted to distract him. His main focus however, was on his surroundings and on the Force, ready to dodge or maneuver as he saw fit. If any moved in to engage at a melee range, Drast would be prepared to support them.

Isen stared at the stone monstrosity before the Jedi. This abomination of the Dark Side was powerful. He was confident. He knew the Jedi would not kneel. He was trying to get them to attack. The Kiffar looked around. Nobody seemed to want to jump right into this one. The priest and the warrior? Everyone wanted a piece of those guys. But this twelve-foot stone giant oozing Dark Energy and with such control over the Dark Side, he was able to manifest the Dark Force into a shadowy tendrils that looked like like smokey black flames that whipped and wrapped around the stone figure.

Isen sighed. Someone would have to do something, even if it meant they would be knocked around a bit. Isen had no illusions that he might be able to scrap with this thing. Isen did not believe that a lightsaber could win this battle. The padawan believed that it would take great knowledge and control of the Force to win this day, and unfortunately, Isen was not long in that suit. Still, someone had to act.

Drast was doing...something. He played it right, though unconventionally, against the priest moments earlier. Maybe he had another magic trick up his sleeve. Isen responded to Drast while never taking his eyes off the stone giant. "You start working on the tendrils." Isen narrowed his eyes to stare at the stoneman. "I wonder if the best method isn't to just try to cut the head off the serpent."

Isen slowly took several steps toward the giant. Both of isen's lightsabers dangled from his belt. If Drast went to the group's left, then Isen would go to the right. He sprinted at an angle toward the wall of this grand hall, Force roughly halfway up the wall and then quickly jumped again off the side of the wall, this time aiding his flight with a Force push against the wall- a tactic he developed in the tree canopy of Ajan Kloss chasing his Vratix master and her red cloth. Isen timed the jump and the Force push well getting a great deal of momentum at the man of stone's head. Isen would not call for his lightsabers until the last instant in an effort to prevent this abomination from tracking his blades. On his descent from his jump, both of Isen's hilts flew into his hands and ignited. The action was fluid and clean. Isen's left handed blade would attempt to strike horizontally along the neck in an attempt to decapitate the monster. The blade attached to his right hand would attempt to strike hard straight down over the top, as if he was trying to split this Dark Side mainfestion's head in two.

For his part, Drow adopted a conservative strategy. He considered using a Force Bellow to blast at the Abombination but with his tired and injured state and Isen already moving within striking distance, he figured the best thing to do was defend his allies. He kept his feet firmly planted, guarded Drastus' back and prepared to catch Isen with the Force if the Jedi were to fall or be knocked off.

They chose not to bow.

Fitting for Jedi and an outcome that was not at all unwelcome - the being of stone had been looking forward to an excuse to use it's newfound strength anyway. Using it to crush a few knights and padawans seemed a waste of time before but now that they had chosen not to bow? Had actively chosen to engage? It would enjoy this very much.

Drastus started firing at the stone being, the blaster bolts flying unobstructed to reach the body of stone. They impacted with their usual, explosive, force and scorched and shattered parts of the stone - the damage disappeared as one of the tendrils of the Dark Side swirled around the stone being.

'Weak little boy, cowering behind his ego.'

The words were mental, whispering into Drast's mind along with an attempt at Force Fear that the young Padawan would need to focus on to avoid falling victim to.

Again the stone being turned into the attack led by Isen, allowing both slashes to land. Unlike regular stone, the lightsabers did not cut their way through but rather impacted like sledgehammers against the creature's head and neck, causing breaks and shattering where they hit. The creature responded violently, a shockwave of the Force much like a powerful Push, eminated from it's head as it almost headbutted at Isen.

As the lightsabers left, the creature would once again be touched by the tendrils of Darkness and the 'injuries' would be repaired. The creature growled in a dead language before the tendrils responded to it's call, what had once been ghost-like ropes of shadows suddenly turning into angry blue flames.

Burn for your weakness, Jedi!

Tendrils would lash out at the two who had attacked the creature, seeking to wrap around their wrists to burn their hands from their bodies. For Drow it merely sent two tendrils aimed at his chest, aiming to spear straight through his lungs.

Isen felt his blades find their mark, but they did not singe the rock nor turn it into molten goo as it should against stone. It merely broke off chunks like rock hitting rock. At first, Isen thought they could chop wood like this, bit by bit, but the he was caught by a massive Force push that tossed him like someone might toss the core of a piece of fruit when they're done eating it. He was fortunate to have Drow at the ready, his preparation preventing Isen from being slammed against the stone wall of the room.

Isen still struggled to get his bearings from how hard the Force push from the stone monster was, and fell in a clump at the base of the wall. Ungraceful, but ultimately, unharmed. "Hmmph," is all Isen could say as he watched the pieces of rock that he knocked off the creature regenerate anew. It was as if Isen never touched him. The padawan just pissed him right off.

Isen watched as dark manifestations of tendrils lashed out at him and Isen quickly forced jumped to his own right, and extending both blades, each one hopeful to intercept a tendril a piece should he not be able to avoid the whips of dark mist with his jump. He was also trying flank the Stoneman. If not for the purposes of attacking himself, at least it would force this monster to consider multiple fronts at once.

If he made it this far without this stone Dark Lord taking him out of the game, Isen would try to Force Pull one of the tendrils heading toward one of his opponents opposite of him, trying to whip it back into the creature's own leg. A long shot, but a long shot is better than no shot.

Well, it looked like StoneEdge could put multi-tasker on the ol'job app skills section. The bolts would do their intended damage, but the tendrils just washed them away like an etch-a-sketch. And seeing Isen leaping in, well, couldn't let his comrade go in alone. That's when he heard the taunt 'Weak little boy, cowering behind his ego' Wasn't that ironic? A Sith peacocking over turning into an overgrown lawn ornament and Drast had the ego? The shadows would begin to coil but the young man would feel the light burning within, big Step Daddy Max. Despite the darkness and its hold, the candle that was the Master just outside the chamber was a conduit for all the hope Drast needed.

Make us proud, Drastus. He could hear the voice of Master Zurast, her presence, easing away the darkness.

Still flanking the Sith, that momentary delay would be the difference in timing he would have for joining Isen. He cursed as the other Padawan was thrown but kept moving to the rear, on hand outstretched to the doorway. That's when he saw them. Tendrils. Big, black tendrils. He had seen this in a holo somewhere and he would have nothing to do with that nonsense. The base of them would begin to ignite with flame and that's when Drast would officially nope on out of there. Holstering his blaster, he called on the Force, and threw his body higher than ever before, evading the tendrils though he could have sworn the bottom of a boot got singed.

As he descended, Max's lightsaber would fly into his hand and the blue blade would ignite as he slashed downwards on the head, attacking from the rear. He would then focus the force and aim a push with his free hand at the legs of StoneEdge.

Fiach paid little heed to the size of their adversary. No doubt, his stature and his decision to rise slowly was supposed to be impressive. Given the fact that arguably the most powerful Jedi of all time was under 70 centimetres in height, she set no store in physical size. In fact, it was core to the Jedi teaching after all. As the thought popped into her head, she muttered under her breath, “Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? And well you should not.” Then, louder, audibly, she added, “For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is.”

She sensed the Dark-side be drawn to the Abomination. Unlike the Jedi, who saw themselves as servants of the Force, she knew the Sith saw their role as demanding the Force do their bidding.

Her gaze remained impassive, her ubiquitous smile remained on her lips and her demeanour never faltered. She would do the right thing or die in the effort – that much she knew. Together, they had a chance and togetherness was a mark of the Jedi after all.

And she remembered her teaching back at the Order. Learn to recognize when speed is not important. Race when being first is important; move at your own pace at all other times. It is not necessary to always strike the first blow, to provide the first solution, or to reach a goal before anyone else does. In fact, it is sometimes vital to strike the last blow, to give the final answer, or to arrive after everyone else.

Fiach saw self-restraint as a key Jedi trait. For time was also a good ally, as it afforded options.

Like her fellow Knights Izel did not brashly attack like the Padawans, instead hanging back and observing the creature closely, looking for weaknesses and trying to formulate a strategy. It was certainly powerful, but the dark side's "strength" was just that. An illusion. There was always a chink in the armor. As Izel observed Drast and Isen's assault from a distance she thought she began to see it. The stone could be damaged after all, but the tendrils were quick to repair it. She wondered if these tendrils could be overtaxed. Could they focus on both offense and defense simultaneously? It was something worth testing.

Taking a deep breath Izel raised her hands. The chamber around them began to quake. Large chunks of stonework from the floor and walls broke free and drifted to hover her. Balling her hands into fists they cracked and broke apart into much smaller shards. A form of attack she had used many times by now. Not the most creative, but if it worked it worked. As the Vratix moved her hands the shards would spread out before flying at the statue from all directions, embedding themselves into it and trying to break it apart from head to toe. The damage they would do would be minimal at this size, but Izel was hoping for a death by a thousand cuts. If she could force the abomination to focus all it's energy on repairing itself, they could overwhelm it.

Of course Izel kept her focus split as well, reaching out with her well attuned Force sense to make sure she was aware of the movements of each of the dark tendrils. It wouldn't do to let them sneak up on her. She remained in a slightly crouched stance, prepared to make evasive maneuvers on a moment's notice.

The Ithorian glanced sideways at young Drastus with a faint smile, although if the Human could interpret the expression he didn’t know, and give a slight nod. He was of course fully capable of doing so but he wanted to give the man, abominable as he was, a chance to surrender unharmed.

“Quite right.” he said softly acknowledging the Padawan’s suggestion. Spreading out was likely the best way to counter the Dark Side creature.

The young human began shooting at the tendrils whilst another young man leapt from the separate direction with his lightsabers ignited. The Knight sighed internally as the two youngsters moved. Oorrl disliked making the first move in situations like this. Using their powers in defence of themselves and others but never to strike the first blow. It was something he had always deeply believed.

The Ithorian remained calm while his eyes narrowed as the Padawan’s lightsabers clashed with the stone being but didn’t manage to cut through instead impacting like an impact weapon. The young man was thrown away easily but instead of losing focus Oorrl kept his focus on the Abomination as it’s wounds were healed by it’s unnatural Shadows.

Letting the Padawans make their moves first Oorrl only slightly after the Vratix Knight did so.

Taking a deep breath the Ithorian used his race’s natural Kougathu technique. However he was a Jedi and instead of his shout merely being loud enough to stun. Shaping the loud noise from his two mouths and enhancing it with the Force into a true Force Bellow.

Oorrl channeled the Bellow into a much smaller area, narrow and focused, in comparison to the one he’d used against the previous two Dark Side Adepts. This one tore the air from his lungs and he felt his throats strain with the effort. Usually the sonic attack was restrained, instinctively, so as to not cause internal organ damage or too much damage against flesh and blood. Not this time. This thing was stone and darkness. So Orrll roared as loudly as he could, channeled into as much of a focused beam as he could and threw it straight at the being’s chest once the others were out of the way.

Offensive: Using Force Bellow as loudly and focusing it as much as he can to try and shatter the stone of the big baddy.

The Stone Figure was, indeed, a multi-tasker as Drastus believed, capable of paying attention to each of the Jedi as they tried to confront it. Already it was beginning to see the Jedi as ants; annoying on their own but capable of being an even greater annoyance as they worked together. Drastus himself would be able to evade the tendrils turned to flames long enough to strike for it's head but like Isen before him, the saber would impact rather than slice through.

As Fiach prepared herself in the Force, the Stone Being made a mental note to prepared for a stronger attack from her in the future. Force Users who stayed perfectly ready in combat were often preparing themselves with a larger use of the Force than they were typically used to. Whereas Isen's attack was successful... in moving the tendril but not in damaging the Stone Being at all. Instead when the tendril impacted it's leg, it was absorbed and the Stone Being turned it's head to stare at the Padawan as the damage to it's head from Drastus repaired right before his eyes.

My power cannot harm me, fool.

Confirmation of Izel's theory - the Stone Being's power came from the tendrils of Dark Side energy that it used to attack and defend with. Izel's own attack caused several cracks to appear along the Stone Being's form, causing it to start bringing it's flaming tendrils back to itself to heal.

Then Oorrl's Force Bellow sounded and the Stone Being let out a piercing sound as cracks lanced through it's entire form. It's right and left arms cracked and broke off at the elbows and still the scream continued as the tendrils flowed back to the torso of the Stone Being as it's legs broke off as well. The scream didn't stop so much as change as the tendrils rushed into the torso that remained, shattering it entirely.

There would be a moment of silence before the stone of the torso moved and a being of pure Fire and Dark Energy stepped out. Made entirely of the tendrils that had been powering it before, the creature of Fire stood tall in a mockery of life. A mouth with sharp teeth of fire inside a skull of fire - nothing but a distorted of life and peace.

It would Scream, a Force attack directed at everyone in the room that would focus on their ears. A sonic attack, it was invisible to the naked eye and dangerous due to how it played havoc with the inner ear, making balance almost impossible. It could be blocked with the Force but it was a draining technique to defend against if you didn't know the best way to defend. The best way to defend was, actually, to use a sonic attack of their own to counter it - otherwise blocking their ears would provide some protection.
