Drastus would grin as his strike landed, as well as the attacks from Izel and Isen, those weren't the main source of damage and he full well knew it. Even with that knowledge there was just something about a bad guy healing with fire and smug grin that really just rubbed ya the wrong way. With a quick glance back to the Ithorian, he could see the stance forming and without much knowledge on the ability of accuracy with such a move, he'd do a cute little leap backwards.

There it was then, Master Fonwim's Force Honk. A honk so strong it ripped the stone away to nothing. His original idea had worked, a thought that excited him, not because he was right but because it showed progress in his studies. The lightsaber was deactivated and clipped onto his belt. Sucked to be a rock.

Whatever victory they had was very minor and very swift. The former StoneEdge turned into Fireboy. "Should have brought a fire extinguisher.. or a bucket of water.." Drast mused to himself. He wasn't gonna lie, this thing was -hideous-. "Wasn't even his final form, shocker.." He was ready to close the distance once more when the dark side manifestation let loose a wicked scream. If he had been farther away, maybe he could have mounted a real defense, but he wasn't.

He had two instincts and he followed them both. First, he would open his connection to the Force, something made much easier with Max being a conduit, and would put some effort into a Force push to maybe propel the scream backwards. If that didn't work, he was ready to cover his ears.

"My power cannot harm me, fool," the moving statue said to Isen. Isen gave him an annoyed look. No need to be cheeky about it. The padawan clearly saw the result of his attack was ineffective.

This manifestation's confidence might have taken a hit with Izel's attack in conjunction with the Force Bellow from Oorrl. As the stoneman began to crack and crumble, Isen stood at the ready. He relaxed a bit as it fell apart in a rocky heap. As he figured from the beginning, it would take knowledge of the Force, not the skill of a lightsaber to take down this entity. And then, Isen deflated a little. Out of the pile of rock and stone rose a new version of this dark spirit arose, a fiery distortion of life.

"You've got to be kidding me," Isen said to himself.

And then it screamed. Isen covered his ears with his hands which provided some protection, but not enough. He could feel his eardrums start to vibrate harshly, and Isen knew it was a matter of time until the piercing scream would bust his ear drums. It would hurt, but because of Isen's stubbornness of using physical means, being the first one to jump into battles, and his constant sparring practice, Isen was quite adept at Controlling Pain using the Force. He just had to eat it, let his ears be destroyed and count on Izel Thral or another healer to fix him up later.

It was becoming more and more evident to Isen that he was going to have to develop his ability to manipulate the Force in ways other than just wielding lightsabers. He romanticized for far too long about galavanting around the galaxy as a Jedi where he would be vanquishing Dark Side flesh and blood with a lightsaber when peaceful negotiations no longer worked. The Dark Side manifested itself in more ways than just physical bodies that could be sliced through or broken. In fact, the more Isen was in the field, the more he realized that the Dark Side preferred to hide and take refuge in non-physical abodes.

Fairly sure that his lightsaber would not be the answer to this puzzle, Isen would try a more...scientific approach. Fire took oxygen. Dark Side fire? He wasn't so sure, but Isen would attempt to build a Force Orb around this fiery demon in hopes of choking off the oxygen. Perhaps it would quiet down that scream a little as well. The padawan was under no illusions. Again, he realized this was a long shot. Force Orbs were fairly rudimentary in and of themselves, but as younglings and initiates, they only practiced underwater. Isen didn't even know if he could build one outside of water. He also never tried to build one around a sentient that didn't want to be surrounded by it.

Then, of course, there was the issue that the fire may not feed on oxygen at all. But, Isen figured this was a better option that letting his lightsaber slice through fire and have the thing call him a fool again. Well, he was likely going to be called a fool again anyway. But maybe this would cause as a distraction that one of the other more clever Jedi could use to their advantage.

With his eardrums bursting and the pain shivering down his body, Isen used the Force to deaden the pain as much as he could. His hands started to move in circular motions in an attempt to fabricate this orb out of thin air and the Force.

Drow had spent this time using his Makashi to escape the approaching tendrils. Quick footwork and nible bladework did its job of saving Drow's life, though considering the attack had come after saving Isen from collision, he supposed that'd be enough. Of course, now a sonic attack was inbound. Fortunately, Drow had already been thinking about a Force Bellow anyways so he sent one towards this monstrosity. Due to his fatigued and injured state, it'd hardly be as powerful a one as he could normally do but it would at least knock a normal man down. Hopefully, it'd also protect his ears.

Izel was glad their assault was finally bearing fruit, less glad to see the creature still seemed to have quite a few tricks up it's sleeve. As the abomination bellowed in retaliation for Knight Fonwim's attack, the Vratix reflexively produced a Force barrier to shield herself from the sound waves. It was beginning to tax her abilities, and her hands shook from the effort to beat back the sonic assault, but her experience in the use of Force and Max's battle meditation helped to bolster her defenses.

Once the scream subsided Izel would lower her barrier, her mind still racing to come up with a strategy to defeat their incorporeal foe. Her experience with pyrokinesis was limited, but she understood it's principles. The ability was achieved through using the Force to cause friction in air molecules and ignite a flame. She could already see Isen trying to choke the fire out with a Force Orb, so the Vratix decided to employ another tactic to attempt to kill the flames.

Reaching out again she poured a great deal of her strength into her attack, attempting to use a stasis field to halt the movement of the molecules composing the creature's fire. She wasn't certain it would work, and trying to use a stasis field over such a large area would quickly expend what was left of her energy. The Vratix hoped that if she could not snuff the flame she could at least slow or hold the abomination in place long enough for her allies to strike a more decisive blow.

Drastus would find that his Force Push gave him only a second or two of relief before the sonic attack continued and attacked his ear drums. While the Force Push had been a short burst of power, the sonic attack came in waves by it’s very nature so a Push only destabilized it for a very brief time. Physically holding his hands to his ears would stop the attack from doing more permanent damage but the damage is still enough to cause a light bleed in both ears and the pain is terrible and immediate – Drast would likely also have bad tinnitus until he got proper healing treatments.

Likewise, his fellow Padawan would attempt to physically cover his ears to overcome the worst of the attack but unlike Drastus, Isen would use his hands to form a Force Orb in an attempt to snuff out the flames. The pain could be controlled by the young Padawan but the damage could not – blood would liberally escape Isen’s ears as he was deafened entirely. Alongside the sudden lack of sound, Isen would find it altogether much harder to perform simple tasks such as walking as his balance was shot due to the damage dealt to his inner ear.

Countering sonic with sonic and power was a good tactic for Drow and one he was uniquely suited for in the group – the struggle between the two techniques would be brief and end abruptly in the favor of the now tiring Jedi. Likewise, Izel threw up a barrier with the Force and caught the brunt of the attack and stopped it dead. Her ears would still hurt but it wouldn’t be enough to cause bleeding or any damage beyond a constant, low, ringing in her ears.

Both Isen and Izel reached out with the Force in an attempt to snuff out the flames to varying degrees of success; the Force Orb would cause the flames to dim slightly but otherwise the creature was still operating fine, if a touch slower than before. This combined with Izel, however, had more of an effect than realized before. Izel’s stasis locked in but the creature rallied against it, exerting pressure with the Force to break it… and was unsuccessful in breaking the stasis completely as it’s left ‘arm’ was still trapped without the technique.

The left arm came away from the creature of flames, separated. As the creature raged, the flames within the stasis effect died out, dissolving into a mist of Dark energies that it was clear the creature could not regain. The creature itself shrank roughly by a foot in height, redistributing it’s fires to ‘regrow’ another left arm by readjusting it’s overall, lesser, mass. Screaming again, it’s arms straightened and sharpened into pincer-like points as it charged at Izel with inhuman speed, intent on impaling and burning the Jedi at the same time with a charged thrust through her torso.

And just like he thought. Pain. His hearing immediately took the L following the screech and he could feel the blood begin to drip from the damaged goods. Pain was apart of life. He had learned that long before the Jedi, long before Master Zurast had claimed him. As the creature focused on Izel, he would begin to move towards the Knight, the first few steps were a little rough, but he learned to correct.

Thankfully, they did figure out something that would work on this creep. "Keep it up!" he would yell, much louder than intended. From what he could tell, the Sith had begun to lose a lot of steam, so now they really needed to pile it on.

It occurred to Drast that he wasn't quick enough with the sudden burst of speed, so he would have to rely on other means. He may have not been the strongest at using the Force, but with Max's bolstering just outside, he was finding it easier to do. Calling upon the opened connection with Max and the Force, he would reach out and try to grab ahold of the apparition with Force, his intent either slowing it down, to buy time for Izel to move, or stopping it in it's tracks completely. He would pour as much of his energy into it as possible and he knew that even seconds of it could leave him momentarily exhausted. They couldn't lose anyone on this operation.

Isen could no longer hear, so if someone was giving him instructions verbally, he would not receive them. His equilibrium was off as well, and though he had managed to control the pain, it was still very much present. He wasn't out of the fight, but he was one unbalanced maneuver away from making a massive mistake that could have dire consequences.

At this point, Isen truly didn't know what to do. He had tried the Force. It had a minimal effect. They were super-efficient at pissing this thing off, though, and Izel was the one that currently drew this fireball's ire. Since this body of fire that personified the Dark Side was focused on Izel, Isen thought he might have an opportunity to do...something. Hell, he didn't know. Might as well use the lightsabers.

But actually, in his disoriented state, he managed to remember something interesting about electricity and fire from his science classes. When an electrical force is introduced to fire, the fire changes shape. Something about ion displacement, something something something. Anyway, it makes the fire go all wonky. As if Isen needed another reason to try the lightsaber... Thankfully, Isen was behind the beast while it was focused on Izel who was on the opposite side as her Padawan. Isen, who would normally leap into such an attack, instead had to run because of his lack of balance and depth perception. Without Master Max bringing forth the Battle Meditation, even that may not be possible. Both of Isen's cobalt lightsabers made for the fiery beast. The electric blade in his left hand would try to pierce the living flame center mass while the right electric blade of blue would make a swipe right at the neck, aiming for a decapitation...if that was even possible.

Once again, Isen had no idea if any of these attacks would work. At the very least, he was hopeful that it would wobble the fiery extensions of the body and force the fiery spear headed for his master to buckle into waves and be sent off course. At best, he was hopeful that such an attack would cause the fire to disperse from its concentrated form or to have the fiery head "jump" from the body as electricity has the capability to do for "normal" fires. One thing was certain. Now that he was within an arm's distance, if this fiery demon didn't get hurt by something, and hurt pretty badly, Isen was likely in for a painful counterattack.

The sound waves from the creature caused no small amount of displeasure to her tympanal organs, causing Izel to pull in her limbs reflexively as the scream made her feel sick, but her Force barrier prevented any more serious damage. As she lashed out with her counterattack, she felt a mixture of shock and satisfaction as it actually seemed to work. Unfortunately it also readjusted the monster's ire directly on her.

She was getting tired from all this concentration, and the abomination moved frighteningly fast, but the combination of the Battle Meditation and Drastus' attack gave her just enough time to evade the arms. Barely. As the Vratix leapt to the side one of the arms still made glancing contact with her midsection, dealing a painful burn and setting her robes alight. Izel cried out as she landed, quickly tearing off her cloak and the upper half of her tunic and throwing them aside as the flames enveloped them, leaving her torso exposed to the air. There was a darkened spot on her midsection where the flames had burned her, as well as some much older scars painting her back and right arm.

"Isolate it's limbs! Tear it apart and it can't regenerate!" She shouted to her allies, at the same time using her bond with her Padawan to send him a simple mental image of what she had done to cause the damage to the creature. Seeing as the Padawans had been standing in front of her, she had witnessed the damage the scream had done to them. While her instincts told her to try and get to them, to provide some healing, she knew her priority had to be the abomination. If they didn't end this soon they'd all need much more than healing. So raising her arms she summoned what strength she had left and projected another stasis field. This one was much smaller and more focused then the last, designed to separate the extended arms from the main body of the creature. With luck they could whittle down the last of this monster quickly.

Drow was tired, bleeding, injured, and altogether done with this entire planet. But that was a feeling that he had been very accustomed too in his life and though he no longer thought of himself as a fighter, a fight was before him and he couldn't let such feelings overwhelm him.

Satisified that he'd staved off the sonic attack at any rate, he was disappointed to see that this abomination still retained some corporeal form. He didn't know much about the Dark Side - he had figured it too dangerous to study given his past - but he did know that things tended to die the more you stabbed them with lightsabers so that was what he intended to do. As tired as he was, he could still hold his blade.

He made his way over to the abomination. If Isen was successful with his decapitation, he'd just stab the thing in the center. If Isen was interrupted or unsuccessful for whatever reason, he'd go for his own decapitation swing.

The abomination strained against Drast’s instinctive application of an incomplete stasis effect, slowed by it but not stopped by it. Flames dimmed slightly along it’s body before it broke free of the effort and completed it’s lunge at Izel. Fortunately for the Jedi, it was enough time for the Knight to back away enough to avoid being impaled.

Speaking of impalement, both Isen and Drow would thrust a saber into it’s centre mass, with Isen swinging for a decapitation swing. The swing was not very effective at all, passing through the neck without much resistance because of the motion and speed of the attack itself. It’s neck knitted itself back together even as Isen’s blade was moving further through it.

The thrusts, however, were somewhat of a different story. With the blade thrust in and kept there, the energy of the blades got a chance to actually did start to effect the creature. Two blades stuck in it’s torso and not removed started to disrupt the control it had over it’s torso, the flames flickering as it stuttered and stayed still to keep from it’s torso being lost to it.

With the stasis wrapping around both of it’s outstretched arms, it was unable to pull back in time and so both of it’s arms were trapped. As with the last attack by stasis, the arms broke down into wisps of Darkness that no longer held cohesion, slipping away forever. The creature attempted to diminish in size once again but the impaling blades ‘pinned’ it in place so it merely screamed once more and lashed out in a desperate attempt to not be diminished beyond what it could maintain.

Fire would burst from itself as it used every ounce of flame not connected to it’s torso, it’s precious centre, to try and burn both Drow and Isen alive so it could free it’s center.

Muscles starting to get more fatigued from the application of the Force, Drast was at least relieved to see that the use of Force was just enough to save the Masters life. Moving forward again, he would seize the opportunity of the apparition of shadow and flame caught in place. Izel had shouted something, but he could barely make out anything but rumbling. Like Isen and Venn, he was more martially inclined, and this would have to be one of those many moments where he fell back on what he knew.

He wasn't sure why the sabers were so effective, just knew enough to follow suit. Isen's strike had been too quick, but Venn's was really doing some damage. Igniting Max's lightsaber, he would approach from the rear, his swing starting at the left shoulder and going down through the torso at a forty five. Unlike, Isen's strike however, he didn't put a whole lot of speed into the strike. He would drag the blade of the lightsaber slowly through the apparition, at almost a snail-like pace. If this was a fleshy being, he would feel absolutely horrible, but it wasn't. It was a fiend made of pure evil and he was about to aid his comrades in banishing it back to the shadow.

Drast could see the flames starting to spurt and hoped that maybe what he was doing would further inhibit the creatures ability to devote resources to such a defense.

Isen could see that the piercing attack from both himself and Drow was having an effect on the creature's power. The slashing one at the neck? Barely a wisp of damage. His other lightsaber was dug firmly into the flame, and he could see the fire start to distort, flicker, and break apart. So, Isen did the prudent thing and would attempt to pierce the flaming abomination with his other lightsaber. See if he might double his damage. The lightsabers were disruptive to the the plasma state of the fire, so hopefully as more blades were driven into the flame, it might break apart and disperse into harmless heat energy.

But, the Dark Side of the Force doesn't go down easily. Much like the terentatek that Izel and Isen faced in the sewers of Nar Shaddaa, this beast would try to explode it's danger outward, but instead of a sticky acidic goo, it would be a burst of flame. And much like Isen did back in the bowels of Nar Shaddaa, he would attempt to Force jump out of the way of the flame, doubting very much that he would be fast enough to recoil away completely from the fire or that he would land with any kind of grace due to his eardrums being busted and his balance being shot to heck.

One thing he would try however, is a stasis of his own, of sorts, but directed toward his lightsabers. As he jumped away, he would give his focus to the hilts of lightsabers, trying to keep them in place, hanging in the air as if on a string from the ceiling and keeping the cyan blades of energy firmly implanted into the fire. Of course, this meant on his jump he could not turn his back to the fiery response, and he ran a significant risk of catching a wave of fire to his face and outstretched hands.

It would appear that Izel would be busy doing some healing after this fight was complete....assuming Isen lived to the end of it.

Drow was pleased to see the stab to the center was doing some real damage to this monstrosity. Better yet, Isen and Drastus added more blades to the array, hopefully getting even more purchase on this thing. Drow left his blade where it was but as the monster lashed out with its remaining flames, he shielded his face with one arm and stepped back so that only half his blade was sticking in the monster, not the whole thing like before, trying to get some healthy distance away from this thing. If he did get set on fire, he'd let go of the lightsaber and stop, drop and roll until the flames were put out.

Izel was getting lightheaded from the strain of using Force stasis so much. It was a taxing power after all, and even more so when applied in such an unusual manner. She struggled to suck in air, becoming a bit uneven on her feet. But she couldn't give in just yet. Seeing the monster try and attack all her allies as they ganged up on it she reached out with her arms once more.

Groaning with effort she attempted to form a Force barrier around the flames, in an effort to prevent them from burning her fellow Jedi. They had already done a good deal of damage. If they could just push it a little further they could win. Her arms shook as she slowly moved them together, curling her fingers into fists as she shrank the barrier into a smaller and smaller orb, trying to contain the fire into one easy target. Their lightsabers were doing something to the flames. If they could just attack it all at once they might be able to finally destroy the abomination. She just had to overcome it's counterattack and the others would have their opening.

Drastus’ dragging of Max’s lightsaber blade through the flaming form of the creature might well have been considered torture had the creature being a true being of flesh and blood. As it was however, it was a Dark Side technique given sentience and beyond the limits and the restrictions of flesh; and beyond the considerations of such a form as well. The saber’s blade would further disrupt the flames of the creature, the flames becoming dangerously unwound.

Isen and Drow both kept their lightsabers in and this contributed to the downgrade of it’s cohesion as a creature but did little to protect either of them, or Drast, from it’s explosive burst of flames. It was losing control and there was nothing that could be done for it any longer; all it could do was die and it raged against the possibility of dying alone.

Izel’s force barrier would prove effective in part as the majority of the flames that launched out from the creature’s explosive demise were caught against her barrier, though flames would still buffet Drow, Drast and Isen, catching their robes alight.

Drow’s attempts to put them out by stopping, dropping and rolling would have some effect, limiting the burns to first degree at worst. Isen’s attempt to put distance between himself and the creature would bring him mostly out of the range, though flames would lick at and catch along his legs, the closest part to the creature. Drastus would find the front of his torso buffeted by flames, the robes there catching alight, but would find the flames to be quite small, the further reach of Max’s saberstaff, and it’s initial focus on killing Drow and Isen, working in his favor.

The flames that had made up the explosion had been made from what remained of the creature’s body and with the explosion complete, the creature would be no more. Sabers left inside the creature would fall to the ground as all resistance left, leaving only a skull of clear crystal resting on the ground where the creature had once been.

The Kiffar had nearly escaped the damage of the self-exploding fire monster, but his legs wouldn't get out of the blast radius. The flames caught onto his robes and the fire engulfed around his legs. Isen was forced to release his telekinetic hold on his lightsabers, but thankfully, the creature no longer was a threat, and in fact, had self-destructed. Isen landed in a clumsy heap as he was worried about his legs which were currently on fire. He clunked the back of his head pretty good, causing a pretty nice welp to form, and a slit in his skin causing him to bleed. He was lucky in that his thick hair did much to prevent a full on flow of blood. Twas but a flesh wound.

Isen's noggin was the least of his concerns, and he immediately began to stop, drop, and roll like Drow until he was able to put out the flames. The burns on his legs were serious, but not life-threatening, and with the help of his master, he was fairly sure that scarring on his legs would be minimal with the help of proper healing from Izel or a bacta treatment. Not that he cared about the scars, he was much more concerned in having full use of his legs. That much he was quite positive would not be an issue.

Once clear of flame, Isen held out both hands and Force pulled his unignited lightsabers to his hands. He clipped then back on his belt and took a look at the carnage. He saw the crystal skull where the monster once stood. Strange. There were rocks everywhere. Fire residue, smoke...To Isen though, it smelled, looked, and felt like success. He looked around and found Izel who seemed to be tired from Force exertion, and nodded. He limped over to her, trying to avoid rubbing his legs together because of the burns. "When you're rested up, I could use that healing touch of yours I think," Isen said with a smirk. "For now, I need some fresh air," Isen said and made his way back up the stairs. There was something he wanted to grab. Well, some things, actually.

In the large room that had mostly been brought to the ground by the priest, Isen made his way to the rubble where the Cultist Warrior's body laid, now void of all life. His very essence taken away by the blades of Isen's lightsabers. Isen pushed some rocks away and found the warrior's lightsabers. The padawan gave a look to his surroundings. He was the only one around. He picked up the lightsabers and tucked them away, hidden in the pockets sewn into the inside of his pants. He went outside the perimeter of what once stood a temple and continued another twenty or so meters. He sat down on a rock and contemplated the events of the entire Onderonian campaign. He was proving himself to be extremely formidable with the lightsaber, but he was also proving just how much maturing he still had yet to do.

The time would come when he would be asked to either stand on his own and be a Knight, or the Order would find some other use for him. He gave that a lot of thought as well. "Well," he said to himself, "here's to maturing."

Pain. Drow was in a lot of pain. Ordinarily, a few superficial burn wounds wouldn't have caused him this amount of discomfort but combined with his previous injuries and the strain of using the Force and doing combat with this monster had taken its toll. His combat training ensured he kept rolling until the flames were extinguished but after that, he laid on his back, staring at the sky, the Force depletion, his open wounds and these new burns having taken their toll.

But he'd done his job. He, along with all of his fellow brethren had slain this monstrosity and saved the galaxy (and possibly the Force at large) from a very nasty force of evil. It felt good. Although he still yearned to be of more use to the Order than just with his skills at combat, he was happy that he'd found his place and was able to support his fellows.

However, all he could right now was reflect because without someone to help him to his feet and to lean on, he'd be here languishing in pain for a good bit. He tried his best to make his groans of pain as un-annoying as possible.

The moment the last of the fire creature dissipated Izel let out a gasp and collapsed on the ground, taking deep, painful breaths. She couldn't recall the last time she had exerted herself so much. Every inch of her body was aching from the strain of using the Force so extensively. That on top of all the wounds she was still recovering from and she was surprised she was still conscious at all. Forget Dxun, this entire system was a nightmare! If she never returned to this place again it would still be too soon.

Hearing her apprentice's voice she looked up to see Isen. Still alive and only cooked medium rare from the flames it seemed. As he asked for her to heal him once she had recovered she just nodded, still catching her breath. "Yes. Yes." She replied, waving him off. "I just need a few minutes is all..." After he departed she took a bit more time, just sitting in one spot and recovering her stamina. Finally it was over. The cult was defeated and Onderon was safe. For now anyway. There were still so many more problems that needed solving. Looking up she noticed the skull in the distance. All that remained of their former foe. Curious, she slowly struggled back to her feet, using her pike as a crutch to lean on. Making her way over to the skull she would lean over to grasp it and pick it up. She spent a few moments turning the strange object over in her hands, inspecting it's details.

"Odd..." She muttered to herself before stowing the artifact in her bag. Hopefully Master Tionson or one of the other elders would know what it was. Hopefully something useful. She would remain in the chamber for a time, taking down sketches of the ancient architecture, and offering help to her allies if they needed it. The moment they were ready to leave, she would move with unexpected vigor. Anything to get out of this blasted place...

Drast would half leap-half get thrown by the dying flame monster. Landing rather awkwardly due to the quasi deafness, he quickly deactivated the saber and began to furiously pat down the starting flames on his tunic. Ruined. Of course it was. He would check the skin beneath the tunic, burned. Of course. Sighing, he would glance at the others, glad they had survived the encounter.

He would then head for the entry way, kneeling down before Max and offering the Jedi his saber back. "It's finished, Master.." once Max took his weapon back, Drast would pull the sorcerer's saber free from his belt. "Can you show me to make this good?" It would all come out as a yell, and regardless, he likely wouldn't hear the answer.

Standing up after doing so much mental activity and so little physical activity left Max with a crick in his neck and back but he wasn’t going to stay kneeling a moment longer – it hurt his knees. Taking his saber back from Drastus, he grinned a little bit, patting the young man on the shoulder before reaching up to place a hand on the side of his head.

His hand glowed as he focused on the Force in a healing manner, healing Drast’s hearing after a few seconds of concentration and effort.

“There we go.”
He declared with a grin, patting Drast on the shoulder again, “You did good, Drast. Real good.”

Looking down at the lightsaber that Drastus had liberated from one of the earlier enemies, he eyed it for a moment before nodding in agreement.

“We’ll do it together, when you’re ready. But now? Time for us to go.”
