Open to Imperial Knights Only

The walls were caked in years of dust and neglect, pieces of plaster cracked and falling away, paint faded and sunbleached. It was far from the glorious temples and palaces he and the others were used to, but it was now their home. The old beaten down Castle had been ‘gifted’ by the Director of the ISB to house and base the new Imperial Knights. It wasn’t much to look at, but it was large and suited the needs at least for now.

Most of the outer buildings had broken roofs or crumbled walls, but the main buildings were solid and had the space to house those that had stayed loyal to the Empire after Altair’s declaration. Wodan had arrived a few days earlier than the others, taking time to wander around the great structure and get a feel for the layout and where to base the respective inner branches of the Knights. Then the more senior Ex-Sith came, those that would be taking a more active role within the Knights moving forward, then the rest, they were not many but more than enough that the ISB would be keeping a close eye on them all.

Now most of them had been allocated their dorms, Wodan thought it prudent that he pulled them all together. The Central Hall itself like much of the castle was sparsely decorated three rows of benches ran down the middle of the room set back from a slightly raised dais. They were littered with food and drink from the kitchens, nothing fancy it was hearty, comfort food and drink.

The Lord Commander was dressed in his Imperial Knight Armour, he had requested that all others be dressed the same as this was the first formal gathering of the Knights since their silent inception by the Warmaster and Director. Wodan himself stood slightly nervously at the top of the dais, a few unnamed Knights were around him, offering polite comments about the Castle and their dorms. He knew they were all white-lies, but he smiled and thanked them, a finger hooked into his belt resting close to one of his sabers.

Let's be honest, Varyn lived in a ship. As long as he had a space of his own, he wasn't that picky, although he had to admit this wasn't exactly the greatest step up. Something something, take a step back to take two steps forward.. It would do until such a time as the Knights managed to actually earn some goodwill within the Empire.

He had arrived in his new armor, already getting quite used to wearing it all the time and finding it wasn't even really that uncomfortable. It was pretty well and practically designed, so that it didn't pinch or obstruct in areas you needed to be mobile. All in all, it wasn't that different from his old armor he wore anyway.

His arrival was marked with only a few others being present, and he made his way over to Wodan.

Lord Commander, the Knight-Captain said with a nod and a glance around the hall. Nice to have a place of our own, even if it still probably needs a bit of clean up, he said.

It'll be pretty nice after a little TLC, and gives plenty of space for training, he said.

Aadya wasn't much one to call any one place home. She'd lived in the ship the Sith had given her for years now, but considering all that had gone on in the past few weeks, that really wasn't an option for her anymore. When she'd gotten the summons from the Lord Commander that had talked about a Castle and dorm rooms, she figured she'd show up.

Not like she had anywhere else to go.

It'll give plenty of space for training, Aadya said in a playful mocking tone as she walked into the central hall before saddling up next to Varyn and giving the Lord-Commander an appropriate nod of her head in greeting. You're such a dork, Varyn.

Even though she was making fun of him, it would be clear to Varyn that Aadya was just joking around. The little smile on her face when she cast him a glance would be good evidence of that.

Looking around, Aadya was surprised that she was one of the early ones. All things considered, the castle seemed pretty nice and it would be a refreshing change of pace to have some solid ground to call home.

Hopefully the other Knights wouldn't take too long to show up.

To say there was going be a period of adjustment was taking things lightly. Ailis had just moved into her new 'home', a decrepit old castle who's best features seemed to be the larger variety of dust that had accrued over the various surfaces. The armor she had been issued, it had taken her a few more moments than she would have like to get it all on. The red duraplast plates were heavier than the lighter armor she usually wore, but not too heavy. There was certainly an appeal to the dull red shine they bore.

Brand new boots clicked on the floor of the halls as Ailis entered the central hall where the Lord Commander had called them to meet, they would take some wearing in before she found comfort in them. Overall she felt she cut a rather dashing figure with the black undersuit and clean, uniform red armor plating. Her new lightsaber hung from her belt, the longer than usual hilt hanging almost to her knee.

It was a small gathering, not many Sith had decided to remain with the Empire after the declaration of the New Order. Ailis had personally never been too entwined with the Sith, sure she was good at getting angry and hurting people, but she could never quite grasp the religion of it all, nor the cackling evil ways that one seemed to have to embrace to grow. So she had stayed in hopes of finding a place in the New Order.

"Do tell me that we'll be hiring an exterminator." She said as she approached the gathering of knights. "It will be a dull affair if our first knightly quest is to hunt down the rats that have made their homes here in the castle." She said with a laugh. She recognized a few of the faces, Varyn primarily though she had some knowledge of Aadya. The scarred face of the Lord Commander was a new one, perhaps it would be a good idea for her to show some deference to the man... If she had such a thing in her.

Murderers. A collection of the worst opportunists among the Sith. The first Imperial Knights who betrayed the new self-proclaimed Dark Lord of the Sith by divulging her location and that of her gathering on Junction, to the Imperial Security Bureau. The central hall was rather light, but the souls of those present sure did darken the room. It would take some getting used to the idea that she belonged here now.

Vena entered the central hall in silence. Her new uniform not yet worn in and pulled a bit too tight around the chest. Putting on armor was something she'd need to get used to. "Lord Commander," she nodded towards the chief-knight, or perhaps more fitting; the chief turncloak. "Fellow knights," she offered them a slightly warmer smile to accompany her nods them. She'd probably share a dorm with them, after all. Better to get on their good side.

They may recognize her as a former Sith Acolyte. She had been training on Serenno, a month-long fencing course by Master Fencer Bar Ferdi, at the time of Warmaster Din's announcement and had joined the Force-sensitive nobles that trained there in a declaration of allegiance to the Empire.
