Kol Tulsi

Born and raised on the colder parts of Alderaan, Kol Tulsi was discovered by the Jedi Order at the early age of 13. He, along with other younglings, began studying at the nearest Jedi Temple . Here he met a female student, Korang Ar with whom he quickly bonded. Jedi Master Saxo Dayn took on the role of mentor or master to the young man.
Saxo Dayn, 12 years Kol's senior, first took him to the planet of Ilum to construct a lightsaber of his own – with Saxo's guidance, he was successful before long and Kol had constructed a green lightsaber. Saxo Dayn began teaching him his understanding of the force and helped Kol refine his skills with a lightsaber by bringing him on missions, given to him by the Jedi Council – as was the norm.
Saxo Dayn taught his student, mostly, in aggressive lightsaber forms but still regarded a good defense as a definite must – this demanded Kol to train his body as well as his mind – Kol always excelled at direct lightsaber combat.
Kol Tulsi was granted the rank of Jedi Knight at the age of 15 but continued to train under Saxo, by partnering up with him during missions and campaigns.
During their training, Kol and Korang had begun developing feelings for each other and soon got involved in a secret romantic relationship. Although, as they were both Padawan under two seperate Masters, they drifted apart and it didn't take long for all contact to be lost.
Over the next years Jedi Knight Kol Tulsi took on diplomatic missions for the Jedi Council, as well as escorting and peacekeeping missions. Kol himself took a young knight under his wing, when he was around 33.
After participating as a combatant in the Hundred-Year Darkness, he made a bad judgment call, which resulted in the death of his mentoree. It was the first and only "Padawan" he took under his wing.
Near the end of the conflict Kol Tulsi was sent on a mission, along with a handful of other Jedi – including his old Master, Saxo Dayn.
Sadly, everything went wrong…
Shortly after, Kol set out on his own mission – to find his old master and friend, to find out what happened on that last mission.
Kol is part of the Jedi Order. He serves the Light Side of the Force, but he is currently on his own path with his own objective.
Years have passed since then – Kol went into self-imposed isolation after the aforementioned incident, although he soon met up with another Jedi...

Kol Tulsi is a broken man – having trouble dealing with the acts of war, he has turned to drinking to numb the flashbacks he so often has.
He believes in doing good, and supports the Jedi – yet he has not been in contact with the Council in years. He has his own personal mission to find his old Master – that is his priority. Kol believes the Force might be bigger than what the Jedi and Exiles believe, he hopes to learn more on his own path, so he can help the Jedi once he's finished.
Due to his last mission, he has trouble trusting new people as well as himself to some extent – he is not entirely sure what to believe. For this reason he tends to isolate himself emotionally to some degree. His drinking does not do him any favors in that regard.
