BIOGRAPHY
Born in the poor district of Taris, Kolar was abandoned at a young age and grew up fighting for every scrap he could among the other street rats. Despite not eating as much as the others at first Kolar out grew them at a rather rapid rate. He would not know at the time but he was one of many who suffered from gigantism though due to his lowly stature he had never sought out medical aid for this until he was older.
As he grew older some of the other kids, those that didn’t die or get snatched up by other groups formed a small swoop gang called the Bogstalkers. Kolar due to his size and natural proficiency in violence mostly served as an enforcer, beating those he was pointed at.
For a while things were good, Kolar had a place to eat, sleep, and fight. But unfortunately there is always a bigger fish. When his gang began to bite off more than they could chew in some ill thought out attempt to gain more turf ended up getting wiped out by the much larger ‘Krayt Ravagers’ with Kolar taking a nasty shot to the side and barely making it out alive.
Stuck with the options of dying in some gutter or being forced into another gang against his will. Kolar ended up making his next big choice in life after going to a middling cantina and in a twist of fate, meeting with a young fast talking Rax Halligan. A man who was currently down on his luck and looking to rebuild his fortunes. Kolar couldn’t care less about his personal problems but being in a similar situation he decided to at least hear him out and was rather convinced when Rax told him about his plan to work together to make it big in the Imperial Military.
Having few options or prospects Kolar took the leap of faith and attempted to join the Imperial Defense Force. Due to not having a family name the Imperial recruiter decided to type in N/A for his last name though some sort of typo had to occur removing the slash and creating some confusion, though Kolar never really minded it and kept it since it made things quicker.
While his poor upbringing had made it at first rocky, his strength and already developed skills made basic a walk in the park. After several years of clawing up the ranks through his skill as a fighter, connections with both up and coming military officials and current officers, as well as sheer perseverance Kolar has made it to the rank of Lieutenant. Whether he goes even higher, time will only tell…
Personality
Being an adrenaline junkie with a propensity for violence and growing up in an environment where every day was a matter of survival has made Kolar care very little for anything or anyone that doesn’t directly affect him. However that doesn’t mean he is incapable of being loyal or reliable to his compatriots as Kolar does believe a good turn deserves another as well as a bad turn deserving a blaster bolt.
While Kolar is not dumb by any means he is rather direct minded. His fighting is much like his personality, direct, aggressive, and unyielding. Like a Kathhound after a wounded animal Kolar’s first thought would be the barrel through his obstacles. Though his time in the military has been helping him temper such traits with the discipline required for his position. Regardless, at the end of the day a hound will remain a hound no matter the tricks taught to him, but who better to leash Kolar than the iron will of the Empire?
Skills
Thanks to his build and learning how to brawl, use melee weapons, and blasters from a young age has put Kolar ahead of most of his peers in both athletics as well as combat . Along with the basic training in weapon & armor repair/maintenance, a high propensity towards explosives & heavy weapons, unit tactics, and leadership afforded to him as an officer and imperial trooper. Though any charismatic skills he may have is primarily born of intimidation using his size and skill of violence. Additionally his time in the swoop gang has taught him how to pilot many types of swoops,speeders, and even some spacecraft as well as how to do some basic maintenance and repairs on them.
