B I O G R A P H Y

Kuzon was born the only child to a young couple that belonged to a large extended family. The Lu Ten clan lived in a remote world from within Wild Space. For generations they made their humble living by fishing within a small island community. Growing up Kuzon began to notice his force abilities but chose to ignore it.


When turning sixteen years old Kuzon’s life took a drastic turn. A massive tsunami was sweeping through the region and devastated islands and wiped out entire communities in its path. The young man and his family barely survived the ordeal but many in their village weren’t so fortunate. Desperate to support the family Kuzon left home and sailed for a neighboring country to the west with some of his cousins.


Reaching the capital, the group soon were forced into the local ghetto for migrant workers. They were exploited repeatedly by many for simply being outsiders and vulnerable. Embittered by the experience Kuzon joined a radical group called the Dawn Front for revenge.


Two years later, he was involved with a bombing attempt against the city leader that resulted in only killing many bystanders instead of its original target. The sight of the carnage and unknowingly sensing the death and suffering caused by it shook his soul.


Wounded in the aftermath and guilt ridden he wandered the streets aimlessly. However, Kuzon came upon an offworlder who happened to be an old Jedi working as a doctor. The Jedi took him to her newly opened clinic and treated the young man. At first the Islander was suspicious but the offworlder proved her sincerity during his stay with her and the other patients.


During that time he was forced to consider his actions debating with the Jedi. The latter also explained to him about his force sensitivity and offered to help him join the Order. He turned it down, but chose to stay and help with the clinic. Inspired by the example of the Jedi and having nowhere else to go, Kuzon eventually accepted the offer.


Nearly three weeks later the Jedi healer arranged for him to be sent offworld to Ajan Kloss to begin training.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Kuzon is a young man determined to make the best of situations, whatever comes his way. Coming from a rural background in the frontier he is pretty ignorant when it comes to much of the galaxy. He has an emphatic soul due to his humble upbringing but it is marred with mistrust and trauma because of recent experiences. His greatest struggle now is contending with deep layers of guilt.

Once terrorist he had been willing to kill Kuzon has become extremely reluctant to do so again. It would take people being in extreme danger or self defense for him to take another life. Even then he would prefer a different option if it is possible. Outwardly, Kuzon tries to be polite but can be playfully competitive with others upon getting to know them better. In fact he uses that trait and his determination to try to mask the personal demons within him.

He is especially uncomfortable if reminded of his past crimes and would rather conceal it and focus on other matters. As such the Islander wants to make amends and hopefully find peace in his soul by joining the Jedi Order. Being an initiate Kuzon is not exactly well educated on the subject of the force but is willing to learn.

A B I L I T I E S

From a humble background Kuzon is no stranger to manual labor. As a result he is physically strong though only by an average estimate and can swim well enough and sail small boats. His time with the Dawn Front radicals has given the young man experience with guerrilla warfare along with using blasters(rifles and pistols), driving speeders during getaways and some handling with makeshift explosives. In addition he can fight with his fists and a metal staff well enough but is not a expert martial artist by any means.


On the other hand Kuzon is no starship pilot and is secretly terrified at the prospect if someone tries to make him fly. Despite being force sensitive he is wholly inexperienced in the ways of the force. While able to sense certain things Kuzon can’t center his focus and in fact overwhelms him. Plus he barely has deep knowledge of the galaxy beyond what he reads and watches on the holonet. He speaks and understands Basic plus his native dialect and some droidspeak but nothing else.
