Lamilla Merrik (born in 6920 BBY on Corsin) is Mandalorian through upbringing but persuing a free form lifestyle. Recently graduating Coruscant University she is young and looking to explore the galaxy with what she's learned and make her mark. She has as much opportunity as uncertainty on what lies ahead.

▵Biography
While Lamilla was born and raised on Corsin her father was a mandalorian mercenary hailing from Mandalore. He worked a lot along the mandalorian road and met Lamilla's mother on a job. They saw each other off and on for a few years before Lamilla was born. At this time they settled down and started to live a rather normal life style. Lamilla grew up like an ordinary galactic citizen for the most part. Her father made sure she did not have to deal with the inter-clan beefs and conflicts. As a child she was unable to pronounce her own name. Her parents refered to her as Lami
As Lamilla grew into her teens her father started to teach her to defend herself. Nothing as extreme as some of the mandalorian training regimes some experience but enough to allow her to drop kick any boys at school that got a bit too handsy. The girl had the regular teenage experience, two loving parents, mild boredom and rebelious streak, etc. Her desire to escape the planet and go off on her own and all the pleasant living made her dad realize he needed to teach her even more about self sufficiency. He had been in denial about how much she had grown up, not wanting to face the fact she had grown into a young woman. So grudgingly he taught her more and more about the traditional mandalorian ways. All the while everyone else in her life thought she was the same old girl next door.
The girl group up breaking a few hearts. She spent a lot of time at the beach or hiking the cliffs near her town. Tourists would come a few times a years, more than once she would be mentioned by foreign kids as that angel they met on Corsin.
Lamilla would continue to keep up this image even when she finally moved off to college for study. She lived on Corsucant for four years at the Corsuscant University. There she met plenty of people, partied like a college kid and enjoyed her experiences. While she did excell in her classes she ended up having a crazy idea to fight crime at night. Perhaps it was some inspiration from the classic holo-dramas or a desire to better the galaxy. In between her classes she would venture into the lower levels of Coruscant and fight crime like a cliche super hero. While she got hurt quite a bit starting out she learned more from her failures. It was not meant to be bounty hunting for the sake of payment, it was more about taking down bad guys that needed to be stopped. Getting paid in the process was a bonus.
If being an unlicensed bounty hunter traveling under the cover of darkness was not enough for her she found plenty of competition and exercise on the University swim team. She competed against other schools and even won a few trophies. As always her parents were happy she was just like any other college kid as far as they knew, though she was remarkably better than most.
After her time at the University she realized she could not stayed. Some of her friends already suspected her and her late nights out. She had barely made the necessary grades of her own standards which were still top the of the class, along with kicking butt and taking names. Now she had multiple reasons to venture out into the galaxy and make a name for herself and experience her own adventure. Fighting crime in the lower levels of Coruscant had just been a hobby, a strange one, but a hobby none the less. Now Lamilla had a degree and more experience than most young adults but it was not enough. The stars would hold her future and she intended to grasp it with both hands.

Personality and traits
Lamilla was born into a family that loved her. She is an only child and has never felt like she was lacking in support and love. Her life thus far has been pretty well off coming from a middle class family that did not suffer much from the aftermath of the Hundred Years of Darkness. As such she does not have to deal with a lot of hardship that others have experienced. A strong moral compass she does what is right whenver she can, standing up for people who are in a tough spot as well as keeping an open mind to the issues in the galaxy.
Her father taught her about the mandalorian way of life and her mother was not opposed to this. She understood that it was a part of her daughter's heritage and while she did not want Lamilla going off fighting a war on behalf of someone else she could not hide her away from the galaxy. As such Lamilla has a foot in the mandalorian way of life and the simple Republic civilian type of lifestyle.
Still new to her adulthood she cannot be blamed for her unkempt nature at times. She spent a whole simester eating nothing but micro-wave noodles out of their prepackaged styrofoam cups. Lamilla does not care too much about the expensive things in life, it is more about the little joys here and there she can pickup and the people she spends her time with.

Powers and abilities
As a teenager on Corsin she was exposed to the water quite frequently. What some people saw as a vacation spot it was just her backyard. She learned how to swim and even rescue people. Knowledge of marine wildlife exists in her sharp mind as well as first aid. She spent time as a life guard during the summer time when she visited home and also continued the profession in indoor pools on Coruscant. Infact she earned a few trophies in competitive swimming for Corsucant University.
Fishing came with living on Corsin but wilderness survival and complete self sufficiency was taught to her by her father. Terrestrial navigation, basic combat tactics as well as hand to hand combat. She has learned to be a decent shot with a blaster but so far has not had to kill anyone though a few people getting hit with stun bolts in her time as a vigilante (unlicensed bounty hunter).
While she is not a slicer she did have a few of her geek friends in college. They taught her a few things here and there about basic communication concepts and the related technology. This plus her younger generation experience means she can be pretty handy when it comes to technology.
