The scent of cigara smoke still hung with a stale tinge in the air. The sound of the ocean roared and hissed outside an open window, slowly dragging the air with a tinge of salt. On her tongue, she could still taste traces of the champagne they had bought; her head pounded dully with every heartbeat, and she was boiling hot. One warm body was pressed into her front; his hair draped over her face, an arm around her hips. Sleepily, she smiled, curling her hand against the figure there.
But there was another, pressed from behind. She could feel him breathing on her back, slow and steady, his arm wrapped around her waist.
Silk sheets were a luxury, but the pair of them were already furnaces to begin with, and she was bursting from the night before. Glitterryll had been involved sometime, she knew that, there were possibly still some traces of it on her stomach all the way down to--
She snapped into full alertness then, just thinking about that. Oh, so it was both of them. In the dim lightly, she saw the outline of one profile in the moonlight and ambience; she shifted slightly and saw the arms of the other, and despite the pain gave a long, luxuriant smile.
At last.
Slowly easing herself from the combined twining of their arms, she almost sighed in relief at the cool air that rushed in, and slowly eeled her way to the edge of the bed. Somewhere, she knew she had a robe, but she wasn't going to bother hunting for it; there was always another. Pulling a soft white one down from a hook the maid had left the night before, she padded down towards the bathroom first.
Possibly after that, she could get some caf in her and feel a little more like something from the living rather than the nearly dead, Force gifts or no it couldn't necessarily purge all the toxins from her system at once. Almost on cue, her stomach growled fiercely in protest, and she rubbed it sleepily, shutting the door behind her.
How long have we been out of it?
