DESCRIPTION
The LARYN-X is a video laryngoscope used for intubation. It requires a plastic cover specifically designed for the model.This system, when combined with the VISIMO or MOVISIMO, allows users to activate "Intubation-Mode" on the monitor. (This system is also compatible with any monitor that supports intubation).
Once "Intubation-Mode" is initiated, you can view the video feed from the laryngoscope. During intubation, the pressure sensor alerts the user about excessive pressure and indicates whether the epiglottis has been passed. After passing the epiglottis and upon confirmation of correct positioning by the LARYN-X, the device advises whether to lift the laryngoscope ventrally or tilt it in any direction. The head unit with the camera auto-adjusts for optimal intubation, guided by the pressure sensors.
When the endotracheal tube is inserted, the device (in conjunction with the VENT-L) informs you whether to insert it deeper or withdraw it slightly.
The tube is automatically secured by the laryngoscope.
Once the tube is properly positioned and secured, you can fixate it, completing the procedure.
