Allerius Katress

j6TDUxZ.jpg
Name: Allerius Katress
Age: 34 years, born 466 ABC
Gender: Male

Species: Human
Homeworld: Alderaan

Faction: Imperial Republica
Role: Sith Assasin
Rank: Sith Acolyte

Height: 1.8 meters
Weight: 161 pounds
Skin Colour: Caucasian
Eye Colour: Yellow

Force Sensitive: Sith Academy Trained
Alignment: Lawful Evil

APPEARANCE:
Standing at just under 6′0″ the man carries himself with the confidence of an aristocrat while moving with the grace of swordsman. Despite his social status decades of physical training has provided with him an athletic build which he maintains through frequent martial practice.

A Caucasian Human of Alderaan his once healthy complexion has grown noticeably paler as his connection to the Dark Side has strengthened. Likewise his Emerald eyes have transformed to a luminous, sulfuric yellow yet remain as piercing as ever. His auburn hair has grown darker, likely due to the Dark Side’s influence, and is tied back in a loose but tidy style. A well groomed beard of the same shade sweeps across his chiseled jawline with the sides kept shorter to make the front appear more prominent. Of note the man has a small, faint, cross shaped scar near his left temple.

On a typical day-to-day basis his attire of choice is black or dark grey robes which are often made of expensive fabrics to indicate his standing in society. He frequently only wears one lightsaber openly while keeping the shoto hidden if possible. On the job however such outfits will change to match his needs and, of course, he has his armour for when his identity needs to be kept hidden.

PERSONALITY:
Formal, polite, pleasant; Allerius defies typical Sith stereotypes treating those he encounters equally regardless of status or ability to wield the force. A classic aristocratic education, enforced by his Sith Training on Ossus, has helped to sharpen these qualities.

In private the true nature of the Alderaanian is more apparent. Still polite his tone becomes more sarcastic, his humour drier and darker as he no longer worries about public appearances.

Either way the man lies as easily as he breathes, enjoying the spinning of tales and leaving one to guess fact from fiction. Despite his deceptive nature the man has a strong streak of loyalty. Those he favours have an ally no matter the what. Exhibiting great fidelity towards the well being of the Empire at large, specifically the Imperial Republica, he hopes the divide between the two Sith factions can be mended.

As an Adept Allerius believes in a disciplined and measured approach to the Dark Side. It is because of this he has managed to avoid becoming a slave to his passions as many Sith fall prey to. When he does get angry, fury burns cold within while his tight grasp upon his emotions keep his rage under control.

BIOGRAPHY:
The son of a minor but wealthy Alderaanian nobility, Allerius lived a life of luxury in Aldera but as he grew older he began to feel stifled by the lifestyle expected of him. Sneaking out at night Allerius would associate with children from the lower classes in the Capital. Eventually his parents found out about their son’s misdeeds and they sent him away to the Alderaanian Junior Imperial Academy. Much to the surprise of his parents, the willful young Nobleman turned out to be a promising student.

Shortly after his 16th birthday he was offered a transfer to the Coruscanti Imperial Academy to pursue the Intelligence Services curriculum rather than the standard officer program. Far more exciting to him than Naval service, he leapt at the opportunity. Allerius found he loved Coruscant although he would still sneak into the lower levels to associate with thugs and thieves.Things seemed to be going smoothly until he was taken aside after the end of his Year 1 assessment. A Sith Lord who had been observing informed him that it had been staged to check some suspicions that the teenager was force sensitive. The results were conclusive and he was to be transferred to the local Sith Academy immediately.

Starting his Force Training on Ossus Allerius would have the highest quality education he had ever, or would ever, have and yet he found himself quite unhappy. Constantly forced to feign an interest in the trivial conversation of the mindless social elite among the student body, he developed a knack for fabricating a fitting persona so he could fit in with those fools upon whom he silently looked down. However not everything was despicable about the Academy and Allerius found both Lightsaber Combat and Political Studies to be fascinating. He even became thankful for the loathing the other students invoked in him; that hatred fuelled him throughout his years at the institute. There was more than just the instructors teaching the young man. Navigating the rivalries and social interactions of the other acolytes taught Allerius how to forge alliances and manipulate others to fulfil his goals.

Once he graduated the Academy with an impressive record the scion of House Katress returned home. After only a few months of helping his father manage their House the 23 year old couldn’t take it anymore and signed up for a one year apprenticeship on Coruscant. Here he worked directly for the Sith Lord Addas, a covert Sith Agent for Imperial Intelligence. Working in the shadows suited him while Addas uncovered the young man’s talent for the more covert aspects of the Force. Once the apprenticeship ended Allerius was told that he could join Addas if he wished although the elder Sith recommended another path that would expand his talents. False credentials in hand, a parting gift from Addas, the 24 year old enrolled at the Sith Academy on Umbra under the name Soren Misu.

Allerius found this less prestigious Academy far more to his liking. Everything about the facility was more engaging. With a focus upon producing Assassins and Infiltrators rather than Sith Knights the young Nobleman was free to indulge his darker talents. Even his fellow students were of more interest, many of whom were of the lowest classes or came with a criminal background. There was also a more diverse range of species present than the predominantly human base at Ossus. It was his time here that eradicated the last vestiges of Allerius’ innate pro-human and lower-classes discrimination.

Already a fully fledged Sith, Allerius appeared as if he were a prodigy and finished the Academy’s Curriculum in two years. Towards the end of the last year Allerius had a power force vision; he saw himself wounded with a beautiful Lethan Twi’lek standing over him, crimson saber in hand. Shortly after this he skipped out on his graduation and returned to Alderaan.

Upon his return Allerius’ parents were furious that their 26 year old, who had vanished for 2 years with only a vague note about his disappearance for them to find. To appease them he revealed he had secured Employment through the Sith Order and would be working for the Imperial Diplomatic Corps. In truth this was the cover given to Allerius after his acceptance into the Imperial Intelligence Services. His duties varied from Assassination or Infiltration missions, to simple observation under the guise of a minor Imperial Diplomat at the embassy of whichever planet he was sent. During his leisure time Allerius would frequently visit his aging parents or spend time in some of the scummiest dens in the Galaxy. Keeping his connections with the criminal underworld strong seemed wise in case he ever had need of their special services.

On the first year of his Imperial Service the Sith Assassin was sent to kill a traitorous Sith Lord on Shili. Reports about why were conflicting, some said he had fallen to the Light Side of the Force while others said he had sided with those disloyal to the Throne. Perhaps he simply pissed off someone powerful. Regardless Allerius killed him after catching the Togruta by surprise but in turn was caught off-guard by the traitor’s apprentice whom the Imperial Intelligence reports had not mentioned. The young woman seemed to have the same innate talent for Force Stealth as Allerius did. He realised that the female Twi’lek, probably no older than 20, looked remarkably similar to the female from his vision albeit younger. Instead of killing her he swiftly defeated the partially trained Force Adept before securing her. Dragging her to the local Imperial facilities he secured a shock collar to her throat. Once she awoke he made sure she knew what it did. He informed her that the Empire had declared her master a traitor and so he had been exterminated. He also told her that it was impossible to know if his traitorous teachings had infected his student too so, if she wanted to survive, she’d keep her mouth shut and play the part as his clueless slave.

Commandeering an Imperial Shuttle he flew them back to Coruscant. On the journey he pondered his next step. Technically he should have killed the girl but something had stopped him. The future was a difficult thing to predict and Allerius was no Sith Master. What if he was wrong… what if in the vision she hadn’t been standing over him in victory? What if she had been protecting him from something worse? The memory of the vision was blurred like a half-forgotten dream but he believed than in the last moments of it she had been standing over him, turning to face the unseen foe. Of course visions weren’t always literal either, he could remember an instructor on Ossus saying how such things could not be trusted for they sometimes were metaphorical.

Coming to a conclusion he brought the girl, Talik Kru, to the Sith Academy on Coruscant and enrolled her, the paperwork indicating that he’d purchased her on the black market after sensing her force sensitivity. He also noted she had some minor training from him already. Sensing the hatred within her, he told her to learn well and she might one day have her revenge. Periodically the Sith Assassin arrived to check on her progress, feeding her hatred towards him in the hope that she’d grow as strong as possible. She held great promise and he wanted to see if fulfilled, he told himself it was just for the shield she would one day become when he wondered why he put in so much effort. Talik would disappoint him somewhat in that he had expected her to graduate swiftly but instead she took 8 years to finish.

Now he has returned to the Imperial Intelligence HQ on Coruscant and awaiting the new partner he has arranged for himself to see what the fates had in store for them both.

SKILLS:
► Sith Assassin - Allerius has the formal training of a Sith Knight and Assassin from the Academies of Ossus and Umbara. Although a skilled swordsman the majority of talents lie in the realms of subterfuge. He still stands low in terms of power and prestige within the Empire however.
► Skilled Lightsaber Combatant - Along with Stealth Allerius’ skill with a lightsaber is amongst his greatest strengths. He is a practitioner of Form I and Form IV, including the Jar’Kai forms, although he hopes to expand into the other Forms one day.
► Dark Side Adept - Allerius has the common skills of a trained Sith. His greatest strengths, and those he trained most diligently, were Force Stealth Techniques and Force Sense Techniques.
► Sith Alchemist - Allerius is an almost completely useless student of Sith Sorcery. The one thing he has learned to use is a mild application of the Sith Alchemy technique known as The Mask to hide the visible signs of his Dark Side corruption. He is trying to learn how to change his features completely.
► Aristocrat - Born and raised amongst nobility, with a natural accent and way of speaking to match, he fits in with upper society easily. It is because of this that he can easily keep his cover in the Diplomatic Services.
► Fighter Pilot - Allerius has extensive training and experience flying single man fighter class spacecrafts when on assignment, and is as skilled as an average Sith with the same background. He does not have any experience flying larger ships.

POSSESSIONS:
► 1 x Single Bladed Red Lightsaber
► 1 x Single Bladed Red Shoto Lightsaber
► 1 x Holdout Blaster Pistol
► 1 x Standard Sith Assassin Armour
► 1 x Cux-Class Starfighter
► 1 x Imperial Intelligence Datapad

Biography
____________________________________

Born on the Outer-Rim to a retired Imperial Agent and a disgraced academic who had left Coruscant for personal reasons. They raised the boy as well as they could, his father teaching him some martial skills and piloting lessons while his mother imparted upon him an education and stories about the legendary Jedi Knights who once protected the galaxy. When he was the appropriate age his parents revealed they had savings from their former lives in the core and sent the boy to study at the University of Coruscant.

Aurelian’s studies went flawlessly earning a degree in History and Philosophy. He would pursue a postgraduate programme which officially was around the topic of the early Imperial Era. In truth the student travelled across the galaxy on research trips while searching for Jedi Lore. He had learnt that his mother had lost her teaching position at the academy for doing the same, avoiding a worst fate thanks to her husband interceding which cost him his career. However Aurelian was certain he could succeed where she failed. He was wrong.

While out in the mid-rim Aurelian received two messages. One was from a peer warning him that Imperial Agents had cleaned out his room. The second was an encoded message from his father warning him not to come home, that Agents where on the way to their home to search for him.

For the next few years Aurelian would wander the galaxy, collecting notes on Jedi Lore be they fact or legend. He would frequently help out at various charity organisations, usually shelters, to earn some soup and a roof over his head.

Eventually he met Ner’Giza and after a short job together she asked him to join the growing rebellion against the Empire. He did so after she flew him back to Orron III and he saw his family’s farm was abandoned.

Now a rebel he worries that he brings nothing useful to the growing rebellion. However he is glad to be helping people although deep inside he still seeks out a greater purpose in life.

Personality
__________________________________________________

Aurelian is a quiet and introverted man being more comfortable watching a group than participating with one. Despite everything the man has lost he has not lost hope that there might be a better future just around the corner. Perhaps that corner will not be turned until after his time has past but one day he thinks it will happen. A compassionate individual his heart aches for the suffering he sees around him on an all too frequent basis. However as hopeful as he might be Aurelian is not naive, he has lost too much for that and he understands the need for patience, to wait for the correct moment for action. Although in recent times Aurelian’s research has definitely slowed down his obsession with Jedi Lore has not vanished, he believes that there is value in uncovering the teachings of the extinct Order and perhaps only their teachings can counter the evil of the Sith Order.

Skills
__________________________________________________

Aurelian is first and foremost an academic and the topic closest to his heart for as long as he can imagine is the lost lore of the Jedi. However thanks to his parents he has more skill than just a researcher. His father ensured his son was a capable swordsman, something sharpened by years at the University duelling club and later experience was gained in numerous self-defence scenarios while travelling across the galaxy. He is also a more than capable pilot although he has absolutely no combat piloting experience. Despite not considering himself much of a combatant he keeps himself in good physical shape thanks to the daily Vibrosword drills that he learnt from his father growing up.

There are a variety of other minor skills that Aurelian has picked up from his years on the run. He is an adequate amateur slicer and he has picked up bits of his best friends native tongue. He has also had cause to practice is fairly mediocre marksmanship skills.

Biography

____________________________________

Tarsus was born on Coruscant into the privileged life of the Drast Dynasty, albeit of a more minor branch of the family. Identified as Force Sensitive at a young age he began his force training early from Sith relatives as well as being given a classical aristocratic core world education focused on the arts, politics, history, literature and other important topics. When he was old enough he entered the Coruscanti Sith Temple for training in which he excelled as was expected for a member of his bloodline. While at the academy he was considered especially gifted at sensing others through the force and lightsaber combat which, upon his graduation, led to him working directly for the Order and Intelligence Agency to track down traitorous force adepts.

In his free time Tarsus navigated Republica high society with ease. Handsome, articulate, intelligent, pleasant and confident no challenge was too big for this up and comer. Popular with the ladies of Coruscant and a target for envy from other members of the Order he seemed to lead a gifted life. By his mid twenties he was sure that he was only months away from an inevitable promotion. Then the incident happened.

It was on one of his usual assignments to track down a Sith gone rouge in the Expansion Region. Tracking down the target and finally confronting him on Umbara the Drast tried to use his usual approach of trying to persuade his opponent mid-duel. Tarsus however grossly underestimated his opponent however and was nearly killed, only surviving thanks to the Imperial Security Team that had accompanied him.

Awaking on Coruscant he found his features marred with a prosthetic eye and metal plating covering a large portion of the right half of his face while his right arm was replaced with a cybernetic limb. Both prosthetics were incredibly cumbersome and unattractive which drove the man into a rage. He never knew who had ordered such hideous mechanical replacements except it was someone higher up within the expansive Drast Family. Socially he became an outcast, his personality grew morose and his now horrifying appearance lost him any place at the events and parties he used to attend. Perhaps worst Tarsus was only a shadow of his former Sith self. His strength in the force diminished significantly, his ability to utilise force techniques practically vanished and his confidence was negligible.

Retreating from his former life the failed Sith Acolyte eventually fled to a family home on Ossus. Here shortly after his 30th Birthday he made an attempt to repair the damage to himself by attending the academy there on Ossus however the institute was one for the children of rich and powerful families from the Empire. Despite his own status as a Drast his looks and weakness made him a target for ostracisation from Teachers and Students alike. After four years of this Tarsus left unable to stand those people any longer. However he had come to the conclusion that only through dedication to the Dark Side could he hope to regain his power. He also began to see the Sith of the Republica as foolish trend obsessed parodies of what the Sith were supposed to be.

At 35 years old Tarsus decided to go to the seat of Dark Side Power, if not Imperial Power, within the Empire. Korriban. To his surprise it was the Old Empire SIth that accommodated his requests far more than the Ossus Instructors had. He took classes at night, apart from the normal students, retraining as a Sith Acolyte from scratch. Here he saw actual improvement, although slower than he would like, as he regained some of his power.

In his 3rd year he was placed with the senior academy students to compete against them and was considered on par with them. Something he had nearly given up on ever reaching again. Graduating soon after he was offered a job by those in service to the Dark Lord of the Old Empire working in an Inquisitorial type role. Tracker and interrogator both he has excelled in his new occupation although he still feels like he is a shadow of his former self but he believes the Dark Side holds the answer to his weaknesses.

As tensions came to a head between the Dark Lord of the Sith and the Emperor, the Drast was unsure which side to choose. Torn between the loyalty and gratitude he felt towards the Old Empire and his allegiance to the Drast Dynasty, and subsequently the young Emperor, Tarsus deliberated reluctant to choose. However with the glassing of Medriaas and the death of so many Sith whom he'd come to know on Korriban, Tarsus made his choice. It was the Dark Lord of the Sith that Tarsus sided with against the majority of the Drasts. Tarsus hopes for a swift resolution to the war and that a new stronger Empire will rise from the necessary tragedy.

Personality

__________________________________________________

Once Tarsus was a fulfilled and cheerful man, a rising star in the Imperial Republica Sith Ranks. He was far more pleasant, even kind, than typical for his order and could be considered as a poster boy for how a Sith from the Core Worlds were expected to behave, weaving his way through the games of politics with great joy and finesse. The young man’s confidence was equally only by his vanity. However he has changed completely since Umbara.

Bitter and sullen, Tarsus is a dark reflection of his former self no longer resembling an aristocratic Drast from Corsucant. His sense of humour has grown macabre and cruel often finding amusement at the expense of others, smiling at the suffering he sees around him. He still carries some of the trappings of nobility that he once loved but they are no longer fashionable instead sticking to blacks and dark crimson, this is a small allowance he gives himself to remember that despite all that has happened he is still a Drast. Although he has fallen far Tarsus is still a prideful individual but unlike in the past he can swallow such pride when necessary. Despite finding a place in the Old Empire he has come under some criticism for being a coward. He has struck down unarmed opponents, used the innocent and weak as bait for those he’s been ordered to hunt down and is quick to flee battle if he finds himself to be outmatched preferring to live and fight another day.

Tarsus once proclaimed his loyalty frequently to the Republica but really only cared for himself, now he rarely speaks of such things but feels a great debt and loyalty towards the Old Empire for helping him find his way. He hopes that one day he can serve the Dark Lord forever. His ambition which in his younger years was aimed towards social climbing is now geared towards serving his new Master and deepening his knowledge of the Dark Side. Despite having sided against the current Emperor Tarsus hopes that the rift can be healed and new leadership, the leadership of the Dark Lord, will lead the entire Empire into a new Golden Age. Tarsus still cares deeply for the Drast Dynasty however and hopes that it will retain its prominent position in the New Order to come.

Once an exceptionally charismatic young man he always tried to talk his way out of things which was helped by his handsome visage accompanied by his innate polite and courteous attitude. He would befriend his targets to make his job easier. Now he sometimes still tries to do this but is far quicker to violence that he once was. His charisma is still present but has become a darker, colder and often crueller aspect. Taking advantage of his ghastly cybernetics to invoke fear he will often use a forceful voice to unsettle his opponents. However he is, and always had been, a naturally soft spoken individual who appears outwardly calm. A lot of these traits are what have led Tarsus to frequently being assigned to interrogation roles within the Empire.

Powers and Skills

__________________________________________________

  • Lightsaber Swordsman - Tarsus has always been a skilled swordsman. When he was younger the Drast had mostly used a jar’kai variant of Ataru however he blames this style for losing his arm. Instead he has reverted to using the more classical and stable Shii-Cho style, he is also outwardly disdainful of the use of two lightsabers since his injuries.
  • Dark Side Adept - Although only a shadow of his former self in terms of his Dark Side prowess the man has attended three academies (Coruscant, Ossus and Korriban) over the years to study the Sith Arts. Now a Sith of the Old Empire he is slowly reforging his connection to the Dark Side.
  • Refined Force Senses - This was Tarsus’ speciality once upon a time, one that he is slowly rediscovering. The man is able to track force sensitives by ripples in the force. This has allowed to him to seek out traitorous Sith, rogue force adepts and even unrealised force sensitives for recruitment into the Order.
  • Mind Trick Practitioner - Tarsus has studied mind tricks extensively, especially the use of the more intrusive mind probes although he is still mastering the skill.
  • Telekinetic - Tarsus has an average ability with Telekinesis, sometimes he overestimates the power required for the use of more delicate applications of this skill.
  • Torturer - There’s not really anyway to put a nice spin on this. Tarsus is unusually gifted at inflicting pain without allowing his target to expire.
  • Pilot - In his service to both the Republica and Old Empire when he sought out his targets he has often needed to fly his own craft. He also has Imperial Combat Pilot training although not a lot of experience in starfighters.
  • Basic Maintenance - Tarsus has learnt the importance of maintaining what he owns and acquired enough skills to make repairs on such things as: his ships, droids, not to mention his mechanical arm, while keeping his mechanical devices in good repair. For long-term drastic repairs, however, he relies on those who specialize in mechanics and cybernetics.
  • Xenolinguistics - First and foremost he is fluent in Sith and has been for years however Tarsus has always had an easy time picking up languages. His exposure to other languages was rare during his days living in Republica territory. Since moving to the Old Empire and working alongside aliens he has picked up the basics of numerous other languages.

Tarsus Drast’s Armour

After the grevious, nearly fatal, injuries on Umbara Tarsus decided to put time and effort into a more personalised variant of the Sith Marauder Armour he had been using at the time.

The final product is an amalgamation of durable armour covering with the trappings of intimidating black and red Sith Robes. The hooded mask is designed in such a fashion to completely hide his features to enhance the terrifying countenance the armour gives..

LEGALITY

Perfectly legal within known space but obviously marks Tarsus out as being a Sith and as such might make him unwelcome in some places.

INTENT

To serve as Tarsus Drast’s main form of battle armour, customised for extra protection over the typical Sith Marauder armour.

ADVANCED TECH

NO

ARMAMENT

EQUIPMENT

DESCRIPTION
The Malla-class starfighter was a type of snubfighter designed by the Wookiees to defend Kashyyyk from slavers and others with ill-intent. The class was given the name malla, the Wookiee word for "green," due to its distinctive green coloration (though some undergo paint jobs and can have different colors). The design and specifications for the snubfighter were eventually given to the Galactic Alliance by Wookiee sympathizers and shipbuilders; as a result, some Malla starfighters can be found among the rebel fleet.

The snubfighter was appealing to the rebellion due to similar specifications to the more widespread RX/5 starfighters and was slightly cheeper to produce than the SP2 Stardancer due to the lack of a dedicated navicomputer. Instead, the Malla-class had sockets for astromech droids, which would act as navigators for their pilots, storing up to ten jumps at a time. Otherwise, the fighter had all of the normal equipment of a snubfighter, including two light laser cannons and a concussion missile launcher, all of which allowed it to attack ground targets.

Also appealing is the ship's hyperdrive, which allows it to jump through hyperspace and strike at critical targets at a moment's notice. They were commonly deployed for reconnaissance and escort purposes, and were also used to engage enemy fighters as part of a fighter screen in fleet battles. With a maximum speed of 90 MGLTs, this snubfighter is a force to be reckoned with.

LEGALITY
Restricted. In civilized systems, pilots must be properly licensed or be members of recognized armed groups.

INTENT
To create a reskin of two pre-made starfighters for Wookiee use and for Star Squadron in particular. As such the Green Star's pilot is Jedi Initiate Aurelian Keth; call sign Star Six.

ADVANCED TECH
No. As it is modeled on the SP2 Stardancer, Malla starfighters are available, although being legally restricted makes them non-trivial for the average individual to own.

Aurelian Keth's Flight Suit

A flight suit cobbled together from half a dozen different original pilot flight suits from all over the galaxy. With the Galactic Alliance being what it is there is no official attire for Rebel Pilots and much simply make do with that they can find. This particular suit is comprised only of second hand pieces.

Aurelian put this one together soon after his admission into Star Squadron. He scrounged up the various pieces. The Helmet he was given by another rebel pilot, the boots where purchased off an old mercenary, the gloves where acquired from a black market on Ryloth and the Padawan isn't even sure where the flightsuit itself is from having found it in an old store on Tatooine.

LEGALITY

Perfectly legal, there's nothing about this flightsuit that would suggest the wearer's allegiance or even origins.

INTENT

To serve as the main attire for Aurelian when serving as part of Star Squadron. Also to show an example of a random pieced together rebel flight suit.

ADVANCED TECH

NO

Type and Coverage

Type: Light Armor

Coverage:

  • Head: Front and back of the head and neck. (Pilot's Helmet)
  • Lower Legs: Feet, shins and calves, knees. (Reinforced boots)t

Chodo Fonwim is a Nature Priest of Ithor following his people's own unique religion. This particular Ithorian has chosen to not lead a herd. Sensing the imbalance in the Force he has chosen to instead explore beyond his planet’s borders. Out on his own amongst the dangers of the galaxy he is slowly beginning to realise that as utterly distaste as violence may be that it is sometimes necessary in self-defence.

Biography

___________________________________

Born into a line with a history of Force Sensitivity it came as no great surprise to anyone when Chodo was discovered to also be capable of learning to wield the Force by his Herd’s Priest. When the Ithorian was a young teenager he began his training become apprenticed to one of the senior Priest who had detected his gift all those years ago.

Chodo proved to be strong with the Force being capable of connecting with the Mother Jungle. He showed some other gifts too such as being able to help ease the pain of others or as using the Force to help the Herd’s farmers.

When he turned 23 years old his apprenticeship was called to an end. He served as a Priest for a short while but shortly announced that he would like to explore the galaxy alone instead of going on one of his people’s herdships. A trained pilot he was given an old light freighter by a member of his Herd who had once used as a travelling merchant until his retirement.

As time passed it became obvious that Chodo was ignorant of the ways of the universe and hopelessly naive. He’d grown up on a world where everything that was needed was provided by the community and he’d never even met a criminal before with Ithor being as peaceful as it is.

Half a year into his exploration and he was broke, having lost all his money to conmen, pickpockets and flat out robbery but at least he had his ship. Things came to a head two months ago with Chodo being down to his last few credits when he was being mugged on the streets of Taris, a potentially lethal end to his travels, when a Selkath saved him.

This Selkath went by the name Myjin Roin. The aquatic alien seemed to take pity on him and began to teach him the common sense he would need to survive away from Ithor as well as some self-defence skills despite Chodo’s initial protestations. The pair have recently met a young Twi’lek female called Xiann who seems to enjoy their company, she has mentioned off-handedly that she would like to leave on the Argent Thorn when the pair depart Taris. For Chodo has been spending his days on Taris volunteering at a small hydroponics farm in the lower cities to help grow food for the impoverished.

Personality

__________________________________________________

Chodo is not your typical Ithorian. Whilst he shows many of the usual stereotypical traits associated with his species; a love of unspoiled nature, a great respect for peace and a vocal view of violence being abhorrent he is also different. Despite being a Nature Priest he chose not to help lead his Herd but to instead walk amongst the stars driven by a need to explore.

Although a pacifist he has, in recent weeks, come to the realisation that something it is necessary to fight back in self-defence or, more importantly, in the defence of others. He does not believe that this allowance makes it right but only a sad necessity. He sees it as a personal sacrifice to dirty his soul with violence when such moments come.

Chodo, being a quiet and peaceful being, would prefer to spend his time in tranquil solitude. Meditating and communing with whatever world he is walking upon, even those planets that suffer from having their natural beauty destroyed by sentient lifeforms building too much over their surface. However despite these preferences he is, like many Ithorians, a conversationalist who loves to engage with strangers and listen to their tales.

The Ithorian likes to spend time, when he’s not travelling aboard his freighter, working with plants. Whether this is gardening or farming Chodo gets a great deal of pleasure watching things grow.

Coming from Ithor, a world of peace, it hurts Chodo to the core when he sees suffering and often do whatever he can to help those in need. However he can be exceptionally naive and it is often down to his companions to stop the Priest from walking into dangerous situations out of ignorance.

Powers and Skills

__________________________________________________

  • Nature Priest - Trained in the way of his peoples Force Users Chodo is capable of sensing the Force. He is capable of empathy and telepathy as well as some rather minor applications of telekinesis and plant surge. His powers are more potent if he is amongst nature, drawing strength from such surroundings due to the Ithorian Religion setting the principles of his Force training. Unique amongst his species is the use of Force Bellow utilising his their four throats and two mouths. However being a pacifist Order none of his training his applicable to combat.
  • Light Side Adept - Although from a minor Force Organisation Chodo has undergone Light Side Force training and can tap into it’s soothing flow. It should be noted the power provided by this sort of training pales in comparison to the great Sith and Jedi Orders but then that’s not the point of the Priesthood.
  • Green Thumb - With a mixture of his innate Ithorn tendency towards nature, his training as a Nature Priest and his Light Side abilities Chodo is a gifted farmer and gardener.
  • Swordsman - Up until two months ago Chodo had never even touched a weapon. Since then Myjin Roin has convinced him to learn to defend himself and has been given the Ithorian a crash course in the use of a vibroblade.
  • Pilot - Chodo was given extensive training in shuttles and freighter controls before his Herd would allow him to leave Ithor upon the Argent Thorn. Since then he has gotten plenty of experience.
  • Pacifist - Like the overwhelming majority of his species Chodo despises violence. As such he is experienced with trying to talk his way out of problems rather than letting them devolve into conflict. Ultimately however he diverges from the mainstream belief of his peoples as the young Ithorian believes it can be acceptable to defend the innocent or even yourself .
  • Basic Maintenance - Chodo has been looking after a VT-110 Light Freighter alone and as such has learnt how to look after his ship in a very hands on manor. Likewise he has learnt to perform basic ongoing maintenance of his astromech droid.
  • Xenolinguistics - As an Ithorian he might not be able to speak Basic but Chodo is quite gifted at understanding other languages despite his physiological inability to speak much more than Ithorese.

Description
The old VT-1100 CEC light cargo transport was gifted to Chodo Fonwim by an old merchant from his Herd when the Ithorian decided to leave Ithor and explore the wider galaxy. It is a vessel unaffiliated with any galactic organisation and it’s credentials simply read as belonging to Chodo Fonwim of Ithor.

Over the two years that Chodo has owned the ship he has made minor modifications and adjustments to the ship, mostly to keep it running. It, frankly, needs a lot of work as it’s current Captain has been maintaining it but isn’t much of a mechanic.

Permanent Crew
  • Pilot: Chodo Fonwim
  • Co-Pilot/Gunner: Myjin Roin
  • Mechanic/Gunner: Xiann
  • Astromech: Chodo's B-Series
  • Security/Battle Droid: Xiann's Custom Battle Droid

Legality
Legal. VT-1100 freighters are a common sight across the Galaxy, and they are considered innocuous enough in most systems. Customized examples may draw slightly more scrutiny from authorities, however.

Intent
To track the customisation of The Argent Thorn.

Advanced Tech
No. VT-1100 freighters are fairly common, and would be simple to buy, steal or otherwise acquire.

Biography

Born over a century ago Worror Raabat is one of the oldest living Nature Priests of Ithor. A venerated individual respected for his leadership he has led his Herd for over sixty years and in that time he has trained only a few Priests most of who would go on to lead Herds of their own. Although he is outranked by the High Priest of Ithor many individuals of the species would rather turn to Worror’s guidance. Deeply traditional his Herd is known to be a little more fanatical when it comes to their devotion to the Holy Mother, the personification of the Mother Jungle on Ithor’s surface. His Herdship rarely leaves the orbit of Ithor as he believes it is his responsibility to not just watch over his Herd but also the planet itself.

Worror is widely considered one of the most knowledgeable Force Adepts from amongst the Nature Priest ranks in terms of not just religious lore but also knowledge of the Living Force itself. He is known to be deeply attuned to the Light Side which explains his longevity. A gentle and compassionate individual he preaches love for all living things and has been known to show great kindness to Ithorian and Alien alike.

Now in his advanced years he has taken a step back from active leadership of his Herd, allowing his juniors to handle more of this role, and he spends much of his time in quiet meditation on the surface of Ithor however he has not abandoned his Herd and will return to his ship frequently.

Oorrl Fonwim comes from a long line of Force Sensitive Ithorians. Although he began his force training as a Nature Priest of Ithor’s unique faith however after a visiting Jedi noted the young apprentice’s strength in the Force he chose to join the Order. Although a skilled peacekeeper the Ithorian still fights his natural instincts and distaste for violence despite knowing that sometimes fighting is necessary.

________________

Biography
___________________________________

Born into a long line of Force Sensitives who served Ithor’s Herds as Nature Priests and, occasionally, even Jedi since the eldest days of the Old Republic. Chozo, Oorrl’s father, was the Herd’s current Priest. He would train his son to listen to the hallowed forests of Ithor and to commune in harmony with the sustaining Light of the Force.

Oorrl soon proved to be strong with the Force and was capable of easily connecting with the Mother Jungle. He also showed a natural gift with helping plants grow and would use these powers to assist his Herd’s Botanists and Farmers.

When he was 14 a visiting Jedi sought out Oorrl’s Herd sensing an individual with an unusually deep connection to the Light Side of the Force. Speaking with Chozo the Jedi convinced the Ithor to allow him to take the young teenager with him to the Temple on Ajan Kloss for training. After a year of introductory basics the Ithorian was assigned to the Wookie Jedi Master Arriyyshk, an old survivor of the Purge, as the Council had decided the Jedi Warrior would be a good palance for the extremely timid Ithorian.

When Oorrl was 23 he went on a mission with Arriyyshk to the Outer Rim to investigate rumours of a resurgent Sith menace. In the end they discovered a single Red Lightsaber wielding individual with a small cult following him made up of non-force sensitives. The so-called “Sith”, a Human called Tarsus, was merely a failed padawan of the Order but one who had fully given in to his hatred and bitterness blaming the Jedi for his own failings. In an ambush Arriyyshk was mortally wounded by blaster fire from the cultists whilst distracted by Tarsus in combat. Oorrl was able to disarm and drive off the cultists before dealing with Tarsus himself although he was unfortunately forced to kill the Human. Staying with his master as he died, using the force to ease the Wookie’s passage, Oorrl returned to Ajan Kloss for his funeral pyre.

Seeing how the Ithorian was able to accept the passing of his master and how well he handled the fallen Jedi, the Council granted Oorrl the rank of Knight. Soon after this Oorrl became the Jedi Watchman for the Ottega System. After six years of serving this duty Oorrl was tasked with tracking down a smuggler who was illegally taking exotic species of fauna and flora. Finding the smuggler after he had already left the planet this led to a chase at hyperspace. This ended in a backwater system just beyond the Mid Rim before the smuggler fired upon his vessel. Unfortunately the small, rather old, ship Oorrl was flying wasn’t really up to the task and although he took down the criminal his own ship crashed onto the surface of a nearby planet.

Oorrl spent the next three years on the surface of a nameless planet with no other sentient life until a Sector Ranger patrol happened upon his crashed ship’s very weak SOS signal and rescued him.

After spending a few months in mandatory rehabilitation due to the Council’s concerns over what long-term isolation might have done to the Jedi Knight it turned out that the Temple Healers decided Oorrl was surprisingly well-adjusted. Oorrl himself claimed the only real downside had been a lack of Ant-flies.

Oorrl’s first official assignment after all of this was a minor diplomatic mission to Glee Anselm. While there he was invited to dinner by a female Nautolan on the Council of Elders and her family. During the meal at Elder Yal’s home the Ithorian realised that her daughter Rah’la was emitting a song in the Force but it was chaotic and discordant. Not only was the young girl strong with the Force but something was deeply upsetting her. Speaking with Yal and her husband Rahl in private he convinced the pair to discuss the young Nautolan’s problems Understanding the source of her distractions he convinced her parents to allow him to take her to the Jedi Temple for assessment and potential training promising her a secure future with the Order. Eventually the couple agreed and Oorrl introduced himself properly to Rah’la and made her the offer letting her know that her parents had already agreed. Rah’la agreed.

After the teenage Nautolan’s initial induction into the Jedi Order Oorrl took her own as his official Padawan. The pair travelled the stars, Oorrl trusting the Force to guide him to where he needed to be to the slight disapproval of the Council due to his independence. However in recent days with the outbreak of new hostilities against the newly arisen Dark Side threat Oorrl has begun to contact his superiors at the Temple more often.

Recently while visiting Taris to investigate some criminal activity he came across a young Twi’lek engineer called Xiann. Sensing the Force flowing strongly around the girl he tried to explain to her about her potential but she seemed either confused or disinterested. So, sensing her wish to leave the planet, Oorrl offered her a position upon his ship to see the stars in exchange for her helping him maintain his vessel, something Oorrl freely admitted to not being good at.

Personality

Oorrl is not your typical Ithorian. Whilst he shows many of the usual stereotypical traits associated with his species; a love of unspoiled nature, a great respect for peace and a view of unnecessary violence being abhorrent he is also different. Once an apprenticed Nature Priest and now a Jedi Knight he has come to understand that his people’s ways are to be respected but that he has moved beyond them.

Although a pacifist at heart he has, thanks to his training, come to the realisation that sometimes it is required to fight in self-defence or, more importantly, in the defence of others. He does not believe that this allowance makes it right but only a sad necessity. He sees it as a personal sacrifice to dirty his soul with violence when such moments come.

Oorrl, being a quiet and peaceful being, would prefer to spend his time in tranquil solitude. Meditating and communing with whatever world he is walking upon, even those planets that suffer from having their natural beauty destroyed by sentient lifeforms building too much over their surface. However despite these preferences he is, like many Ithorians, a conversationalist who loves to engage with strangers and listen to their tales.

The Ithorian likes to spend time working with plants. Whether this is gardening or farming Oorrl gets a great deal of pleasure watching things grow. More surprisingly for those who might not fully know him the Ithorian also has a love training with his lightsaber, often while travelling aboard his vessel, as he gets a deep sense of peace and contentment while moving through the Kata. This partially comes from his belief that being skilled with the laser blade is necessary to end a fight with the least amount of harm as possible.

Coming from Ithor, a world of peace, it hurts Oorrl to the core when he sees suffering and often does whatever he can to help those in need. Despite his years as a travelling Jedi the Knight still seems to struggle with understanding selfishness and cruelty in some beings hearts.

DESCRIPTION

This is the second lightsaber that Oorrl Fonwim has crafted during his years as a Jedi. Based on the design of his original but incorporating elements of both his original weapon and his old masters.

After Arriyyshk was killed Oorrl was left with his lightsaber. Using the Hardened Wroshyr-Wood from his master’s hilt along with the original alloy metal of his own weapon to create a brand new weapon. At the heart of the blade however lies the same blue crystal he has had since his days as a Padawan.

The weapon is somewhat larger than the average Jedi’s lightsaber due to the Ithorian’s larger frame and long-fingered hands.

Legal wherever lightsabers are legal. A lightsaber is usually only as dangerous as a vibroblade, and less dangerous than blasters. Yet it is also a rare and expensive item. It may draw unwanted attention on some worlds or from some individuals.

INTENT

To describe the lightsaber used by the Ithorian Jedi Oorrl Fonwim.

RESTRICTIONS
None; however, lightsabers aren't mass-produced and are usually one-of-a-kind.

“I will never be a Slave again.”

- Kor’ez
________________

Biography

____________________________________

Born to the slave markets of Nal Hutta the Twi’lek who would be named Kor’ez by his first and only owner was a rare and beautiful example of the Lethan subspecies with bright red skin and dazzling purple eyes. Shortly after his fifth birthday a tall and slender Human by the name of Tarsus purchased the alien to serve in his household.

Over the years of serving Tarsus Kor’ez was beat many times, along with the other slaves, being an object for their Humanocentric master to vent his frustrations upon. In time the young Twi’lek came to notice a strangeness around his master. The man emanated unease and rage as if a small storm raged within his skeletal frame. Once or twice Kor’ez even saw the man conduct strange blood rituals when he believed no one was watching. It wasn’t until the Twi’lek turned 10 that his master dragged him into his secret chambers and explained to him the existence of the Force as well as the power of the Dark Side. At first Kor’ez was confused about why the man who had treated him with nothing but contempt for years would now be instructing him. It turned out that Kor’ez had “perhaps some small talent” for the Force. Although Tarsus had no intention of making Kor’ez an equal he did begin training the slave to utilize his emotions to grow strong enough to act as Tarsus’ personal guard going forward.

By the time he was 13 Kor’ez, already large for his age, was accompanying his master everywhere from business meetings to shadowy gatherings of a group calling themselves the “Legion’s Vanguard”. They existed throughout the galaxy as spies and informants for a group called the Legions of Lettow who existed beyond known space.

Kor’ez continued his training and, after many years, Tarsus even began training his slave in the use of the lightsaber. However the slaves innate fear of others due to his status and past treatment made him weak and his spirit was easily broken. Tarsus would mock him frequently and it was clear the Human regarded the Twi’lek as nothing more than an object to be used and, eventually, discarded.

Recently the Legions of Lettow, now calling themselves the Sith Eternal, returned to known space and Tarsus was amongst a number of secret servants who travelled to greet them.

Perhaps Tarsus would have been greatly rewarded for his years of service but we’ll never know. The Human, perhaps feeling stressed at eventually meeting his masters after so many decades, was particularly cruel towards Kor’ez during the trip and shortly after reaching their destination he began beating the Twi’lek badly due to a simple spilling of a drink. Kor’ez, angry and frustrated, mixed with fear of meeting whatever Dark Lords Tarsus obeyed finally had enough. Seizing his masters lightsabers he struck Tarsus down without thinking.

Kor’ez expected to die.

Instead the Sith Eternal accepted him as a student of the Dark Side and began his training properly. Not the scraps that Trasus had thrown at him but the knowledge he would need to become a true devotee of the Dark Side

Personality

__________________________________________________

Born and raised a slave Kor’ez is, at his core, fearful. Despite being freed he fears the master's hand being raised against him. He fears being sold off as an object. He fears being discarded as a useless tool. Due to all of this he struggles with his Dark Side training.

Amongst his fellow Sith the Twi’lek often spends time alone running through lightsaber forms and velocities with startling skill and yet, for his strength and talent, when pushed by a fellow Acolyte he will more often than not fold.

Yet beneath this timid loners shell is a heart of hatred. A being hungering for power, for strength, for the will to crush others and with the defiant promise that he will never be a slave again. It is only at the most drastic times, in the heat of battle or when his back is up against the wall that Kor’ez allows his shackles to loosen and a glimpse of the promised sith beneath can be seen. If only briefly.

Somewhat amusingly to his peers the Twi’lek as a Loth-cat as a pet. A vicious and nasty piece of work called Kala whom Kor’ez adores.

Powers and Skills

__________________________________________________

  • Lightsaber Swordsman - Of all the training Kor’ez had received so far it is his love for lightsaber combat which rings most true. Although an acolyte he has already begun studying a wide array of forms. He demonstrates his skills by expertly wielding a set of matching crimson lightsabers.
  • Dark Side Novice - Perhaps it is because of his history as a slave but Kor’ez is often too timid. Although this innate fear can be useful it also limits his progress in Dark Side studies.
  • Powerful Force Connection - For all his weakness and lack of experience the Twi’lek has a naturally strong connection to the Force.
  • Fighter - Trained for years to be Tarsus’ bodyguard Kor’ez is experienced with a wide array of fighting techniques and weapons.
  • Pilot - As his master’s personal guard it was often Kor’ez’s job to fly Tarsus to wherever hee needed to go. With his induction into the Sith Order he has been learning how to fly combat class vessels.
