Josh quickly regained himself from the push, and retook the Niman stance. Again, Huang came at him. His attacks were relentless. His next attack was another slashing attack, aimed at his right hip to his left collarbone. In an effort to counter the attack, he'd use his sabre to move under his, redirecting Huang's sabre vertically. Then on the counter, he would make a slash of his own, while using the Force to increase his speed, slashing from Huang's right collarbone to his left hip.

Huang's sabre turned off as his arm reached the apex of its extension. He flipped the handle around in his hand, the grip becoming reversed as he turned the blade on again. Again the blades met, Drake effortlessly thwarted. With another push, Huang knocked Drake back, spinning the sabre around to the standard grip. He kept moving forward, keeping the pressure on Drake. He thrust forward, a feint, before slashing upward, then, rotating his wrist, the move became a diagonal slash across Drake's face, from his top left to bottom right. The attacks were staccato, speeding then slowing, unpredictable.

Once again Josh was pushed, and had to regain himself. He retook the Niman stance and readied himself for another attack. A simple feint was thrown first, turning into a upward slash, followed by a downward slash. The combo was unpredictable. The movements differing in speed. On the downward slash, the very tip of the training saber sizzled against Josh's face. Easily burning his face. The graze caused a two inch scar on the right side of his face.

He didn't let out any noise. He kept his concentration on the battle. With Huang's attack subdued, he inched in for his own. He started off with a slow sideways slash, right to left. He then changed it up by speeding it up, slashing from Huang's left shoulder down to his right hip. He would then throw a feint of his own, before slashing from left to right.

((Sorry this took so long. Placement's a dick.))

Huang's sabre thwarted Drake's at every strike. He tutted audibly. The boy had lost the essence of Niman. The cuts were measured, thought out. Not staccato. Juyo had crept in.

It was not welcome here.

''You have not taken the essence of Niman to heart. It is the form of balance. You must be measured, calculating in your approach. Do not make wild attacks.''

Huang took up a stance, the stance of Makashi.

''Attack me.''

((No big deal man.))

'Yes Master. Sorry Master,' Josh said as he readied himself. He then made his way towards Huang. He swung first at Huang's legs, then quickly maneuvered his lightsaber to the overhand stance coming down with it in speed. Hopefully, catching Huang off-guard or in a bad situation.

Drake was fast, but not as fast as a sword master. Huang's legs flicked up, his eyes following the blade, his own weapon rising to meet Drake's. He pushed up, pushing Drake away.

''A very good move, Drake. Work on your speed, and you shall catch many a foe with it.''

He returned to his original position, this time taking up the Ataru stance.

''Again.''

Josh concentrated. He slowly made his approach. He started to think moves over in his mind. First, he went in with a quick slash from Huangs' right shoulder to his left waist. Then, he quickly slashed from his left waist towards his right waist. And finally, slashed from his right waist towards his left leg. Basically, he maneuvered his lightsaber to cut a Z through Huangs' body.

Huang's blade met Drakes in a crash of light as his student tried to cleave him in twain from collarbone to hip as he slashed. Huang spun to Drake's left, his arm whipping out to slash for Drake's temple. A simple move, but a useful one to learn to counter.

As Huang spun to Josh's left, his saber lashed out towards his temple. He had seconds to react, or he'd have a bad headache. He took his saber and met Huang's at his right shoulder. Using his strength, he tried to drive his saber back, stepped in with he left leg towards his midsection, then disengaged the block, and slashed from right to left at his midsection.

Good, a show of strength! Huang blocked the attack. The boy finally showed skill in the Niman art. As with most students under his tuteledge, Huang was proud to have trained the next generation. He held up a hand, gripping the blade of Drake's lightsabre in a rare show of his abilities with Tutaminis.

''Knight Drake, you have grasped everything I have taught you. I have given you the tools of Niman. Utilise them in whichever way you see fit. Everyone interprets their chosen forms differently. I expect great things.''

With that, Huang bowed at the waist. He then shook Drake's hand. His face remained impassive, but, beneath the layers of control, there was pride for his student.
