DESCRIPTION
Even though intended by Arakyd Industries to be the ship for general public, the Lethisk-class freighter was too costly for any but the richest Republic citizens. Some of the ships have found their way into the hands of crime lords and smugglers, but most were acquired by its target group: the wealthy families such as Sandral family from Dantooine, who kept their ship docked atop their estate. More than 30 ships were sold at significant discount to Five Syndicate crime bosses by a group of Arakyd employees, who were later sent to the spice Mines of Kessel for that crime, including the Sector Executive of the Raioballo sector.

The Catscratch is the personal starship of the smuggler Davik Lorso. It was formerly owned by a Cathar Smuggler operating out of Ord Cantrell and a welcome sight in the Catherese liberation efforts in the time of the Galactic Empire, but at some point after the Battle of Echegol it became the property of a young Davik. The interior is very much still in a Catharese style, sporting plenty of soft cushions instead of chairs and benches (with the exception of the cockpit) and the walls are in an aged broken white.


LEGALITY
Legal. Although rare, the Lethisk-class freighters are considered innocuous enough under most jurisdictions, and are not restricted in most systems.


INTENT
Based on Starlight-class Ligth Freighter. The intent is to have a write-up for what is soon to be the iconic starship of Davik Lorso.
