Location: REDACTED

Galen looked through the mirrored glass into the 'questioning room'. If the subjects had been brought in already, they would have been bound and brought into the room, placed into their secure interrogation chairs, collared with shockers, and dosed with enough drugs to ensure their force powers were nullified.

He looked down at the dossiers that had been compiled on them both. DNA samples had been taken, extensive photographs for the ISB database and much more. They'd even begun undertaking a pycometric profile of the two candidates. All useful information to the Imperial intelligence apparatus.

And all entirely 'off the books'.

The number of people who knew who these people were was vanishingly small. Clearance levels needed to access the information Galen would be gathering were for the Emperor's eyes only and for the most senior directors of the ISB itself. Galen was very much aware if he spoke of what he uncovered here today to anyone, there would be nowhere he could run to and remain safe.

He closed the dossiers and turned to his attache.

"Run me through the arrangements." he instructed, as the man nodded and spoke with a clipped Imperial accent "The entire site is locked down, as requested, no ships in or out. We have special forces at every door, two at each station, and probe droids patrolling the corridors. Both suspects are drugged and restrained. You will be accompanied into the room by probe droids, which will be wiped once the data they gather has been downloaded. If they attempt to escape, the room will be gassed per your instruction." Galen nodded.

Everything was set.

He nodded to the attache and walked into the interrogation room. Checking the assorted 'tools' available, he waited for the attache to leave and stood before the two captives.

"Let's start with your names, shall we?"

Ciri was furious still. There had been a reason for why the Dathomirian always worked alone and taking the foolish Zabrak and the weak pureblood along had proven to be one of the worst decisions she had ever made. She had come to Kashyyyk to wreck havoc and fuel the chaos that had already reigned, but thanks to the other two she had ended up in captive.

She didn't even consider the other two associates, but while the Zabrak was gone, the pureblood was with her when she woke from her heavily drugged state. As the eerie yellow eyes flicked open, the eyelids only weakly flattered before she could really force them to stay open.

She was extremely dizzy and lightheaded, it was impossible to hold on to any clear thoughts, but for now it seemed like her dazed state prevented her from feeling the torn tendons and broken bones in her legs. She had no clue where she was, but after her blurry visions finally melted into a clearer image, she made out the crimson young one first.

Perfect. Why she ended up in the same room with her, she couldn't tell, but as dulled as her senses were it took her a few moments to realize someone else was suddenly walking in. She couldn't actually move, but her restrained state enabled her to move her head the slightest and so she found herself focusing on the receding dark hairline.

A man, some droids, and suddenly the air vibrated with sound. The pronounced words faded in and out in her mind and while she blinked a few times, the words spoken in Basic finally made some sense. Her throat felt dry and the yellow eyes finally met his gaze as her lips slightly parted.

She learned how even producing sounds wasn't truly possible without any practice and so she faintly cleared her throat. She had already taken notes on the restraints, the room itself and could feel how every fiber of her body was basically sedated, so it was fairly obvious to her that there was no way out. "Chirikyât", came the answer, her voice airy and quiet, the thick Sith accent not concealed by any means but speaking was exhausting. He wouldn't know what her name meant, she assumed, but she very much did.

The agonising flashpoint jittered in her eyes like a jaggered blade, tormenting and reliving the terrible moment over and over again. Brief flashes of light had illuminated the pureblood as to provide a minimal glimpse of her surroundings. No sooner had the witch thrown her away, had she been slung into a bacta tank. The nefarious devices of the ISB were no doubt being warmed up on her account, but she could only hope that they were more than just a threat of being used.

Even with her broken limbs having been mended by the extended medically induced sleep, Cyu could still feel the phantom pains lingering through each point and fibre as if a constant reminder of their failings. A whispering tormentor within the strands of DNA, muscle and bone to entice, draw out and punish each misstep.

The very light of the room pierced and assaulted her senses, a jumbled sensation that called no clarity to attention, the cocktail taking apart her mind and firing neurons in each and every way. Reluctantly, finding that she was not alone in the room, Cyu turned her head toward the other with a fiery mood burning below the surface ready to be released. "Tegu nun sso sis orto, Nu valia asara ji kakdta sulig kakdta."

The male spoke, drawing the purebloods' attention. No doubt they would recognise her form quite easily, and if they didn't then perhaps this one was not to be feared at all. There was little point hiding who they were, after all they were both fiercely proud Sith and if they ever got away from the Empire in one piece, she would want them to know who would be coming after them.

"Cyutadakyr." she said, in a heavy Sith accent.

The Sith had always been a little different.

It turned out that these two were much the same as he had expected, fuelled by their emotions and painfully predictable. Force users had always fascinated him. Their arrogance was palpable, a side effect of being granted immense unnatural powers by their birth; every force user he had researched had a personality underscored by a sense of insecurity that one day their abilities might not be enough.

Unlike others - Force Users always had something to fall back on if everything another source of influence was stripped away.

It made them arrogant; it made them predictable.

It made them weak.

Quickly, a translator droid spewed back the basic version of their replies.

His face was impassive as Cyutadakyr made his threats in his native tongue.

Galen didn't reply. Instead, he merely activated the tunqstoid steel which lined the floor panel upon which the Sith was standing. Unfortunately for the Sith, he was also restrained, meaning he could not collapse to the floor, to the right or steady himself as the agony caused by the metal rampaged through his system.

After three seconds, he shut the panel off.

"This is a water mask." Galen opened a small case and removed a simple device which fitted over the mouth and nose.

Ignoring the fact he had just used tunqstoid steel on one of his prisoners, he continued speaking "Now, before I ask a great deal of questions to the both of you, I wanted to let you know a little bit about me. For a number of years I worked in the 'front lines' of the Sith Empires conflicts around the galaxy, a period of that time was spent on Tatooine." he placed the mask on a small table and turned to face his subjects.

"Water is worth more than Coaxium there, it is almost impossible to come by. One day I was capture stealing water from a local Hutt, I forget his name. He held be for a single day before I told him where I had stashed by ill-gotten gains. Now, I have been through special forces interrogation traiing, years and years of it. How was it he managed to break me so fast?"

Galen picked up the mask, and placed it over Ciris face.

"It was by using this." he clipped the back of the mask into place, and withdrew a thin tube from the case, screwing it onto the mask "One side connected to my face, as it now connects to hers." he walked around to the male sith, and clipped another mask to his mouth, and attached the tube, connecting both masks "The other connected to another prisoner."

Next Galen placed a datapad, disconnected from the holonet, underneath Ciris right hand.

"Using this, you can write the answer to every question I ask you. If I believe you lie, I will press this button." he showed them a controller "That will slow the process. The process, naturally, being the removal of water from her system, and the transfer of that water, into yours. If she lies, she will dehydrate and die, and you will drown."

Galen sighed, checked the system worked, and leaned back on the table so he could see the two of them.

He had set the system to remove a litre of water from her system with each click of his device. The process of removal was agonising, Galen could recall it well, and the process of being slowly drowned on the other end of the 'tube' was far from pleasant.

"Let's test the system, shall we? You do not operate alone. There was another with you; provide their name."

Ciri didn't miss the pureblood's word but even if she understood every word, every implication, she simply didn't react at all. An empty provocation. It was nothing more but a waste of energy for the other. She decided to save her strengths as best as she could, knowing their lives hung on thin threads and she wouldn't let the red 'ally' ruin it.

Her piercing, however still visibly weakened and thus dulled gaze wandered off to the mask as the Imperial mentioned it, pure hate flaring up inside her as she knew this wasn't good for either of them. She couldn't move a single muscle, so while saving her energy, there was noting she could do to stop the man from putting on the mask.

As he got inevitably closer, the inhumane yellow eyes seemed to pierce right through his soul, but Ciri knew whomever they send, they wouldn't be easily shaken and also, she didn't even try to do anything. It was just what the Dathomirian looked like, even if she usually found herself in better states.

He explained the rules of this little game and even if she had wanted to nod, she felt the lack of strength to do so and so she didn't. She had to use her fingers to type answers and that was straining enough. She wondered why he deemed it necessary to threaten them like this, as firstly, they wouldn't be able to provide any information if they were dead, and secondly, Ciri showed no signs of disobedience. She had nothing to hide, she didn't give a damn about the 'Order' and was more than willing to cooperate.

Still, she was in this situation now and after he posed his first question, she began writing. It took her a bit, but as she was done, the datapad would clearly say: "Drexus". He hadn't given them more than that. She didn't have a last name either, it was relatively common and everything she knew.

The female pureblood stood there in a striking, locked up pose as the flagrant misdeeds of her captor released a terrible voltage through the floor. The unforgiving nature of the electricity was minus the spiteful torrent that aligned itself with the force lightning she was familiar with. The torturous appetiser to their banquet was on full display, as the energy surged through her veins and muscles. A symphonic melody rippled and weighed, flesh and bone tingling with macabre violence, followed close behind with a flash of heat agonising as the pulses poured across her body.

And then, disappointingly, it stopped.

She watched and waited with bated breath, it had been some time since her last encounter with the ISB, and thus she couldn't be certain how much might have changed since the Sith left the organisation. Were they dealing with a self-made man, or another puppet being fed his lines by another? Who could tell.

The water mask was a nice touch, simple in design and ravishingly iniquitous. What was there to do but sit back and enjoy the show, as the beautiful figurine of hate might turn into a husk with the wrong answers. Unsurprisingly, Ciri gave up Deadus instantly, not that Cyu cared other than the concern that the ISB might find him first. No, the bitch was likely to be too truthful and thus deprive the pureblood of her owed gratification in such times as these.

Assuming, of course, he didn't bother to ask any questions of her either. But that wouldn't be fun now, would it?

The door opened and in the bright light from hallway stood a single man of small stature. He shook his head as he looked at the two Sith being strapped down and drugged inside one of the ISB torture rooms and then stepped forward. As the door closed behind him and everyone's eyes adjusted it became clear that the person that entered was Director Senyn himself. Well, Overseer Terco would know that it was actually a TC-SC Infiltration droid as the director never did leave the ISB headquarters in person for anything other than going home or going to the Imperial Palace.

"Truly what a waste," he seemed to smile, "but who could've known that they were nobodies."

The last time important members of the Sith Order had been captured and imprisoned in a black site, no one less than Darth Raze had come for their rescue. This whole thing had been a trap designed to capture and kill more prominent Sith, but as it turned out, and as the ISB was well aware, the Sith didn't deem it necessary to try and rescue those they deemed unworthy. Something ridiculous about the 'Rule of the Strong'.

"Our intel suggests the Sith Order is split," he turned to Overseer Terco with a smile, "They have two competing Dark Lords, can you believe it? The amateurism."

The condescending mirth coming from the director of the Imperial Security Bureau was so thick it was impossible for the two drugged Sith to miss. "These two idiots were even caught by bounty hunters," and the Empire paid credits for them that they sorely regretted by now, but keeping the incentive around for groups like the Bounty Hunter's Guild and Apex to chase down and sell intel on Sith to the Empire had its benefits still.

"Anyway, the intel they can give us doesn't justify any of this-" he gestured towards the torture devices, "-so we're going to gas them and then move them to another location."

Takodana | 96 hours later

When Cyutadakyr and Chirikyât woke up they would find themselves laying on the ground in the middle of a sprawling forest. They woke up together as the Empire had evidently not deemed it worthy of their trouble and time to split them up.

You could spend weeks navigating the forests of Takodana before you found a homestead or town on the sparsely populated planet and the Empire hoped that these two Sith would start to bicker long before that and one would kill the other.

It seemed better to have them -or one of them- return to the Sith Order and try to rise the ranks as it would surely lead to more dead Sith in the process. Eventually another bounty hunter would capture them again, once they were important enough to warrant a rescue operation.
