Connor had been busy with the accounts he’d drained. He’d picked up a pair of wallets and a purse on his way to meet up with Lina and after the date he’d taken the time to drain bank accounts and withdraw credits from credits chips. It wasn’t enough to cover the rest of the medical bills but it was more than enough to get all his friends great Life Day gifts.
For Xo, he’d worked out an arrangement with Lina to get him a new arm. It was state of the art, no street-tech just grade A cybernetics through and through. It was comfortable, allowed for full range of movement, and could be easily maintained as well. Connor was happy with it and he hoped Xo would be as well!
For Arak, Connor spent some time looking on the “Dark side Holonet” for something his friend would like. He knew Arak liked books, learning, and spooky dark side things. With that, he eventually found a series of books called “Treaties on the Dark Side”. Connor bought him the newest three books in the set. One dealt with Ritual magick, one dealt with introduction to Blood Curses, and the final was an Alchemy 101 book. He wasn’t sure if Arak had them or not but he was fairly sure he hadn’t seen the in the dorm.
For Corra, he wasn’t really sure what she liked. He knew she struggled with insomnia and that she was up late at night usually and she liked spooky things. So his gift focused on that. He bought her grade A sleeping pills to help her conk out, a book of scary stories, and a subscription to a sleep app for a year.
Finally, Nash. Connor knew what to get her. Unfortunately the tickets he WANTED to buy her were too expensive. So he had to settle. Connor bought her Huttball playoff tickets. A pair of them so she could take whoever (probably Arak :() she wanted. They were mid stadium seating, not front row but certainly not nosebleeds. He knew she’d like them, or he hoped she would at least.
After everything was said and done, Connor still had enough credits to fill up his star ship and head back to Umbara to wrap up the presents. It wasn’t exactly the Life Day he’d wanted or expected…but he’d make it the best for the people he cared for.
