Biography
Xoie was born on the dark planet of Dathomir and grew up in one of the various tribes of Nightsisters. She had a very typical childhood for a girl on Dathomir, and began training under her clan mother in the Nightsister magicks as soon as she was of age. Xoie took to the practice like a fish to water and quickly advanced, surpassing even a few of the older students.

After successfully completing her Nightsister trials, Xoie was recommended to leave Dathomir to join the Sith. This wasn't the future she had envisioned for herself, but the girl chose to go along with it regardless.

Laila Din is the youngest of the Din family, and one of the few remaining Dins still living at home with Ma and Pa. She is literally the baby of the family as she is both the youngest and the most doted upon. Compared to many of her eldest siblings, she is very, very spoiled.

The girl looks up to her older siblings, considering them her idols, and she wants to be just as "big as strong" as them one day. She always bothers them for gifts, and she always wants to be shown the cool moves she remembered them using when she watched them spar as kids.

Laila was born on Bandomeer and was the youngest of her nine other siblings. Being the youngest, she was always a tad bit spoiled and was both acknowledged and treated as the baby of the family. As a child, she spent most of her free time working on her parent's farm and practicing her Matukai.

After her older brother, Altair, was crowned the King of Eiattu, she was elevated to nobility as "Princess Laila Din." She, along with her parents and her older brother Emir, moved to Eiattu where she only became more spoiled. Like the rest of her siblings, she was expected to learn Matukai martial arts, and she continues her training even in the lap of luxury.

Biography
Her story begins with her mother, Elif, when she met Sehra's to-be father, Bjørn, at a small refueling station somewhere just outside of Unknown Space. Elif, who had left Orsimer Prime in search of adventure and new experiences not a year prior, was immediately intrigued by the space-faring Deucalian, and the two had a whirlwind romance that ended in the birth of their first and only child - Sehra. Elif disappeared after the birth of her daughter, not ready or willing to be a mother when there was a whole galaxy for her to explore, and left Bjørn to raise Sehra on his own.

Suffice to say Bjørn was not prepared to be a single father, but he had the support and help of his clan in raising the half-Orcolan tot. She grew up among the other children in the clan, raised as a Ramund as she was born to a Ramund. Even as a toddler, Sehra took any amount of pain in stride, and her Orcolan-born pain tolerance earned her the noun-verb alias 'Iron-Bearer'. She was exceedingly proud of her pain tolerance and particularly the strength and athleticism that came naturally to her, as it was the only part of her Orcolan heritage that she ever really cared about. To Sehra, she was a Deucalian, nothing more, nothing less.

After her clan experienced an upheaval in which their leader died during a raid that went wrong, Sehra rallied behind his daughter and the clan's new leader, Ivarr.

Maura was found by a Jedi while wrapped up in a blanket, covered in scabs, and bruises, and begging for change on a street corner. He asked her if she would like a warm place to spend the night, then brought her to an orphanage. The Jedi set her up there and left the caretakers with his communication information with them on a whim. He then went on his way, leaving a grateful but confused little Maura in the hands of strangers.

The young child only spent a year or so at the orphanage before that same Jedi returned to collect her. During that time, she had given herself a new last name, inspired by the other kids there doing the same. The kid was fascinated by the stars and the pilots who flew into them, so she decided on the name 'Starwalk' because she wanted to "walk on a star one day." Of course, the caretakers at the orphanage knew that this was probably both a lofty goal for an orphan child and a silly name, but they had much bigger fish to fry. Thus, Maura became Maura Starwalk, a young girl with no future, no family, and only a child's innocent hope for the future.

Her time at the orphanage was much better than her time wandering the streets, but it was still not an ideal environment. There were many kids under the care of the caretakers there, and the social order there was very much survival of the fittest. The older, stronger kids would bully and beat the younger kids, and Maura fell under that second group. She spent most of her time there away from the orphanage, wandering the streets and causing mischief. Generally, Maura only returned to sleep, arriving after everyone went to bed and leaving before they woke up. It was here that Maura discovered hair dye, after a couple of the older kids pranked her by putting yellow hair dye into her shampoo. Fortunately, Maura loved it and began experimenting with all sorts of colors afterward.

When the Jedi returned, it was not because he had originally intended to do so in the first place, but because the caretakers had contacted him. They informed him when they did so that the girl he had left with them was trying to teach the other kids how to use the Force. She had banded together with many of the younger kids to throw rocks at the older kids and was "a danger to the other children." He returned, and after stifling a laugh at the last name Maura had chosen, asked her if she wanted to come with him to see the stars. He told her she would learn to use the Force and become a Jedi if she did. Of course, Maura saw absolutely no reason to say no, so on their way they went.

Maura was around seven years old when she was brought back to the Jedi temple. She fit right in with the kids her age at the temple. The ones who had been at the temple since they were babies wanted to know all about life outside the temple, and Maura was more than happy to tell them all about it. Pretty soon, she had her entire class babbling all sorts of slang. It was a huge ego boost for the kid. As for her studies, Maura was an eager student. She wanted to get her hands on anything she could, and her passion and dedication helped her to succeed.

At ten years old, Maura began to skip her classes. Her love of learning remained just as strong, but she could barely get herself to sit still in classes long enough to soak in the material. This led to her acting out, running away from teachers, and pulling pranks with other students while she should have been in class. These events eventually culminated in her getting called to the office for discipline. After intruding on Grandmaster Voran's office, interactions between the two eventually led to the Grandmaster agreeing to take Maura on as her apprentice after Maura deliberately asked her.

In the five years since then, Maura grew a bit more mature, but not by much. On multiple occasions, she'd sneak onto transport ships and end up in various places off-world, such as when she ended up fighting against the Sith on Onderon. The battle ended in a victory for the Jedi, and Maura ran her opponent off to the hospital. They had a brief chat, and she returned home with the Sith's lightsaber.

Back on Yavin IV, Maura brought the lightsaber to her master to attempt to purify the corrupted Kyber crystal. With Alex's help, the padawan was able to endure the corruption and successfully purified the Kyber. To her surprise and delight, Alex declared Maura had passed her Trial of Spirit.

Maura stands about 5'6" and weighs 119 lbs. She has warm, tan skin mottled with freckles, short and thick wavy blonde hair, and big, almost-black eyes with pupils that contract, dilate, and reflect like that of a cat. Though she has been dying her hair for half her life, the padawan has recently decided to go natural, and her roots have grown out significantly.

Though she is humanoid in appearance, it is almost immediately obvious that Maura is not human. She has long, pointed ears like the Annfyn, and clawed fingernails like the Cathar or Firrerero. Her eyes are so dark that her pupils are often missed, but in the dark, it would be hard to ignore their green reflection of light. Maura's smile reveals her sharp, cat-like canines. Her nose is straight and consistent in width like those seen on Cathar.

As for biological differences, Maura has a third eyelid, a nictitating membrane that helps to protect her eyes from damage or dryness. Her superior night vision allows her to see with only one-sixth of the illumination humans need to see, which is helped by a reflective layer behind her retinas, similar to cats' tapetum lucidum. Additionally, and again like that of felid creatures, her pupils can contract to slits or dilate to wide black orbs depending on the lighting. Her senses of smell and hearing are better than the human standard.

When not wearing her Jedi robes, Maura is a very casual dresser. She likes loose-fitting jeans, big t-shirts, and baseball caps.

Psychometry. Though she has little control over it at the moment, Maura was born with the unique ability to sense Force echoes in objects that allow her to view or feel their pasts.

The Force. Maura has historically struggled with more precise uses of the Force like telekinesis, but she excels at using it to augment her body, like when using Force speed.

Dyeing (hair). Since she's been dyeing her own hair since she was five or six, Maura definitely understands the mysteries of hair dye.

Claws. Much like the Cathar, Firrereo, and others, Maura has thick nails that grow out into sharp claws that need to be trimmed down every once in a while.

Night vision. Maura has excellent night vision, though she can only see in shades of grey. Additionally, her eyes reflect back an eerie green when light is shone right at them.

Hearing and scent. Maura has an increased sense of hearing and scent compared to that of baseline humans, but not quite as sensitive as the Sephi or Zygerrians, respectively.

Ambrosia

— Summary.
Ambrosia is an arkanian offshoot (her pointed ears suggested a varied genetic makeup) and a member of the Sith Order. She is not too particularly short or tall at roughly 5'5", and she weighs about 100 lbs.

— Biography.
Ambrosia was born on Arkania to a very wealthy, very influential family in the pristine capital of the planet. The family's children had access to the best educations, had want for nothing, and grew up with childhoods full of wealth and prosperity. Unfortunately for Ambrosia, she was not an Arkanian - she was an Arkanian pet.

Like many Arkanian-offshoots, Ambrosia was born not out of love or marriage, but as the result of the genetic material of two parents she would never meet. Her masters wanted a toy for their children, and thus, a little, nameless girl was brought to life. Her earliest memory is from when she was eleven, maybe twelve years old, standing still as a statue while the children of her masters dressed her up and made her over. With her big doe-eyes, pouty lips, and porcelain skin, it was exactly what the child had been bred to do. She was quiet, demure, and always obedient. She never complained, and she never uttered a single word that wasn't asked of her first.

But beneath her silence and obedience was a seed, and the older and older the pretty little girl grew, the more and more that seed germinated and grew through the cracks of her concrete psyche. Her sleep grew restless as her nightmares became filled with cries for freedom amidst shackles, longing for something she'd never known. Her nightmares turned into dreams come true when she stepped off that ship, clothes soaked with warm red blood.

Adjusting to life was difficult for the teen, and it would be no surprise that she found herself melting into the ranks of the Sith. She found herself as an acolyte, finding purpose in the Force she learned to wield, and finally being able to decide who she was. Her name was Ambrosia, and she would be Sith. And when the Sith were cast out, she followed right behind them like a dog.

Ambrosia
she/her — arkanian offshoot — 20 years — sith champion — fs

— Summary.
Ambrosia is an arkanian offshoot (of a varied genetic makeup) and a member of the Sith Order. She is not too particularly short or tall at roughly 5'5", and she weighs about 100 lbs. She has a thin, almost fragile-looking frame, with large doe-eyes, pouty lips, and porcelain skin.

— Biography.
Ambrosia was born on Arkania to a very wealthy, very influential family in the pristine capital of the planet. The family's children had access to the best educations, had want for nothing, and grew up with childhoods full of wealth and prosperity. Unfortunately for Ambrosia, she was not an Arkanian - she was an Arkanian pet.

Like many Arkanian-offshoots, Ambrosia was born not out of love or marriage, but as the result of the genetic material of two parents she would never meet. Her masters wanted a toy for their children, and thus, a little, nameless girl was brought to life. Her earliest memory is from when she was eleven, maybe twelve years old, standing still as a statue while the children of her masters dressed her up and made her over. With her big doe-eyes, pouty lips, and porcelain skin, it was exactly what the child had been bred to do. She was quiet, demure, and always obedient. She never complained, and she never uttered a single word that wasn't asked of her first.

But beneath her silence and obedience was a seed, and the older and older the pretty little girl grew, the more and more that seed germinated and grew through the cracks of her concrete psyche. Her sleep grew restless as her nightmares became filled with cries for freedom amidst shackles, longing for something she'd never known. Her nightmares turned into dreams come true when she stepped off that ship, clothes soaked with warm red blood.

Adjusting to life was difficult for the teen, and it would be no surprise that she found herself melting into the ranks of the Sith. She found herself as an acolyte, finding purpose in the Force she learned to wield, and finally being able to decide who she was. Her name was Ambrosia, and she would be Sith. And when the Sith were cast out, she followed them like a dog.

— Skills & training.: Though her days as an acolyte were cut short, Ambrosia took to learning quite well, and possesses most of the basic skills and abilities champions should have.

she/her — human — 30 years — ambassador — fs

— Summary.
Korre Belasi - princess, scientist, former Prime Minister of the FWA, and current ambassador for her homeworld - is a 30-year-old human woman from Belasco. She stands 5'9", weighs roughly 160 lbs, and is known for her bright smile and ginger hair. She is relatively unathletic and has a curvaceous figure.

— Biography.
Korre was born in the Belascan capital of Senta and was a member of the royal Belasi line. Her mother was the Duchess of Senta and her father was a prominent political figure on Belasco. Korre lived a very comfortable childhood, and, while her parents were busy, were around enough to dot on their only child.

Belasco's septennial bacterial plague had spawned a huge culture around conservation and science on the planet, which of course meant a very education-focused upbringing for the young Korre. As a member of the Belasi family, Korre was afforded the best of the best when it came to schooling and was granted admittance to the Auden Belasi University of Senta. Though she was royalty, she was not in the direct line of succession, which meant she was free to pursue her heart's desires. Korre chose to expend her energies in scientific pursuit, and after six years of schooling, received a dual degree in microbiology and in biochemistry.

It was during her time in higher education that Korre discovered a love of public speaking. She joined the university's debate team to secure a necessary elective credit and was pleasantly surprised to find she thoroughly enjoyed it. After graduating, she combined her charisma and political lineage to run as Belascan's representative in the Free World Alliance and won in a close election against the previous senator's son. During the months before her term would begin, she was caught up on Galactic politics, taught the customs and expectations, and otherwise prepared for the job.

Though a recent addition to the world of galactic politics, Korre was forthright and vocal about what she and her people considered imperative. Personally, as a scientist and a native of a planet under near-constant siege by disease, Korre valued the health of the Galaxy and quickly made a name for herself by collaborating with Dr. Ilana Morata - who would later go on to become one of her closest friends - to create and present to the Galactic Senate the Global Health Organization. After she presented this to the Senate, she was elected head of the organization, and she currently dedicates a good portion of her time to getting the GHO up and running.

Even though she was a freshman senator in her first term, Korre was elected Prime Minister of the Free Worlds Alliance. She proved to be a popular candidate due to her activity in the FWA and the Galactic Senate. While working as a Prime Minister, Korre pushed for further centralization of the FWA by working towards raising a navy and proposing to begin negotiations to merge with the NR. She was generally well-respected, but often criticized for having lofty goals and wanting to centralize what was essentially just a defense alliance.

In the end, Korre became fed up with her inability to work as an effective leader and stepped down from her position. She slowly phased herself out of politics in the next several months and years, eventually even stepping down as the head of the GHO. She turned her attention to her own scientific pursuits, even getting get master's degree in biomedicals, and only reentered the political spotlight after Belasco made the decision to leave the FWA and aim for true neutrality in the galaxy.

Nowadays, Korre continues to pursue her own goals while working as the ambassador for Belasco.

— Skills & training.: Korre is a natural speaker, forthright, straight-to-the-point, and comfortable in front of cameras and crowds alike.

In addition, Korre double majored in both microbiology and biochemistry, and later went on to get her master's in biomedicals. She is an academically gifted woman who loves to be in and excels in laboratories.

Korre speaks fluent Galactic Basic, as well as Huttese, Twi'lieki, Durese, and Shyriiwook.

A short literal summary of the character. I usually repeat some of the info stated just above and then some basic appearance information, like height, weigh, build, and distinctive features. Could be a good idea to expand on whether a fs is trained or even aware here as well.

— Biography.
I love doing backstories so I tend to aim for at least a couple of paragraphs. If you're not so big on backstories, you could copy this section (in the code, from the [ exsize ], to the [/ size] just to the right) and create your own custom sections, like for personality, a more detailed appearance, or something else.

Otherwise, this particular template was designed to have a very long image to the left, so I try to get at least 3-4 paragraphs here. I suggest origins/childhood, expand on that, then what led to where the character is today.

Notes for this template
- I personally like to play around with the width of the image and the width of the abox3 to get my biography text to line up nicely with the image. Sometimes that's perfectly, sometimes that's just a nice amount of overflow (not too much. no weird spacing).

- Make sure to use a color that contrasts enough with black or white so that text is easily readable in the accordions. I prefer monochrome for this template, personally (and i blend all the images i use together to find a nice universal color for the template, but I'm extra and also know how to do that. it usually gives a desaturated color that works with black or white).

- When making the image sidebar, I edit each image down to 500 pixels wide and crop accordingly (500px in height). 3, 4, 5, 6.... the more images you use, the more text you'll need for the template to look nice. If you use just ONE image, I would play with the width of it and the abox3 to line up with the summary paragraph, but that's just me.

- A tip to find all the COLOR tags... highlight the '#9F828D' and then press ctrl+f (idk what it is on Mac, sorry). It will highlight all the '#9F828D's in yellow or a similar color so you can more easily find where to put your own color(s)!

- This one is pretty simple. I liked the abundance of borders for extra color and stuff. I think I gravitated toward using the eyecolor of whatever image I was using.

- There is an alternative version of this template (which is below) that uses a table for equipment instead of tabs. I think they both look fine, but the tabs are worlds easier to use than tables since they require less bbcode tags. Also, tabs don't resize based on the text within...

- Obviously you can add more sections by copying the bbcode from [ exsize ] to the [/ justify] just to the left of this text (within the code). So it can work for a simple or really detailed bio!
