Since DOTR appears to be at the blurring point between old EU Canon and New Disney Canon, I'm unsure what types of weapons for characters are legal for play. I get that Lightsabers and blasters are legal, but I'm not sure of what else. In particular, I'm curious about the Force-Imbued Blade.

Sorry it has taken as long for me to get you an answer, but here I go:
Since the Disney Canon is severely lacking in comparison to the EU... That means that, as you already know, we fill in the gaps with the EU info. Thankfully, there has been a nice write up describing the new Timeline's technology HERE.

This is basically saying that tech should be somewhat toned down from what we've previously seen in the previous timeline- the reason given is due to a lack of availability of good tech. And that means that aiming more generic is better. Slug throwers and blasters are our rifles. Generically, you can say they can be the average sniper, rifle, or pistol are available. Nothing too special or detailed, because you'll have to get into tech write-ups for it. Slug throwers, btw, will be worse than blasters, since the bullets will disappear into the lightsaber blade, and since slug throwers will be even more poorly built/inaccurate, etc. That is to prevent the recent obsession with slugs over lasers/keeping us closer to real SW Canon, where you literally never see bullets.

Lightsabers are obviously in, lol. As far as Force-Imbued weaponry though, they've been vague in what the Force is capable of, giving us the responsibility as to what the Force is capable of doing. If you seem to be out of line, someone will step in, but I don't think that a Forceful imbuing a blade with the Force is out of the question; HOWEVER, the lasting effects, I would argue (though purely being my own opinion) will be non-existent, since the Force isn't an object that can be set down or permanently infused into an object without the individual constantly feeding the Force into it. Just use common sense, and be sure to Read THIS too, because the info on the Force in here can give you a bit more insight.

And I would attempt to stay generic, especially since you don't really need much more than that anyway.

I hope I helped.

it was not slugs throwers it was the railguns that replaced blasters. I blame Darth Kitty. Force blades should be fine. They rare since there are other easier to make light sabre proof blades but they don't break any tech rules so go ahead and swing that glowsword
